Great place, friendly staff and love how the app tells you the exact aisle to find the item. Great selection of beer and wine, and the ready made food seems fresh (no skin forming on soup, for example). Don't forget your bags! Unless you want to pay for the small fabric ones. Carts run smooth and has a slot to hold your phone up.

I shop at this store quite frequently. There’s an old balding man that works up front and monitors the self check out- his name is David. He’s extremely rude and watches over me like I’m going to steal something and makes rude comments. If he has to correct something he is extremely condescending and just plain rude. I’ve heard him be rude to others too on numerous occasions. You shouldn’t have someone this miserable working in customer service. He isn’t the only rude employee either- there are several of them at this location that made this their career and are clearly miserable in their work.

I just waited 40 minutes to pick up my online order. After sitting there for 20 minutes I called the store. First time the phone rang about 10 times with no answer so I called back and it rang about 10 times and someone answered and immediately put me on hold for 5 minutes. When she finally answered the phone she said she would send someone right out. Another 10 minutes goes by and no one came out. I finally went in the store to find someone to help me. I really don’t think she called anyone the first time. I will not ever use your online shopping service again.

Their seafood department is top notch. Their fresh fish is clear eyed and shiny skinned. There is no odor in the department and the clerks are very personable. I visited for a sale, but I will definitely be back! Thank you for all that you do for your customers❤️

I just had the worst experience at the west chester location, just went to buy a gift card for someone who lives in jersey and only has shoprite to shop at. But I will never step foot in your store, the customer service person was extremely rude.there was another girl that was there also ,when I asked where the SHOPRITE gift cards were they just pointed at the staand,it was very difficult to move so the one girl moved it around so that I could find the card, and proceeded to point at it and walk away. So unbelievably rude, I worked in customer service for years and never treated a customer like this!!!

Produce is fantastic, much, much better than Giants. Good quality, fresh, huge selection. The store is neat and clean. Only reason I didn't give them 5 star because I only stopped in to pick up few items. I don't have a ShopRite close to me so didn't get the full experience.

Man at deli weighed my liverwurst twice overcharging me by 3.00.... and when I got to the checkout there were no bags for sale so my purchase went from the shopping cart to the back seat of my car without bags.... I come to this store whenever I am in west chester..... this trip was not the best.....

I haven’t been in the ShopRite forever. It seems like at least a few years I was very impressed with their selection. The produce was fresh, the vegetables, the fruit I’m gonna have to go there more.

This store has an incredible selection, really extensive! If you haven't shopped here you'll need a good bit of time to wander around and learn the layout, and I suppose the organizational philosophy. For example, I found hotdogs in four places - they seemed to be in the meat area and in a "brand" area.

Didn't find much that I wanted buy at a price that was comparable to Giant.Purchased extra large eggs for 1.69 Two tomatoes and some frozen breaded eggplant cutlets.

I shop online here and have it delivered. I have also shopped in person here for years. They have the best deli around and their prices cannot be beat. They always slice exactly as I ask. Their meat department is second to none in terms of selection, quality and price. They have many employees who are very informative and have been working there a long time.

ShopRite does a good job with keeping items stocked. this includes sale items. prices are usually lower than acme or giant. And if you are 65 or older, Tuesday gives you a second discount of 5 percent.

Would give zero stars if I could. My husband was accused of stealing multuple times at the self checkout by David. He kept asking my husband if he had apricots. He did not, David asked him if he was sure then looked in the bags and asked "well what small thing did i see then" 100% Unacceptable. After reading reviews on here I see it isn't the first time racism was displayed. Hopefully it will be the last but I won't set foot in any shoprite ever again to find out. This needs to be fixed. Disgusting

I have bought ham from the deli that was already slimy when I got home many times over the last few months, as well as milk that was already sour multiple times. The older gentleman who works the self checkout is one of the rudest employees I ever met. I will take my business elsewhere.

This store has declined. Twice I did my regular shopping and had a full cart and had to put it all back because no one was there to check me out. It’s bad enough you have to bring your own bags and bag your own groceries now they don’t even want to help in a line. Any idea what it’s like to self check out and bag your own groceries from a full cart. I will never shop here again, and keep up this horrible service and you won’t be in business.

This is still one of my favorite local grocery stores after all the recent additions to our grocery store choices in the area. The prices, service, and selection are all great. I particularly favor their deli counter where I always have a great experience even though I'm a little slow in deciding what to get. Patient and courteous. This store is a longtime favorite.

Good prices. Self checkout customer service and machines could be better. I shop frequently, buy most of the same items each time. Everytime I go to self checkout, the "cashier" walks over to my cart and evaluates the items in it. If there were another ShopRite nearby, I'd definitely go there instead. So instead of this employee making me feel uncomfortable, I will report her EVERYTIME until she stops harassing me. I don't go shopping to be harassed. Maybe she's not used to seeing people like me. I don't know, I don't care. She'd better get used to it because she will see more of me and hear more a from me as well. The stars are for the prices and products, not the service.

I’m a regular customer, and I always pay for all of my things and get out quickly. Today, an older white lady with blonde hair decided to ‘help’ me and check my cart, but I realized her true intentions were because I am not a caucasian individual. I had an issue with a broken scanner, so she used that to her advantage. After assisting me with the items even though I was signaling that I was able to do it myself. She decided to go through every little thing I scanned, and looked through my receipt to make sure it matched up. When she couldn’t see a certain thing on the receipt (even though it was on there) she made a face and asked me again until I had to point it out to her. She didn’t do this to any other customer except me. She clearly racially profiled me, and I have never felt so hurt. I just wanted to get my groceries without having to make any issues, and she made me afraid to go there again. I hope that your store will solve this, because I won’t be able to come back here until I know she is no longer an employee

I love Shop Rite prices and food options in general. Great supermarket that sells ethnic products. Very diverse meat selection and love their fresh caught lobsters when they are on sale! Giving this particular location 4 out of 5 due to cleanliness and overall appearance of the store. In addition, the layout of the store makes it a little more difficult to shop.

Stopped by here for some seafood selection. They have a decent selection of wild caught seafood at reasonable prices. The guy behind the seafood counter was helpful. The store looks clean. My wife got 3-4 different fish and picked up a dozen of the Cherrystone clams.

Employees are very friendly and helpful. It's nice to see an employee smiling during work. I live much closer together grocery stores. For the last 20 years I go the distance for a customer orientated store such is Shop Rite. Prices are also more competitive. Quality of produce, meat and bakery rate higher than the competition. I've been a loyal customer just for these reasons.

There were 3 employees in the store tonight one manager two workers old lady and white guys they literally kicked me out the store at 10:59. It was 10:53 and they do close at 11, I get it but dang but the man followed me around the store while I wad trying to hurrily grab my items but he was being so creepy I couldn’t focus because I knew I was being watched. At 10:59 the ladie snatches my cart and screams that they have to clock out at 11. And I just got off work and all I could think about was how many times I’ve stayed hours late at work and this old lady is screaming over literally 1 minute over here time and its not even 11 on the dot yet. Anyways not saying its a bad store but I guess don’t go there at night because you’ll probably get yelled at and kicked out maybe even followed. Live one minute away and they will never see my face and I’d never tell anyone to go there again. Worst Experience Ever In A Grocery Store.

Better prices and selection than Giant. They have also done a better job at keeping the shelves stocked during Covid. The biggest issue is that they did a really poor job planning for kids to go back to college. Since late August they have had extremely long lines at the registers. The complete opposite of their competitors where open lines were abundant yesterday. This usually means lower wages and poorer treatment of their employees. Which falls directly on ownership.

I love the butchers and fish men. The products are varied and cover all bases. They play good music. Employees are helpful and upbeat. This is my favorite supermarket. We bypass many "fancier" markets to shop here, and it ain't close.
