We come to the West Chester Petco for Grooming ! My 1 1/2 year old German Short haired Pointer Bow loves Rachel ! He is a handful and Rachel takes her time with him makes him feel comfortable and is always able to get his nails trimmed with no worries (Bow is not a fan of his nails being clipped ) . I will actually be adjusting my work schedule so he can have Rachel since she has been switched to only Mondays because of how incredible she is with him ! For anyone who's dog is apprehensive about being at the groomers have no fear Rachel is excellent ! We highly recommend Rachel for your fur baby's needs !

My puppy Marcie had a grooming appointment today with Rachael & she did an AMAZING job! I can tell she really gave our dog the best care possible.The team at this store is wonderful overall! There was a super kind cashier who even gave us treats up front. It made our day!Highly recommend coming here for any of your pet care needs!

They require 48 hours notice if you want to cancel your grooming appointment but they will cancel on you within an hour of your appointment. It’s happened to me 3 times now. So if you want your pet groomed in a timely manner don’t go here

I took my pup Blue here today to get his nails trimmed (not his favorite thing!) but the two ladies working on him did such an amazing job and I will 100% be coming here forever for the services! All of the staff lived up on my pup and were so kind and helpful.

Ordered a 75 gallon tank and filter for pick up- the gentleman working that night was great- let us take a lid to see if it fit before we loaded it up into the truck. He was friendly, and gave us helpful information to start up our second tank, cycling it, and letting the good bacteria work through before adding the fish to the tank. His name was Sean (Shawn/Shaun). Not sure about spelling- anyway good employee for sure - give that man a raise or bonus!

We took our dog here for grooming last week and they did such a good job with him. He was easy and has short hair but you could tell they really cared about him and were excited to share with us how well he did when we went to pick him up. We will definitely be back!

Easy parking, dog friendly, good selection and the groomers are great.Penny was groomed yesterday and it went great. She was happy to the groomers and they did a great job. She was so relaxed when I picked her up. Also picked up some food her, good selection.

The first time I visited this store, one as prepared to purchase 3 parakeets. I told the cashier. She said she'd call someone to help me. We waited about 23 minutes before help came. Then when it was time to check out, the cashier didn't know how to give me credit for being a rewards member. And on top of that, they could not figure out how to get the iPad to work so that they could email me care information. Fed up with the situation, I cancelled the order. They had wasted enough of my time. I went there a second day and the cashier was more than helpful. I did see one of the other cashiers from the first day. She basically ignored me. The lesson: the quality of service depends on who is working.

Wonderful responsive staff - when we adopted our dog this was the first place we went for supplies. Four years later it’s our preferred store and the same great staff are still there. We have used their training (Crystal) and grooming (Aaliyah) services and were not disappointed.

My wife and I were purchasing two parakeets. The young woman who helped us was terrific. She was knowledgable and helped us not only buy the birds but all of the items we would need for the cage. Excellent service.

The cashier was wonderful, she shared experiences that happened to her when I told her my dog had Cushings and I was there to buy diapers. The only drawback (I can't even call it a negative) was that nobody asked me if I needed help and I had to search aisles to find what I needed.

This is my local pet store. I went there with my daughter stop by the free roaming cat area, all the cats were nice. The walked about the store. Place seem clean not much help offered. But we ending up leaving with a baby beta fish which is cool. Never really find them as babies. Would of gave more stars if someone would of said hello or do you need help before we made it to the cashier

Dropped a client dog off at the groomer. They knew him by name, were super friendly and efficient. He always looks and smells on point for many days after his bath. This crew is wonderful!

GROOMERS AT THIS LOCATION HURT DOGS!!Groomers at this specific location are horrible (Sales staff is nice). I brought my puppy for a routine bath and clipping. TWO HOURS later I find out my 7 month puppy has been kept in the back in a crate SOAKING WET for over an hour after being injured from the groomer clipping his nails the wrong way. The groomer then refused to continue bathing him and did not want to finish. The only reason I know this is because I walked in the store expecting the cleaning to be finished (2 hours later) or at least close to finished. Nope! Instead I found out there was no attempt to even contact me and the dog was still wet being kept in the cage because the groomer was "scared" and had no plan to finish cleaning him. You'd think she would have had at least called me to let me she was not going to finish the cleaning because the dog was stressed and that I could pick my dog up. NOPE instead he was just kept in the cage soaking wet for over an hour. My question is how long he would have stayed there if I hadn't walked in the store when I did? Would she have waited 2 more hours till she called me? (He's a lab puppy with a regular positive social life at the dog park, around children, and strangers.)Their were two women working that day. The one I interacted with was completely unprofessional, had no sense of how to work with animals, and smelled like a chimney. The other woman working seemed a little more experienced, but was also the "manager" for the grooming department that day. If she allows this kind of behavior then she's just as incompetent.There is no way I would ever return to this location nor should anyone who is looking to have their dog groomed. I came home with a 7 month old puppy with a bleeding nail, soaking wet, and completely stressed.

I do not know the name of the girl, but whatever employee was closing on 12/21/19 at 9pm at the cash register in West Chester is such an angel. We had to run in last minute for some items for our cat who had gotten sick and not only was she so pleasant (even when we rolled up to the register at 8:59pm), but also helped us make the most of any coupons we had PLUS We had such a nice little random Conversation. I wish I grabbed her name because she honestly deserves a raise. There needs to be more people in the world like her, and everyone retail experiences would be amazing! Thank you for your kindness to pet owners and passion for animals!

This was my first time in Peco at this location. I was shopping for my new kitten for kitty litter. I wanted something that of course held the smell and was safe and effective for my kitten. The young man walked over and assisted me and also there was an older couple who also helped, well the product they both suggest work out PERFECT!!! Thanks

Very nice store! I went up to drop off my beautiful foster kitty. Very clean , had some nice things i would have bought but i didn't want to pay the tax. If i lived in Pennsylvania , this would be my go to pet supply store. Everyone was so friendly (especially the Forgotten Cats adoption center ppl) I was acknowledged when i walked into the store which was really nice . The store seemed to still be grooming dogs at 6pm on a saturday night. They also had a dog trainin class about to start as i was there.

I've had grooming done here and attended puppy classes. Crystal, the dog trainer, is really great! She was easy to work with for scheduling and always helpful with my goldendoodle puppy. He started in classes when he was 3 months old and has made amazing progress. We still have work to do but will continue with Crystal. He was also groomed by Aliya for his first ever grooming. She worked with him to get him comfortable and used to the dryers and he came back looking great and super happy! I've had nothing but fantastic experiences here and will continue to use this Petco as my main store.

Worst grooming experience ever. I was told I could never bring my 6 month old puppy back because he was too rambunctious getting his nails trimmed. Well yeah..he's a puppy. I at least asked if I could bring him back another day when he's calmer and they said no he can't come back. And then they still wanted me to pay for it! Unbelievable. Bring your dogs elsewhere to get groomed.
