I didn't even want to give one star. What and the HECK is wronggggg with this company. All the stores are a MESS!!!! Stuff is just sitting in the aisles, and all over the aisles.There is no room to walk, or get around. Since I've lived here in Chester for 2 years, its been this way!! The stock is NEVER put away on the shelves. The locations here, especially on edgemont avenue, are always closed in the middle of the day. In all my life, I have NEVER seen a store operate such as this....beyond insane!! Then again, it's demographically, a poor neighborhood, So NOBODY cares....

Very good warm place! Smells excellent every time! Always new great smells! Always good sales as you walk through the doors on rack and bins and also a discount table too! This is best dollar general of them all in Chester, PA. I love Chester so much! Very convenient near Ches Penn and Auto Zone and near the SSI building and the welfare department and police department. Not too far from C & C's Place and Septa transportation department is located. Across the street from Avenue of the States.

I come almost everyday and don’t have problems but this lady today at 5:39pm snatched an item out of my hand after I asked for a price check and ignored me afterwards and wasn’t trying to sell me my items. Had NO MASK ON name is ROSALIND

The store manager is a discrase she treats the customers like crape and she tells them not to come back in her store and closes the store because she done and does not want to wait on them anymore. they have trash all over the floors. You can't get down the Walk way in between each aisles because they are blocked up with supplies they have not put up yet.

It I could give no stars I would!!! i worked here for almost 6 months thank god i got transferred DO NOT SHOP OR WORK HERE!! THE STORE MANAGER ALEXIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL SHE TALKS ABOUT EVERYONE THAT WALKS IN THAT STORE SHE ((ALLOWS)) PEOPLE TO COME IN AND STEAL AND THE REASON THE STORE BE CLOSED IS CUZ THE WAY SHE DOES THE SCHEDULE SHES A VERY POOR STORE MANAGER THEY NEED A NEW ONE

Went looking for a kiddie pool that was on their flier. Store was clean but not well stocked. There were boxes of products stacked in the aisles waiting to be placed on the shelves. There were two employees at the time so they may need to hire people to get the location a bit more tidy. Cashier was super friendly.

Good location. Store is a little cluttered but overall a good Dollar Store to shop at. Many people use this location during the day so best to arrive there a little earlier in the day. Customer service was ok as well. HUGE parking lot, so plenty of places to park. Pretty much your typical dollar store overall.

Went for a bed cap and hair rollers. They did not have either item available at that time. There was a cart with inventory in the aisle to be unloaded. Cashier was pleasant and apologetic. There appear to only be one person in the store should have at least two or more persons at all times.

If there was a no star the I would have given this store one. Be careful shopping here people there seem to always have an attitude and nasty at the customers. Couple of times I've been there have not been very good experiences. The cashiers and managers are rather unpleadant. The last time I was there they said I had to check in my bag when I asked for where the water bottle was located. I wasn't comfortable leaving my bag at the register. The person that talked to me then called the manager who then started yelling across the aisle and was getting so nasty. I asked if they had a sign that says customers bags will be checked in at the register. She said no and they were not going to put up a sign. She started to call the police. I had to just leave, though I really wanted to buy a bottle of water because I was so thirsty.

As usual, good prices, relatively nice staff, store is clean and for the most part (HUGE EXCEPTION is the clearance area and clearance prices. BEWARE, items with clearance stickers, are often NOT on clearance, or IF they ARE clearance, MANY TIMES the clearance price is LITERALLY a few pennies cheaper than regular price. Many times when asking for a clearance price on an item a store clerk will give you a VERY different price then what you will get charged at the register, and unless you LITERALLY bring the clerk WITH you to get rang up, then they will NOT honor what the worker or the signs have told you!!!) As I was saying, for the MOST part, ESPECIALLY for the area it's located, a nice store to shop in!

This store smells like an old basement that has been flooded with sour milk. But a big sign is outside that says, "hiring, $10/hr". No wonder it's dirty.

The store was cramped and the idle setup was not clear. I searched 20 minutes for something as simple as plastic latex gloves and never found them.

Only because their floor is never Cleared everything is all over the place it every man and woman for the self in that store I don't like it because my family member is in a wheelchair and Lord only knows a they get hurt just by trying to go in the store Is to clattered and they need to do something about that

if I can give it no stars I would they close too early when it say 10 pm I went there because I ran out of paper plate's for my children to eat I got there at 8:20pm and they was closed I only live 5min from the store I called the store no answer
