Smaller, crowded isles, plus metal stocking carts always block somewhere. Frequent staff turn over. Best option quick trip items but ads items minimal quantity.No Cherry Pepsi kept stocked.Cash back is a fee.Manufacturer/Store coupons easy clicked app n use phone number entered at checkout terminal. At times in ad but no coupons to click ? Any coupons can only be used 1x. Multiple item purchase not possible unless separate phone number App that paper coupons allow. Weekly receipt coupon usually good for Saturday trip $25+get $5.off if you want to get, for return trip wanted items still b in stock. Seasonal items great mark downs at end. Limited clothes now. Very cheap shoes usually break ! Great card prices. As Seen on TV items available limited. Late hours for forgotten next day items. Good Handicap parking but Poor ability navigate through crowded Store. Staff is helpful to assist you w items/availability/ and around stocking if you raise voice they appear !

First of all, they NEVER answer the phone. I'm always calling for the most simple thing and they never answer. Second, I've seen so many of the employees be extremely rude to a special needs employee that I'm not a violent person but they make me want to be. Pretty sure one of the employees was a manager too.

Love their products. Love the price. Love the fact that they have seasonal products available. Hate that they put mom and pop shops out if business like walmart by popping up everywhere. Their coupons are pretty good. Save 5 on 25 if you are spending 25 already is worth it. Otherwise keep your money and shop elsewhere.

I love dollar general and I never had a problem with this dollar general like I did the one in Arizona where they make u out your bag up by them bc they think you might steal. So it def made me feel bad when they did that when I lived in Arizona. But this one here is much better and they are all very nice.

Place is a total mess which is apparently standard across the Dollar General chain. Evidently, one of the cashier's let's a woman bring in her pet dog but the other doesn't. So, instead of taking the dog home, this broad chains it up outside and does her shopping. I don't expect Macy's level shopping at Dollar General, but this location and the location in Beaver Falls could fill an entire book on trashy behavior.

Rochester store is an absolute mess. Nothing is put away, and there is boxes everywhere. Nothing is put away on the shelves. SERIOUSLY, you can barely get through the store with a shopping cart. On the other hand, the Baden store is immaculate. Very clean and orderly. Friendly staff and very helpful. If you are goi to the dollar general, I'd make the trip to monaca or Baden.

Dollar General is one of the best stores. I see why they keep building new ones. They have great $1 deals! I go there everyday in Ambridge Pa. Keep up the good job!

I would have to say this is one of the worse Dollar General stores in the county. I would venture to say maybe in the entire state. It is small, woefully understaffed, and a total mess. It's also very very dirty, when compared to others in the county. In all honesty this store should be shut down asap because the lack of compliance when it comes to covid protocols in the state. The floors are border line dirt floors. This is where Gov Wolfe and that mutant should be shot for shutting down the small mom an pop shops but letting stores like this stay open, just because it's a massive retail chain. This store is borderline a supersrpeader for covid. Half the time they are closed because the lack of staff. With a huge building such as the old Kmart in the same lot it wouldn't be much for them to just take over a section of that building and move in there, instead of that dump they are in now.

Not bad of a place. It is not a newly constructed building but there is a wide variety just like all of the other stores. It is cleaner than a lot of the other Dollar General's around the county

The clerk was nice, however, customers are not always wearing masks and as far as I'm concerned, it should be mandatory. Selfish and self absorbed in my opinion those who refuse to wear one in public forum. Ty DW

HORRIBLE!!! My 74 yes old mother purchased bra's and she had receipt but 1 bra had tags messed up and they treated her like a thief! Even checked cameras!! Of course she finally got her money but that manager was so rude. Maybe if employees wld do the jobs instead of standing outside smoking real thieves wldnt be able to steal. Also wanted to add that the manager ever apalogized for mistreatment. Gave gift card and walked away :(

They didn't have what I was looking for and every time I'm in there there's a line at least 5 deep, I wish they'd open both registers when they're busy. But customers and clerks have always been really nice.

Rather crowded and smaller than the one in Center. I got what I went in for but not a big selection. Staff were pleasant but did not seem like they were pleased that us customers came to shop there.

Cashier was very rude to me, slammed my items on the counter, was nasty and gave me attitude over a price that was displayed.. have been trying to call and the phone rings 2 times then says sorry we are busy helping other customers. Have been trying to call for 45 min nowHonestly this store doesn't even deserve a star

They have a huge variety in their stock. Many things you wouldn't expect to be there. Some of the prices are high considering the quality and some are low with very good quality. Pay attention and you can save a lot of money.

They for the most part have all the items and food a person could find in a Dollar General .they close early sometimes from lack of enough persons to keep the store open after 8:00 or 9:00 p.m.

Dollor General is a place you can make 5.00's streach. They have just about everything you may need unless it's more specialized. At a time when Covid is a big topic, where we traveled ...people were complying with Covid masks.

Cant get 2 carts in 1 isle,boxes everywhere cant see the items that are there.parking is a joke .building is small I dont know why they didnt stay northern lights
