Hadn't been for awhile, so decided to check it out. Was disappointed to see a lot more furniture...assumes this means this Big Lots will end up the same way the one in Aliquippa is -all furniture. Right now they still have grocery items and normal department store-type items. If they keep them, I'll keep going. If they move to all furniture, I'm sure they'll end up like every other furniture store in the area...bankrupt and closed.

What is going on with Big Lots? Everytime we shop at this store, it's filthy. Trash all over the floors that look like they haven't been cleaned in months. Some aisles are such a mess and not organized! Where is the manager? Does know one take pride in their job anymore???

A little pricey even with the 25% Christmas decorations and wrapping paper. Didn't really have to much of anything in stock

The store is fine. It's clean, organized and the employees are friendly. I used to find unique things at a good price but it has become very homogenized and the prices aren't cheap. I would say that their merchandise and prices are equivalent to Walmart.

Nice store with a little bit of everything. Have made many purchases at this store including a mattress several years ago that's still very comfortable. Good quality items at reasonable prices. Staff always very helpful and pleasant..

Great selection and very helpful staff. I didn’t realize big lots sold so much furniture. Great deals. I managed to get my wife something pj’s and they were buy one get the second one half off.

I drove there to buy something advertised in their ad and couldn't find it. I asked the lady working at the cash register where I could find the item in the store and she said that they never received them in. I called around to the other Big Lots and they never got them either. How can you advertise a product that you never had?

I have been to 2 Big Lots in2 days. Happy I got everything I needed. But I do have say the employees at the Butler store are more helpful and pleasant than at the Rochester store. What a crabby lady working there. If you don't like your job then find a new one that doesn't deal with people. There are plenty of jobs available.

Asked if they had anymore of the animated Halloween prop besides the one on display the guy was checking them turn around and sold the display to another guy, then had an attitude with us when we asked about it. That was my first AND last time ever going to big lots. My mom shops there religiously she won’t be now. Very very poor people skills it made me sick.

It's Big Lots it is what it is. The cashier was nice, but he pointed out my email for rewards and points was wrong and the only option was a new card... After 6 years. Prices are not as competitive as they have been in the past

Liked this particular Big Lots as they did have items available for what I was looking for.Prices were actually discounted more than usual.Store employees could be more personable when asking questions about items and prices.

The store is clean, not cluttered, nice choices in furniture, however prices are rather high for household products, linens, towels. Comparable to a Kmart.

The store is pretty well maintained and organized. The store is laid out in a very economical fashion with the furniture section in the center of the store. And the other sections surrounding it.This Gives it a nice open feel to it. The selection of items is okay. And if you look around you may find some brands at a lower price then that some of their competitors.

I haven't been in that store in 10 years. Stop to look at a mattress for our trailer. So surprised at how neat it was not like it used to be. I will enjoy shopping there from now on

Bought the Tropical High Bistro table two months ago. Didn't realize was also sold as a 3pc set. Looked online for chairs in my area. No luck! Saw this store had them. Called to verify, how many and in stock. Told the lady on the other end we was on our way! Not only did this store have them.... They were kind enough to pull 2 of the chairs and have them at the register for us. 5 stars for great communication and customer service!!!!!

My initial reaction to our shopping experience today was not a great one. Bought a new matress and box spring from the local Rochester branch. The female associate covering in furniture today was not very friendly. It almost seemed like she didn't want to be bothered to sell anything today. After finalizing my purchase I continued shopping for other items and then checked out at the front register. The gentleman cashier was very friendly and went out of his way to make it a pleasant experience. To him, I say thank you for restoring my smile and sending me off in a better mood than that which I started with my first purchase.

Nice selection but I had to wait quite a while for help when I asked for help the employee put her hand up and walked away on her cell phone but another worker came over and took care of me after about 20 minutes. If you are just going in to grab some small things it's a great little store and stocked up nicely.

A lot of selections there. Furniture a little bit high but no worse than anyone else. Stories extremely clean restroom are available. Service is average. All in all a good experience.

Beautiful remake inside store. Rochester Big Lot now inviting clean well-stocked well organized. Furniture displayed beautifully it was a pleasant experience. found what we wanted staff was courteous helpful but wow the whole inside of the store looks so clean and inviting and beautiful.

Great deals on low to mid range furniture. Friendly staff with a newly resurfaced and usually empty parking lot. Look for their fliers for great savings and rewards membership is free and easy to sign up. Sometimes a bit sketchier than Walmart though. 'Murica 🤣🤣🤣
