2019 - Dr. Matunis has taken the best care of my pup Ruby. She is a fearful rescue and he is very patient with her! We have also brought our family dogs here my whole life who've had various procedures and surgeries with good outcomes. The vet techs are also wonderful and the practice sends consistent reminders for wellness visits and vaccines.11/16/23 update - We still LOVE eagle animal hospital and my family has trusted them for multiple decades through multiple dogs. We just recently had our dogs teeth cleaned. They were WONDERFUL throughout the whole process and the results are amazing!

We have been taking our dogs here for some time, ever since we moved from the Sanatoga area and had to switch veterinary practices. Everyone has been extremely friendly and the doctors are attentive and knowledgeable. Although the practice seems small, they are very professional and seem to have all the modern capabilities expected.

Our Carly was a patient with them for 9 years. They are exceptional. They were very receptive to Carly's needs right up to the end. Dr. Metunis and Dr Granite were awesome. We could not recommend them more.

I have taken all of my furry dog friends to Dr. Matunis and Granite over the past ~20 years. They and their team continue to provide high quality veterinary care as in the recent weeks when my cherished older lab has been quite ill. Such a great team that my dog falls asleep when he visits, presumably because he also senses he is in good hands.

The vet at this place is good and very pleased with him. However I have never met a such a rude and careless groomer (Cristin Capriotti). You would expect a groomer to follow the directions that are specifically given to them when leaving a dog. Twice now the groomer takes the lazy way and does what she wants to your own dog and has the audacity to give you a "take or leave it" attitude. I highly discourage grooming at this place or at least grooming with Cristin Capriotti.

I usually don't write reviews but I think this vet office needs one. DO NO GO THERE. I brought in a sick cat that is a house cat very loving but timid to new people and places. As a professional in the animal industry myself, when they wanted to take her to the back for exams, and the vet tech man handled her I asked to take her back there, as my cat was scared in her arms the vet tech said no, I said I would just take her back there and she said no! as she continued to man handle even worse my cat. About 5 minutes later the vet came back and said my cat had DIED!! But did she want me to try to resucitate her... I went back there and then the vet said that would cost more!! I looked at my poor sweet Emily and and I asked, " don't you want to try just for yourself!? AND she kept talking until it was obvious that my poor cat was dead and not to be revived. I asked her if she want to do an autopsy to see what happened and she said that would COST me!! THey were not even interested enough to find out! I have reported them to the board of vets. And there is an inquiry. I would not go to this place. This is not a place that really likes animals. It is a money machine only. I never even got an apology.

Doctor Matunis and his staff have taken excellent care of our dog ever since he was a puppy. The desk staff and techs are always super friendly and extremely helpful. Dr. Matunis is an excellent diagnostician and I firmly believe that our dog is still alive & healthy today thanks to his quick, accurate diagnosis and treatment of IMHA when it appeared in our pup. We love Eagle Animal Hospital and are so grateful to the care they have given us and our dog over the years.

I have used them for several sheepdogs in the past but i just had my two husky's nails CUT here and I could have done a better job with a pair of clippers at home. Nails are 10 times sharper than they were before taking to eagle not to mention the nails have splintered in several spots. THEY DON'T ROUND OFF/POLISH AFTER!!!!! cut my arm for the first time ever having these two huskies due to this nail cut job! Huge disappointment !

We moved to Chester Springs about 18 months ago, and brought our girl to Eagle Animal Hospital soon after. At 15 1/2 years she needed senior canine care. Dr Matunis was very sensitive to her needs. Over the next year, we knew she was approaching the end of her time with us. We discussed with Dr. Matunis how we envisioned her leaving us, if not on her own. Ultimately, Dr Granite was with us at the end, and she was equally compassionate and helped us make our girl’s passing as peaceful as possible. The office staff was also very helpful and supportive throughout the process.

My family has been with this practice for 19 years. I have also been with them for 7 years with my own 3 animals. Eagle has done the service of euthanasia at home in the past but stopped I’m assuming because of Covid. My family asked if they’d come out to the home due to having to put down two of our senior dogs at the same time. They originally said yes and would work with us. Great! After trying to correlate a good day and time, they all of a sudden flipped the switch and said no. “We missed our opportunity” is exactly what Granite said after giving us single option of a day. Matunis then calls and screams over the phone at my mother about not having staff, no time, no flexible availability for when we needed. We lost our chance to have the people who we thought we trusted the last 19 years help us endure the loss of our two sweet pups instead of having a stranger do this service for them. The way Dr Granite and Matunis handled this situation was uncalled for, highly unprofessional, and extremely uncaring as this is a traumatic experience anyone has to go through. We will not be returning to Eagle Animal Hospital and will seek much better care elsewhere. We will also continue to share our traumatic and hurtful experiences with everyone we know who uses them. To this day, they have not reached out to check on our dogs or ask if they need any medical attention. Shame on you.

I have been using this vet for a couple years now. The service has been outstanding at the front desk, with the techs and the vets. These people care about both you and your pet. Prices are extremely fair as well. Highly recommend.

Eagle Animal Hospital was recommended to us by a friend and I have to say, I am very happy with the exceptional service and high level of experience/knowledge. They addressed the root of the issue based on the intricate function that was causing the issue. The issue was happening on and off for about 1 1/2 years that another vet could not figure out appropriately and I was just being charged for something new each visit. Eagle Animal Hospital is trustworthy and the staff is very kind. My pup is now recovering very well and back to being a happy guy. I highly recommend them for your animals.

Honestly, it doesn't get better than the staff at Eagle Animal Hospital. The front desk staff is always friendly and on top of everything. The vet techs and doctors are kind, caring, and take their time. We have a very picky dog, who is very selective of other dogs, and they always make sure a room is ready so I can skip the waiting room calamity of another dog. We moved and while they are no longer as close, we knew we would remain at the practice.Keep up the great work! We appreciate the care and love you put into our dogs.

In response to your answer to my daughter: My only mistake was wanting someone my girls know and trust. I had asked if it was possible for them to come to my home because we needed to put two down. Two. And we were keeping them for burial. They didn’t need to make any other arrangements. If using cremation going to the office makes sense. Not put them back in the car and bring them both back home. I just needed them to give them peace. I never received any emails or texts about it. Desiree handled everything. (Thank you) Neither doctor ever got on the phone with me. Until Matunis thought I didn’t have enough stress and needed to be put in my place.Ranting about timing and staffing. On and on. I couldn’t even talk. Made it seem like I was demanding. I can honestly say I never argued or demanded anything. I got upset once and called Desiree back within 10 minutes to apologize. It was a lot to deal with. But when Matunis called, I had to hang up because I was in a public place.And I think what bothers me more than anything is no one ever reached out after to see if they still needed medical care. Guess it didn’t matter if they were alive or dead at that point. Instead of peace for my girls, 16 and 13, it turned into a nightmare.Just so other people know, please use Lap of Love. Sara came out (alone, no staff needed) and treated us with dignity and caring. Not going to say which one or both because it’s no concern of EAH.I didn’t deserve the way I was treated by Matunis. I was already stressed, sad and depressed. He only added to that. I’ve lost all respect for him. Absolutely astonished at what happened.Please don’t say you loved my dogs. Because if you truly did none of this would have happened. You would have went out of your way.Once again my only mistake was putting my trust in people I thought cared for my family.

Dr. Martinis and Dr.Granite are the BEST.They have been looking after our pets especially my Older Yorkie “Phoebe” for many years explaining her various ailments in a detailed manner and Prescribed necessary treatment to correct her problems.I have recommend Eagle Veterinary to many of my friends and neighbors and they have experience the same Professional service.

We moved to the area 2.5 years ago and checked out this place on a whim for our dachshund rescue dog. We have fallen in love with this practice. They adore our dog, Yoshi. Nikki loves him and always gets excited to see him and knows him by name. They are great for overall care as well as nail trims. They have fair pricing and nice email notifications. The staff is super nice and the doctors are extremely caring and knowledgeable.

The people here are wonderful and so caring. My poor baby had to be put to sleep due to a tumor that could not be operated on. Everyone was so understanding and compassionate. It was a terrible day for me and I will never forget my best friend cat , Hope. I miss her so much. My cat received wonderful care and Hope felt comfortable going there. We are both appreciative of the care she received.

The vets and staff at this office go above and beyond every time we visit. They truly care about our pets and are extremely knowledgeable. When we moved to the area, we interview and visited many different vet offices and happily selected this one. They showed incredible compassion and grace when caring for my cat of 17 years, and they genuinely seem happy to see our dog during every appointment. When we adopted a dog from a rescue, they all were instrumental in improving her health and socialization. Their PetPortal online service is perfect for viewing pet records and requesting appointments.

Dr. Matunis and the Eagle Animal Team are just great -- caring, knowledgeable and very service oriented for both owner and pet. They don't overcharge or just do something as a guess or "just cus." They are thorough, dependable and trustworthy which is huge when you have a loved fur-one that can't talk! I highly recommend them and I say this after a relocation from another state where that vet was so awesome that it was hard to leave. But I've now found a new vet family!

June 2020I have lived in the area for about 4 years now and have used Eagle Animal Hospital for our two cats for most of that time, after a short stint with another vet that was very expensive and not attentive. The younger cat is very routine and has no health issues, but the older cat had numerous problems that required daily medicine and visits every couple months. The office staff is very professional, considerate, and compassionate, and the overall quality of care is wonderful. Prices are not as outrageous as I have experienced with other vets in the past.Unfortunately my elderly cat had to be put down in June 2020, but the level of compassion that this facility shows for both the animals and the owners is unmatched. They really take time to make sure you have all the information you need leading up to this tough decision to say goodbye to your furry family member, and they even followed up afterwards to check on us. And we got to stay with our beloved furry child until the end, so it's nice they allowed it during this total freakout over Covid.

I have been to other vets in the Chester Springs area and am so glad I found Dr Granite and Dr Matunis!!! In addition, Both Drs check up on my dogs even when I don’t have an appointment! We have been clients of Eagle Animal Hospital for more than 15 years. Dr. Matunis, Dr. Granite and their staff are extremely attentive, knowledgeable, thorough, professional and compassionate. We recently lost our dog, Bella, to a devastating and prolonged illness. With Dr. Matunis’ compassionate care, our inevitable and heart-wrenching decision to end her suffering was made more bearable. He and his staff created a peaceful atmosphere for Bella’s “crossing”… much more peaceful and beautiful than we could have possibly imagined. I found a stray cat a while back and took him in to see Dr. Matunis. I can't emphasize enough how WONDERFUL both he and his staff were! They were incredibly generous, professional, and so friendly! As a college student, I was anxious when I first took him in because he was older and I was worried about taking care of him. The staff was incredibly supportive and reached out to me in a number of ways.They gave me a care package with treats for him and all kinds of other goodies for him too! It is obvious that everyone at the Eagle Animal Hospital loves animals and wants to help them be happy and healthy in any way they can. I can't say enough how much I appreciate the warm environment they provided. I felt so much better when I left!
