Due to some situations I am a regular shopper here. Specifically for the Pharmacy. I have to tell you that they are all such phenomenally efficient, absolute multitaskers - everyone of them. I have seen several different pharmacists and all of them are so knowledgeable, very agile, and above all, never lose their cool despite their overstretched work. Photos, yes i have seen delays there. I have once or twice bought milk even that turned bad but those are one-offs IMHO. Pharmacy is where this CVS knocks off the charts.

If you want to be racially insulted by condescending actions, this would be your best bet. Racial insults are more oblique these days. How can people still keep doing this and get away. We were there to get pictures and from the time we entered, we were treated as a second class citizen. Thank you for affirming my belief that racism runs deep.

This is on Pottstown Pike in Chester springs. Have enough, but it's not so easy to get in and out. The shop as such is okay compared to other cvs Pharmacies. They got what you would expect in a cvs Pharmacy. Went to pick up.some.over the counter and found what I needed. If you need something in a rush, why not stop by.

Seems to be consistently disorganized, with frequent miscommunication. There are some good people working there, but not enough to overcome the lack of organization

The worst customer service ever at the Uwchlan cvs and now their cvs survey crashes after I explained the whole situation. Let’s see how can we make a terrible customer experience situation worse? I know let’s have him fill out a survey and make it crash on him. Thanks. Bye CVS hello Rite Aid.

Despite all of these negative reviews, I always have a pleasant experience at this CVS. The pharmacy sometimes seems hectic, but they always fill my requests quickly, and they are always very friendly. I needed a prescription filled ASAP, so my doctor called it in, and when I called CVS, the automated message told me it would be another day before it was filled. I called back and spoke to someone in person who was able to accommodate my same day request, and she was extremely pleasant about it!

I never write reviews but this needs to be addressed and brought to the attention of all those planning on using them in the vicinity. This CVS should get 0 stars if I could do so. The pharmacy in this location should be permanently shut down due its incompetence and negligence of its staff.. I recently had to have an antibiotic prescription filled for my sick toddler. The doctor sent it directly to the pharmacy at 2 pm. When I called 2 hours later to check on the status of prescription, the pharmacy was closed . Apparently it closed at 2pm as a result of understaffing when this location is open until 6 and left their phones on so that prescriptions could still go through - even though there was no one there to fill it. I had to then scramble to get hold of the district manager so that she could "return" my prescription so that another pharmacy could fill it. When I called the next day to speak to the pharmacist she told me that this is an ongoing issue with the store and they are trying to "Fix" it. Is this a joke. This isn't a laundromat!! This is a pharmacy and responsible for lives. Please close them down.

Despite some rough reviews, I have to say Holly and the team in pharmacy provided a great prescription refill experience recently. Oh, and CVS does have the best selection of Ben and Jerry’s!

The CVS on Pottstown Pike in Chester Springs has the absolute worst pharmacy staff ever. Terrible customer service! I have been a loyal CVS customer for many, many years. All stores that I have dealt with until I moved to Honey Brook have been exceptional. When I moved to Honey Brook last year, I moved all of my prescriptions to the Chester Springs location. At first I blamed COVID for the long waits, and bad attitudes. No more. In a world full of competition, the staff at this pharmacy ignores customers, and does as little to help as possible. I am moving my business elsewhere, after 30+ years.

unlike the other reviews, i find this to be the most pleasant cvs in our area! i don’t personally use the pharmacy service often, but when i do every month or two, i’ve been met with very nice service from the woman at the window. They were quite understaffed coming off of the pandemic, and they seem much more prepared now :)as for the retail staff, i couldn’t be happier! edward the supervisor guy is very welcoming and helpful, and all of the other staff i have interacted with have been cool as well. two thumbs up! 👍👍

Lots of empty shelves, especially OTC meds, and no store associates to be found, especially at the checkout counter. This has been the norm for a while at several local CVS stores, so much so that it’s more convenient now to get what I need or want elsewhere. Also, sale items dominate and tend to make any coupons awarded to your CVS card useless.

It doesn't matter how close you live to this location, go to ANY other CVS, no matter how long the drive, the wait is longer than the drive. I was lied to on the phone when trying to get a prescription transferred from the ACME due to them not having it in stock, then when I visited, I waited for two hours, just to find out the inept staff had misplaced my name and forgotten all about me and my pain prescription. To wait is normal, but not because of incompetent practices.

Terrible customer experience and never again. No staff to help, only kiosks to check out, and staff that is working is annoyed if have to answer a question where an item is located. I will no longer be visiting when other stores in area that respect their customers

-Pharmacy closed without warning, left patients high and dry. Irresponsible, unprofessional, and dangerous.-I get a script every 2 weeks for 6 years like clockwork. Usually, I have some hassle with this CVS involving calling to make sure it hasn't been set aside or ignored altogether. Thats usually the process, but at least I can get my medication.Today - during normal business hours, I found that according to the OTP AI the pharmacy was closed. When I attempted to find more, I was simply hung on without being able to get a human in the loop. So I leave work and drive to the CVS to find out whats going on.'Staffing issues' was the excuse. Allgedly, staffing issues that sprang out of nowhere impeding the management from letting patients know of the situation.ABSOLUTE RUBBISHSystemic staffing issues do not suddenly spring up. If filling schedules is so difficult that closing the pharmacy is the only viable option, issues within the staffing pipeline have been going on sufficiently long that patients *could* have been notified.Instead, to preserve what pathetic remnants of their public perception remains, they simply to NO ONE and let them find out when we were coming in expecting our medication. Some of us have medicines that are location locked and cannot be transfered, as such I am now going to be at least 24hrs. Without a medication I take regularly and that is beyond unacceptable.Avoid this place like the plague, I know I certainly will be.ADDENDUM: Tried to resolve with corporate, no avail. Re-Assert my prior phase, AVOID THIS PLACE AND THEIR GROSS NEGLIGENCE.

Pharmacy staff is the absolute worst- they need to take lessons from the CVS staff in Eagleview Target on how to treat their customers. Wait 5 deep in line and then they tell you to wait 20 more minutes because they have people in front of you, but they had the script for 2 days. Managers need to train staff.

Wasted 1 hour because Pharmacist was not putting right insurance information. Looks CVS does not care about the customer. There are so many reviews about the location but no improvement. Looks like time to go some other pharmacy!

This is absolutely the worst prescription service I have ever received in my long lifetime. The story around it is far too long and sordid to outline here. Suffice to say, because the Chester Springs pharmacy department has suddenly and abruptly shut down, I am unable to get important medications filled through CVS anywhere or even another pharmacy chain due to the downstream knock-on effects of this closure. I have received no support whatsoever (or even the smallest amount of empathy/accountability) from other CVS outlets.Their pharmacies have you on indefinite holds when you try to call by phone. When you go into another CVS in person, expect to be coldly referred to their national call center where you wait for hours only to have no one answer the phone. In short, CVS has you held hostage if your script was 'in process' at the Chester Springs store. This is unethical, irresponsible, and unconscionable. Needless to say, when I sort this all out, I'll be finding a new pharmacy chain. Won't ever be using any CVS stores in the future under any circumstances!

I would leave no stars if I could. They are never opened at their posted hours and the wait times when they ARE open are atrocious. People only wait In line because they have no other choice if they need their medication. Save yourself the trouble and call your doctors and have them switch your prescriptions to another pharmacy other than CVS. It could save your life if you are stuck waiting for medication that literally keeps you alive like mine does.

The pharmacy is chronically behind with orders. This past month I called two days before I was to run out of my medication, and the automated system said that the prescription was "scheduled for refill but not ready yet." Two days later I called in the evening and a pharmacy worker said it still wasn't done (I had only one pill remaining at this point), but that she could have it ready in 30 minutes. I told her I'd be there in an hour. One hour later I went through the drive through, waited for other cars, only to be told it still wasn't ready. I pointed out that I talked with someone an hour ago and they said they'd have it ready. The tech said, "I know but my colleague has left for the evening and I'm the only one here." The next morning I went again to pick it up and the staff said while the system showed it was filled, they were having trouble finding it. The tech went through many bags before finding mine. Staff seems terribly overworked and location is clearly understaffed. I imagine it's awful to work there. I will be going back to Walgreens.

We moved to the area 3 years ago and selected CVS as our local pharmacy. The last month I have had 2 terrible encounters and I will no longer be using this CVS for prescriptions. My wife had a prescription called in by her doctor and she tried to call to see if it was ready and they didn't answer the phone after 30 minutes. She went there and it wasn't ready for pickup and was told she would need to come back the next day. They never filled the prescription the next day or notified us. A couple weeks later she had another prescription to be filled and went to the pharmacy with her script and was told it wouldn't be able to be filled for 1 or 2 days. We went across the street to Acme and they filled the prescription within 30 minutes and were much friendlier and they also answer their phones in a timely manner.

Called into the automated system for a prescription refill on Tuesday, and was told they needed to get authorization from my doctor. Would it like them to call and get it? I said yes. System told me it would be ready Monday. Ok, a little long, but I had enough to last until then.Monday came, and I didn't get a call saying the prescription was ready (usually I get calls from them all the time for refills I haven't asked for.) I was busy and didn't get a chance to call them until the FOLLOWING Monday, a week later. Finally got thru their phone system to talk to an actual person (not easy!) who told me they called my doctor twice and left a message, but never heard back from him. So they gave up. Never tried him again, never called me.Thanks for the great customer service!

This place stinks! They are always understaffed, don't have rx's ready when they say they will, etc. The place is consistently a mess with pharmacy bags all over the place. Make sure you check what you asked for. Head to Rite Aid, easy transfer of Rx's and seemingly so much more competent.

Called to find out the status of medications that the doctor had ordered hours earlier and was put on hold. Waited for 25 minutes on hold, hung up and tried again. I was placed on hold for a second time for 25 minutes. I ended up having to go into the store to check on the medication. I left a review online about this visit in response to an email CVS sent requesting feedback on my experience. I am now blocked from calling into the pharmacy as I get a busy signal every time I call. Yet I can call from another phone with no issues. WOW...Who does this to their customers?? I have been a customer for 20 years.

I have had many issues at this location getting medication. Forever they are 'out of stock' or promise it and cant deliver. The final straw that they promised yes they could fill my sons script, but when I went to pick up they only had 23 of 30 pills!!! I was left with the choice of either taking that and then getting a new script for the remaining 7 or not taking them at all. THEY ARE VERY BAD. MAKE PROMISES THEY DONT KEEP. STAY AWAY. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

The pharmacy randomly closes without notice. I get a text update for everything from this place but not one when they need to shut down on random days or at random times. Completely unprofessional and scary that I am now without important prescriptions that I need to take daily.

I called 10 minutes before close saying I was going to be there in five minutes and just left the doctors office with my sick child. I wanted to let them know I was coming and made sure they had the prescription. The woman was VERY rude and said she had children she had to go take care of. Ummmmmm…..I arrived before close so she shouldn’t be venting her single mother issues to me. Very unprofessional and rude.

Very long wait time at the pharmacy. I’ve lived in the area for 2 years and this is by far the worst pharmacy experience. I recommend you transfer your prescriptions to either RiteAid or Target pharmacy.

Pharmacy staff is always frantic, prescriptions take a minimum of 4 hours to fill, sometimes over a day. Clearly understaffed and the organization system they use seems chaotic and nothing like the alphabetical system most pharmacies use. It's a convenient location but they desperately need some competition in that part of the county to take some of their business away. AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Never again. We waited for over 2 months on a prescription for epipen and they have no sense of urgency. When we followed up, they still wanted additional prescription from the doctor saying the insurance didn't approve. Even when I said I will pay for it personally, they still declined to release and wanted my doctor to call in and refused to talk with doctor on my ongoing cell call. The worst part is when I hung up with the doctor on the other line and they called back, the pharmacist lied and said I didnt mention that I was paying for it and then only finally released. Most inept and lying staff !!!No apologies, worst customer service. Stay away! Negative stars!

Please know that I would prefer to leave positive review but the patient service at this CVS is so alarmingly poor that 1 star is kind. I have transferred my prescriptions as a result of their rudeness, tardiness, and patient customer malaise. Shame on their company and staff.
