This place is a dumpster fire. This place is always a mess and carts of freight everywhere. Only 1 register open all the time. And, only one poor soul to run it. This company should be ashamed of itself. And please, don't blame the people who have to work here to make money. The company isn't giving them the tools or fellow associates to succeed. Guess all they are worried about is making money at any cost.

There was a very obnoxious lady working at the register and got smart with me as I walked out the door.Terrible store. I won't be going back and I'm not the only one.

The store is pretty spacious, and it's very easy to navigate through the store while shopping. They carry name-brand items as well as great alternative items. Their brand, Clover Valley, is sometimes better than the name brand merchandise. Everything is easy to find.My only issue that it gets really freaking hot in that store. To be fair, I haven't been in there for 2-3 years. Maybe they fixed it.Bottom line: if you're on a fixed budget, or if you even have some wiggle room in your budget, this is a good place to go.**bonus**The sales are great!

The cashier's are absolutely amazing, timely , friendly even go out their way to help you . Only issue I have honestly is the stocking ... Run out of more products before they can get more... Other than that fantastic..

Dollar General used to be my favorite "go to" store. I have gone to many Dollar Generals in different areas and they are ALL the same.....a mess! Lots of boxes stacked in the aisles where you can't get to what you want on the shelves. People are always waiting at the checkout in a long line as well. I don't know if it's poor management, but it's a shame because it's a decent store that has everything. It's not just me, because I have heard many others say the same. I am very disappointed to the point where I don't even patronize them much any more.

I like their variety of items, especially the seasonal decor. I was disappointed that half of my digital coupons did not come off of my total! Sometimes those are very unreliable and I didn't have time to dispute with them.

Store is fine... but the people that work there well turn around rate is nuts! So always new people and ""new employee"" issues thats understandable but even some of the older 1s are slow as hell with check out!

The worst Dollar general to go to.The managers literally scream all over the store, nothing is usually ever correctly placed in the frozen section so it's a find the tag for the price.Definitely not ADA compliant in the store so I highly suggest if you are wheelchair bound to make sure you have assistance or your not getting through easily.

Same as usual. Clutter! Cashier had no smile for anyone. I know it's hard to find happy people during this epidemic! But, cheer up, at least you have a job. 😉😀

It's not worth giving ANY stars! This DG is ALWAYS cluttered with freight! Can't shop because of the MESS, cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, and no space to get anywhere! The floor associates are rude they act like you are in their way.

It's a bad place to shop there is never enough employees self check-out is always down it takes 30 minutes to an hour just to check out and there's never anything on the shelf

The new location started out great, but I've been seeing more and more seedy characters frequenting the store each time I shop there. Its just a matter if time before the junkies, local riff raff and local drug dealers ruin the store just as they did the other location in Charleroi. Its a great store with a great location, please get a security guard immediately and start banning your business killers.

I shop at Charleroi Pa store. Employee & manager's take care of me are friendly.Only one complaint 🤔about the store...The shelf's are to high. I'm not tall enough to reach for myself.I do depend on employee to assist I'm thankful I receive the help. Good job.

Their idea of bigger stores results in a few employees telling me they don't like it there, and they don't have the stock to keep it filled, so yeah good going there Dollar General Corp. for making it harder to keep a store filled. Long lines and only 1 register ever open, rarely see a 2nd one. So no better then where they were previously. I only go there when I can't get to Walmart or up to anywhere in in the Rostraver shopping plaza.Update: October 5, 2019Store is not as nice and clean as it was in the beginning. Now when people go there are Uboats in the isles filled with stock, rare to see more then 1 register open until someone yells to open a 2nd and maybe even a 3rd register. A nightmare to go down there after 5 pm because then you can barely make it around the store with the U-boats, and garbage bags hanging filled with garbage.

The black assistant manager singles us when we shop there and tells us that we need to leave a backpack purse up the front desk and if we bring stuff in that it needs to be scanned by them . It's called cameras so you if you would look at them you would see it as you walk in. The black assistant manager because agressive and has a serious mental health issues.

I like to think of Dollar General as the old time general store. A little bit of a lot of things, from groceries to pet food, clothes, toys, and health and beauty, and household. Friendly, helpful staff.

The New Dollar General is right by the Gulf Gas station and they added a ton of security so the junkies and fiens dont steal to get their fix. Cuz we all know most of Charleroi downtown has alot of drug addicts. But ms.deb is BOSS at this DG she runs a tight clean organized store.

Today I want to thank Debbie for her help, I had been to 5 other Dollar general stores looking for a slip n slide they said they had, but didn't, so I started calling other dollar general stores and she found one and held it for me. Thank you Debbie so much.

This store in particular is always sort of dirty but most DG’s are I suppose. The staff isn’t particularly nice and they don’t always have enough cashiers.
