Absolutely delightful staff! This was our first visit to the store and definitely not our last! It’s one place you will want to include you’ll want to include on your shopping trip!! Stopped in for a few items including fried chicken for dinner!! WOW! If you haven’t tried Windy Knoll Farm Market’s fried chicken… it’s what should be on your menu for dinner tonight! Tell them PA Google Guide, Cindy recommended it. Oh my goodness, I almost forgot the hot cinnamon twist!! Yummy! A MUST! Be sure to eat that first! Desserts first! Who ever said dessert HAD to come after the main dish anyways? REALLY? What STONE was that carved into?Parking: Lots of parking available, no issues present when it comes to having enough parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: Store is as any other grocery store. Children should behave themselves, act like they have been taught to behave when in public and well, it’s kid friendly then.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility for all.

Super busy in there on Thursday ..looks like a big local shopping place. From the time I went in til the time I came out almost every box of local strawberries was gone..ate lunch there..delicious fried chicken . Potato salad is different from any I have ever had..the potatoes are shredded like shredded carrots but it tastes great! Picked up some ham salad and pepper slaw at the deli ( long wait only one lady behind the counter). Windy Knoll is also now selling furniture from Hostetler Tables & Chairs (HTC) which is made from recycled plastics.

This is a great small local market, it makes a nice quick stop on the way home to pick up a small individual portion meal or a gallon of milk without having to run into a big box store. Always clean and bright; not too excited about credit card service fees but they are popping up everywhere anymore - but we will still stop by to pick up milk on the way home ☺️ the kids like to stop for ice cream in the summer!

This place is great! Bakery, precooked foods, baking supplies, ice cream, deli / grille counter it's got everything and it's all good! Stopping in near Christmas is my favorite. You can get real fruit cake that tastes good and cookies like your grandma used to bake.

The icecream is some of the best handmade around. The store itself is has items that other places has but at a cheaper price, especially at the deli! Love coming here for icecream and pretzels then shopping!

20220820: I finally made it to the creamery and market. Before I forget to mention, thry charge a 2% convenient fee on credit card charges. Bring cash if you don't want to pay an extra 2%. The market is smaller then I expected and it's because 1/3 is for the creamery and restaurant. The market has a nice selection of homemade cake, pies, candy, chocolate, delicious meat, baked items like cookies, pretzels, chips, ice cream, etc... I got 4 different bags of chips, some chocolate, peaches, cheese, cookies, and 8 cartons of ice cream since I don't know when I will in the area again. I also ordered their fried chicken (3 legs and 3 thighs) which was soooo delicious, lightly breaded... and crab cake sandwich which was ok. I highly recommend the fried chicken, and one of my pups liked it! I spoke to several shoppers and they are all so friendly. I even had some talks with them. I love meeting friendly people. I really enjoyed my trip in there today and shopping at Windy Knoll. I will definitely stop by again when I need more ice cream Grand cherry chip is my favorite. I noticed several reviews complained about high prices and inflation. Don't blame the small business owners, blame this Biden administration and his voters!Updated 10/16/2021: The Black Cherry Grande is so much better than the regular Black Cherry. it has A LOT more black cherry and chocolate chips. I definitely would get this again. My pups ate all the ice cream and left the chocolate chips and black cherry pieces behind. 😋Updated 7/24/2021: Based on the informative response by the owner, apparently, Scoop-a-licious did not tell me that the ice-cream served at the store was not the same as the take home they sold me. When I told them that I wanted the Black Cherry ice cream, they told me that they have the Windy Knoll's ice-cream and did not clarify that what they served me was not the same brand, or maybe I misunderstood. If you prefer your ice cream with minimum to no fruits, you will likely love Windy Knoll. I prefer my ice-cream with fruit. I do have one more container of Black Cherry with Chocolate Chips - at least that is what the lady at Scoop-a-licious told me I guess I will find out after I finish my 2nd container of Black Cherry.Updated 7/23/2021: Just opened the 2nd Black Cherry Ice cream... WHERE ARE the Cherries??? 😫Updated 7/13/2021: Where are the black cherries?? There is definitely a lot LESS black cherries in the take home ice cream than the scoops I got from the ice cream shop. Very disappointing! Out of 2 big scoops, I got 2 pieces total up to less than 1/2 cherry. I hope I happened to get the container with less cherries. I have 2 more containers to verify.7/5/2021: I was at Scoop-a-licious in Maryland a couple of days ago. I love black cherries and I ordered their black cherry ice cream. I was surprised by how big the black cherries were and there was so many, too, in my ice cream. I ended inquiring about it at Scoop-a-licious, and they told me that it was Windy Knoll's, and I have never heard of Windy Knoll, and I have eaten at over 50 creameries and ice cream places from NY to SC to TN to OH... Region. I bought 3 containers to take home, one of which has chocolate chips. I had some tonight, and there seemed to be less black cherries in the container, but it could just be my imagination. Both my dogs love it, even the one that is so finicky that she doesn't eat many brands of ice cream. I can't wait to visit this market in the near future. FYI: my dogs don't attack good like most dogs. They are very polite, and one will only eat if I feed her or out it in a bowl. That's why I was able to take pics with them helping themselves with some ice cream. 😁

We are from out-of-town and got great service here. A wonderful selection of fresh deli meats and cheeses at reasonable prices, not to mention local produce and some awesome frozen custard. We will definitely be visiting again! ☺

Stopped in for lunch. Purchased the Fried Chicken. Always a "Top Choice". Added Cole and Pepper Slaw from the deli.Ordered cookies for the Holidays. Stopped in and picked up. They had ready on time. Store is always clean and staff is friendly.

I enjoy coming here. They make some great hoagies and they serve some really delicious ice cream. They have a great selection of old fashioned candies, pickling supplies and seasonings. It's a nice country store.They have some baked goods. We bought a small coconut pie and lemon meringue pie. They were okay but they're not as good as Naomi's Bakery inside of Jim's Country Market and almost twice the price. Personally, I think the prices are a little high for some of the items.Also, there will be an upcharge on your purchase if you pay with a credit card so make sure you bring cash!It's a nice place for a hoagie, some ice cream or some specialty items but be ready to spend a little more.

A local treasure. Friendly staff. Spotless interior. Great deli. Amazing ice cream (sad day when they were out of Peanut Butter Explosion.. i hope THAT never happens again) and delicious prepared foods to take home for dinner or a full picnic with the grand kids at local Norlo Park. Not sure what's up with those bulk food aisles; rarely see anyone buying that stuff. Produce is limited but ridiculously perfect. In the spring their pricey outdoor flower pot are gorgeous, long lasting and worth the money.

This has it all. Local farm store with fresh fruits and veggies. Excellent fried chicken by the piece or as a meal. Delicious homemade ice cream. You won't be disappointed. Eating indoors and outdoors. Be sure to check the hours before you go. Closed early

Stood behind a couple for almost 10 mins to today to get ice cream. Only one girl working at counter. Right before she is finished with the couple in front of me another couple walks up. Does she wait on me next no, she walks over to the other couple and ask what they want. Am I invisible, don't think so. All this to get a hot fudge sundae with next to no hot fudge a couple little lines, plus but peanut butter sauce on it, about 5 chopped nuts and no whipped cream for $6.99. Very poor service & sundae. *** In response to Windy knoll I was standing between the signs for ice cream & food and since I was the only other person standing behind the couple getting food way before the other couple showed up should not I be the person waited on. The clerk knows what happened and what she did. I should of taken a picture of my very poor hot fudge sundae.

I have never been here before today and now I'm sad I don't live closer. I got the veggie pinwheels and the person with me got the pepperoni pinwheels and they were absolutely amazing! A super wide selection for an amazing price. I'll definitely be coming back!

My first visit to Windy Knoll Farm Market was great. I never realized they had breakfast and lunch menu items. They have homemade candies, cakes,cookies, cinnamon buns and pretzels. Fried chicken,fries and sodas are delicious. There's even a sitting space to eat.

I like to eat there on occasions, shopping is ok natural foods for most part, unfortunately they have a (convenient charge) if you use your credit card I think it's 3% other than that it's good place to shop and eat.

Great ice cream and friendly staff. Possibly the best ice cream in the area. They have a nice play area for the kids with good rubber padding in the playground with swings, tables in the shade, and more. Thanks for keeping up the good work. Many of their items are priced well, but many are also higher than other stores in the area. Hopefully they'll start offering some good discounts to stay competitive and keep people going back for more!
