The staff there ripped me off about 30 years ago, and I haven’t returned since. I will not step foot in this store. When my children were small, I had taken a starter jacket and several pieces of very nice clothing. When I checked on them, they told me that my clothing was stolen by somebody and they did not offer me any compensation. I believe they are a bunch of thieves. It left a lasting impression.

my homie only had a certain amount of money to spend, so before we checked out she made sure to add up all the prices and make sure it was under her budget, I was standing right next to her and saw that the total should’ve been under her budget, but once we checked out it was about 17 dollars over what she had. I gave her a 20 to cover it simply thinking maybe she miscalculated. Once we left we checked over the receipt and it was obvious at least 2-3 dollars were added to each item. They removed all the tags so there was no way of proving it but we know for a fact it should’ve been under her budget because of how careful she was being with her money plus I was there and saw what some of the price tags were and knew that the receipt was not correct for some items. They scam you pretty much and they cover there tracks as well. Also I love how they argue with everyone in the reviews, very mature. Don’t know if it’s a employee doing this and the owner is unaware of it or if that was the owner who was checking us out. Either way I wouldn’t go here if you are trying to save money. I was a long term customer of this shop and will not be visiting again. Had a very unpleasant interaction with a worker. I had a drink and accidentally missed the sign that said no drinks or food. If I had been asked respectfully to take it to my car I would have complied happily, as I understand store policy. But instead he acted sarcastic, short and rude with me. It almost felt as if he was speaking to a child rather than an adult/customer. As a business student and once a small local business owner, I can not believe how he went about it rather than just respectfully approaching me. Poor customer service abilities.

Not a customer and I actually will never be one after the responses this company gives to genuine customers reviews. Instead of taking accountability and being the bigger person/ business you decided to deflect and gaslight someone into thinking they were at the wrong store. Clearly she should have been shopping somewhere else in the first place. Absolutely disgusting that a place of business has the nerve to speak out like that. You guys won’t last 👎 if I could give this place a zero instead of a one star I would because I cannot believe the comment I just read. Grow up. This company continues to blame the customer for their rude employees and this goes back over a year. Do better or don’t be in business with the public, please and thank you. And if you cannot be professional in your comments to customer reviews maybe don’t comment at all?

Most items are a we bit overpriced. I know it's a consignment store and they have to make their money. I think people are overvaluing their prices making it hard for the shop to maintain their cut and overhead.I feel like it's more of an upscale Fayetteville flea market.........and that isn't saying much.

This has been the most expensive consignment store I've ever visited. Despite having a creditable selection, their prices are unreasonable considering that you could purchase a new item for only a few dollars more.Also, from scrolling down on their reviews, when someone has left a negative review less than 4 stars, it seems this business will say I'm sorry BUT or have an attitude. I could sense an attitude on the lady that looked to be in her 50s to 60s at the register while I was in browsing, too.

I drove up to Chambersburg from northern VA to spend time with family. I love antique shops, consignments, and just exploring- Chambersburg is gorgeous! I had limited time to spend exploring before meeting with family. A quick google search brought this shop among others-but I chose to visit this one for the quirky name. Upon entering, I was mesmerized by the amazing quality, selection, and abundance of items. I wish I had more time to spend in this shop because it's totally worth it. I did purchase some items, which were beautiful, great quality and priced very reasonably. There are items for people of all ages and styles/interests. The employees/owner are all very kind and helpful, which positively added to this lovely experience. They offered me their time and are very friendly. This shop made my weekend!! I can't wait to come back and visit :)

This thrift store is very large and has a very large variety of items, from furniture, clothing, decorations, electronics, walkers, formal wear to even dog gear. Their prices are more then thrifty store prices, but definately less then buying new in most cases. The quality of items is also better, so your still getting a good deal on quality items by buying here. Clothing prices are about the same as goodwill, but more then Act 2. However Act 2 doesn't have a lot of formal wear or Harley gear of that's what your wanting. Definately worth checking out of you want to get a deal on whatever you need. Did see a review where someone said they cheat you at the register and "add" more than the prices say. That is just flat out wrong and I've never had that happen. If your money is tight just use your phones calculator to add everything up before going up to pay to ensure you have enough and don't spend more than you want to.

I have been in this store multiple times, and while their selection was decent the behaviors toward my child this final time were not. My child was browsing clothing for herself two racks away from me (I could clearly see her) she wasn't running around or doing anything but looking at items. My younger child was in the cart with me at all times, also very happy and content. My daughter was spoken (rudely) to by an employee and told she needed to stay with her parents. I understand if she was causing a ruckus or if the place had many people but we were among only one other in the clothing section. Why sell children's clothing if you aren't going to allow children to responsibly browse?Considering I can not reply to your comment, I did not have a screaming child with me. So I do not know what you are referring to. And my daughter also was not under racks. Seems the owner is just as rude as the employee was. You may want to clarify as to what circumstance in which you are responding to.

Love this store and the helpful friendly folks that work there are incredibly helpful but no pressure. I moved here from North Carolina my granddaughter said I'd love this shop, and she is so right. The furniture I have purchased is beautiful remarkable priced extremely reasonable great superb quality, lots to find here, we even found cloths for attending a wedding.I honestly can't say enough good comments I am a huge fan, great job everyone you take the extra mile from product to delivery my new favorite store 😀👍👏❤

I absolutely love this store! It looks like a little mini mall. Very neat, clean and organized. It has a little bit of everything. Faye, her husband and Barb are so friendly and helpful. I am always greeted with a smile and a cheerful hello. I get brand name merchandise for the PERFECT price. Sometimes the merchandise is brand new! Very satisfied customer 😁

Very overpriced. Good selection of different used items. I assume they have a high overhead which results in them having to overprice items to pay the bills. Looks nice but I'm fairly certain they are selling some Halloween costume hats for far more than they sold brand new. Not the kind of thing you wanna see at a second hand store.

The place is very nice & clean. A lot to look at. They have walkers for the elderly, bedroom suites with beds, couches, antiques, Jewelry children clothing, women Small, Medium, LG, & plus sizes clothing . Men clothing, thirty one purses, Vera Bradley purses, coach purses, shoes as well. Formal wear, and country wear. A little pricey, but nice clean no holes etc.

I was visiting the store and simply ask if something was real and an elderly lady at the counter and a Mexican man treated me like I was totally stupid.I’m sorry but not everyone that comes in there knows what you have or knows what things are.I’ve always been told and taught that there’s never any dumb questions. I have purchased quite a few things in the past there. Their rudeness cost them a customer.

I was looking around at different thrift/consignment shops in the area and I always read the reviews on google before I go to see what people have to say. My goodness whoever has been responding to the reviews recently is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will not be going in because of that. Telling someone they are being “nit picky to make themselves feel better. That’s one way to get a bad name really quick. I would hate to walk in this shop and get told the rude things I’m seeing in these responses, especially since most (not all) of the negative reviews are simple comments that could be disregarded.

This is not a"Thrift" store in any way, shape, or form!. They offer good solid furniture, clothing, and all else in good condition and at a fair price.Okay -- Here it is. I needed a new recliner for my often-overworked back. Why Buy New had a nice selection. I found a Flexsteel recliner that was in good condition. I bought it for $265 and it is better at its age than the POS I just threw out as trash which I bought four years ago for $375 NEW!The choices are wide and the selections are of mostly good quality. As a consignment store they don't haggle much because of the set price the consignor is working from.The people are friendly and I was so impressed, I am thinking of buying a chest of drawers. They have a really nice selection of all kinds of furniture from modern to classics.

The prices here were incredibly expensive for what was there. Some things are vintage and its understandable how they can increase in price over the years but selling items that are only 5-10 years for retail or above retail price is ridiculous. Why buy new? More like why buy new when you can have it sit in someones house for a couple years and pay the same price as brand new.
