This is our favorite ice cream - “treat” shop in Chambersburg- good flavors, friendly staff, clean seating area- my favorite part of the Meadows is how visible they are in the community-Anthony is a goodwill ambassador of Chambersburg, always giving back-for years, the kids-regardless of schools receive reward cards occasionally handed out, events through the ymca and downtown outreach often have meadows available for all to enjoy. If looking for a business to support that keeps heart in the community, look no further- after ball game trips, school is out trips, gram and gramp are visiting trips, “it was a bad day let’s stop and get an Italian ice” trips…the meadows has it covered. They have a rewards point system as if the custard isn’t good enough- but above all, I love feeling that we are supporting a really great business that is there for the community through all seasons of life- keep up the great work and keep the turtle sundaes coming, a favorite of this house 😉

By far, one of my favorite places ever. Anytime we have a reason to celebrate, we pick up a custard cake from the Meadows. Who could pass by something this decadent? And yes, it tasted as amazing as it looked 😋

I really want to love this place. The frozen custard is great, as is the Italian ice. Unfortunately, price to value just isn’t there.This stuff is extremely expensive, and each time I’ve been there I’ve been served by teens who desperately need to be trained how to interact with customers (this is not their fault, but owners/management).If you want great custard/Italian ice and don’t care what it costs, this is the place to go.

Really delicious frozen custard and the prices whole not cheap aren't out of line with other similar offerings. The custard is always rich, creamy, and delicious and is made fresh throughout the day. They offer many different options with blended custards, sundaes, milkshakes and others. Good place for family dessert after dinner out.

Something just wasn’t right with the custard the other night. It was more like eating foam and the medium serving was more like a small size. Just comparing it to the one in Hagerstown, MD and Bedford, PA. Chambersburg Meadows needs to improve!!

My favorite ice cream place EVER! And that’s saying something because I’ve been to a LOT of ice cream places. I love trying the unique flavors they have that rotate every day — such a lovely idea. I also appreciate that I’m always greeted with a smile and receive excellent customer service. I’ve introduced Meadows to many of my friends, and it never disappoints. Go try it now!

Had the brownie sundae and my daughter had the cookie sundae. Extraordinary is the word to use. The brownie was warm and the vanilla custard complemented it perfectly. It even came with whip cream and a cherry. It was served with a smile too!

My all time favorite frozen treat is a Turtle Sundae. I order it at every ice cream/custard place I go to. If they don't offer it on their menu, I won't order anything, I figure no self-respecting ice cream/custard establishment wouldn't have one.That being said, I of course ordered one. It was absolutely delicious! The perfect ratio of caramel to hot fudge and the pecans were toasted and crunchy! The custard was velvety smooth yet not overly sweet.My turtle sundae was absolutely decadent !

Ice cream is good but extremely overpriced. $12 for 2 SMALL swirls. You can go anywhere else for cheaper and it’s just as good or better.Nice to see you can’t take criticism. Top of the line is a stretch…

Wow, Meadows Ice Cream! You guys do an amazing job! Your ice cream is absolutely delicious, and your service is wonderful. Although my younger brother, just to be funny, asked for your worst-tasting ice cream, the ice cream you recommended for worst-tasting still tasted pretty good. Thanks for humoring my little brother, and for your great service! I would definitely recommend you to anyone, and I will definitely be going back for more ice cream soon.

Meadows is a thing of great debate in my home. Some believe that real ice cream should be the only thing served. If you can see from my five-star reading I strongly disagree. I'm not going to argue that it's better for you because let's face it it's still a fattening dessert. But when it comes to unique flavors the Meadows takes the win. Check online for their calendar that shows the special flavors for each day. Not to mention their service is fast which is important since they're always busy. Also their staff is pleasant even though again, they're always busy. I would say that the fact they're always busy speaks for itself try them out.

Love this ice cream place. I usually like their black cherry vanilla, turtle, but regular chocolate and vanilla are very good and smooth too.The only unpleasant experience was when I bought the last ice cream cake for birthday. It's taste not fresh...maybe too long sat on the freezer. I just bought from the counter freezer, didn't ordered it. Service is good and quick.
