I love this supermarket! It's clean, well stocked, & the store clerks are very friendly and helpful. The produce is very nice. I called the store because I needed a motorized shopping cart due to my granddaughter being incapacitated. I spoke with a lovely young lady named Kayla, she instructed me to call upon arrival at the parking lot and she told me that a clerk would bring the motorized shopping cart to us. I was so happy & grateful for this, it made it so much easier for us. I really appreciate that this was done for us. The gentleman who brought the scooter was so nice and helpful. I'm so happy with this supermarket I drive about 20 minutes to another town but I don't care, it is worth my time to come shopping here.

I like it because of the convenient location and vast selection they carry. They even have an organic section here. Deli meat is always good and they let you sample it if you’re unsure of what to get. Salad bar is ok but they’re always out of something when I come. Hot bar area is ok sometimes but other times chicken tastes old. They have some really delicious bakery items though and the aisles are usually stocked up nicely. Self check out lines are usually really quick. Bathrooms and store is always clean when I come. The prices are a little high compared to other local grocery stores like Walmart but every now and then they do have good deals on stuff. Most of the employees are nice but I did encounter a really rude employee here today so not all of them are customer friendly unfortunately.

On Sunday the 26 of July 2020 at 830 am i Went down aisle number 5 and found a disgusting mess of old paper towels, trash, and even an old utility knife blade that had been under a shelf for many years. The shelf was moved over night and the mess was never cleaned up. I cant believe that in the middle of a pandemic the store doesnt care more about keeping there customers safe and the store clean. I will be driving 10 minutes further and hopefully find cleaner safer shopping else where.

More than 1 star because the store is clean and some of the employees I encounter when I’m in here are kind, but 3 stars instead of 5 because of 2 of those pick up Giant direct shoppers (?) have been very disrespectful. They don’t use manners when they’re passing by and bump you and had one lady decide she was going to stand in my way to get me to move from a spot I was grabbing stuff from. Giant on Norland has a better vibe overrall. Better employees, better options, better stock. Wayne Ave is just a last resort location

Very clean. Shelves made a few things difficult to find. I would like to see the cashiers smile a bit more, while mine was not rude, but he seemed almost expressionless. I really hope he has a good rest of his day.

Great customer service and a clean shopping environment that provides a wide variety of options.Using the Giant Pick up option has been a great experience. I get my order within 10 minutes and the associate is always professional and courteous. Keep up the great work!

It used to be our go to place. It's very busy these days. It is nearby. Love the pharmacy and I get stuff I don't see at other stores. Not a big fan of the meat. Just a little pricier than most imo. Nice organic selection as well as beer and wine. Mostly friendly employees. Online shopping is good when I used it.

Please do some due diligence and compare sizes and prices of the products with other stores. This inflation that we are dealing with is getting out of control.I would not be surprised to see the product sizes decreased to a new "large size"; just like what happened several years ago. 😳😳 Update 1/8/2024: Just bought 3 bags of sale item groceries. I paid almost $47.00 and didn't get a whole lot. I am guessing that people who have full carts of groceries must be paying $300 to $500. 😲😲

I love Giant! It is pricey compared to other places, but it's a great shopping experience. I really love the Giant Pickup feature. The other day I parked and checked in and it wasn't even a minute before an employee brought my order to my car. Very impressed with that.

I like going here due to their produce quality but I'm starting to realize they are a corporate grocery store operating as a small business organic. Third section of the stores portioned off for natural products. So the issue is corporate stores trying to convey small town organic morals. Not saying Giant can't have quality again that's why I go there. Butcher prices high because all they focus on is me and you get the very best of the best especially when it is local. Corporate stores like this cannot be the best at all products and price things as if they are the best. How can your meat be the same quality as the butcher that lives on the same block as me where the cow just died yesterday and it's his life passion as the butcher to make quality meats. So why is Giants meat price the same as his, where did this meat come from and how long did it take to get here. Stop reaching and stick to the foundations, quality at a fair price.

Last resort supermarket. I shop Aldi for the cheap basics, Save a Lot for the cheap meat on sale, the Hagerstown Darrell store for Filipino and Asian ingredients. I only go to Giant or Weis for special items. Giant is only convenient because it's across the street and sells beer. I will say it's a nice store, but I don't recommend shopping for your whole order there. There are way cheaper options in town if you know where to go and want to stretch your dollar.

I would have given no stars if possible. Went in and three handicapped scooters were out of order. This is an on going problem with both of the Giant stores in Chbg. I will be going to BJ’s from now on. Scooters are well maintained. No real price difference. Done with Giants
