Still being new to the area I researched carpet and flooring places. I found essis and sons have been around for a long time and multiple locations. Great selection and plenty in stock. My first visit talked to the warehouse supervisor. Then met Mike Smith flooring specialist. Great guy. Professional, courteous, non-judgmental about the situation. He personally came out to measure the room. I was comfortable to leave the door unlocked as I work alot. Just give him good directives for entrance light switches or if pets are there. The installer s were great. No debris left behind. MIKE will pass along the instructions to the crew. Superb job.

I have been going to Essis and Sons for many years now. This time was unique because I needed a whole new kitchen. After telling Mike, the owner, about my situation he took an afternoon to take me to another store that sold cabinets. He basically got me the flooring, the cabinets and the backsplash that I needed to complete the project. He even knew guys that could install everything for me in a timely manner. Everything came so quickly and my job got done ahead of schedule. Mike’s team and people worked very efficiently. I am very happy with their service and will always use them for my big projects! Thanks Mike and the rest of you guys for all your help!!!!

Can't even get a full quote from them & don't follow up, been trying to get flooring for almost a year now. We were in the store to pick out product out & they didn't show us trim. They only quoted us for the flooring cost & installation, later the salesperson texted me that my quote didn't include trim, disposal or moving our furniture. We were in the showroom why didn't they get it all taken care of when we were there?We've been shopping around & this place is the only one that hasn't even been able to get us a complete quote. Very disappointing because we need new floors.

We started coming here for our flooring supplies for a home we are renovating. Mike, the owner, and his staff have been extremely helpful, courteous, and going the extra mile. When we needed some additional grout for our flooring project Mike offered up a partially used container of exactly what we needed at a reduced price. When ordering some backsplash tile, be carefully inspected all the boxes to make sure everything was present. When we asked about ordering some adhesive and grout, again Mike offered us some grout and adhesive that they had in their stockroom at no cost. Never had any other home improvement establishment do this for us in all the many years we have been renovating homes. He had secured a long time customer. Also huge selection of carpets and flooring in showroom.

Walked into their showroom on a mission. We were having new furniture delivered in 3 days and decided to replace the carpet while we were at it. Found a high-quality carpet in a great complimentary color within 5 minutes. The owner quoted me a ball-park price on the spot with my general measurements. The same day, a sales rep visited to verify measurements in the two rooms I was shopping for. Actual price was almost spot-on to the initial quote! The installation team arrived the next morning. After removing the old carpet and padding, we discovered a major issue with the subfloor. (a bad transition causing an uneven floor that had annoyed me since moving in 2 years prior). The installer repaired the subfloor with a quickset and returned the next morning to continue the installation. After a few hours, our carpet was completely installed and the results were awesome! Smooth transition and a great feel. Definitely spring for the 1/2 inch padding. It makes a huge difference! I couldn't be happier! I will definitely use Essis & Sons next year when replacing the bedroom carpets! Great quality, great price, great service! Beat the local DIY box store price by 40% and they had an inferior product! The box store couldn't do it any sooner than a week out or more! My experience, from showroom to completed installation, took 3 days!

Very poor customer service. The salesperson actually scoffed and laughed at me when I told him the allowance our home builder gave us for carpeting (a very fair allowance) before showing me our TWO options. Go to Lowe's just up the road or better yet, A & A in Shippensburg where customer service is excellent and they are willing to work within your budget.
