I went into the store to return an Amazon item since it was listed as a Fedex option. All the employees had to do was scan it like they are ringing up an item, and 2 associates can't even manage this. The first lady acted like I asked them to run a 5K because they wouldn't even try. The second associate complained he didn't know where to scan. I ended up just dropping it off in a FedEx box down the road with no problems what so ever. Just go to the drop-off box..

Not crowded on a Saturday afternoon, which is good. More accessibility to stock because boxes of new stock blocking isles and shelves, which I encounter at many DG stores, we're not in my way. The store was clean and well stocked. Nice parking lot, no trash or potholes. Try this location.

Liked this Dollar General on Orchard road. Much nicer than the one near our home. Clean and neat. Went there because the store near us only had one of the 4 ft. Christmas trees on sale. I needed two for outside our front door. This store had a lot of them. Cashier was very friendly. Will return if I see something in their ad.

Love Dollar Generals, but this store is different. Every other isle is blocked and you can not get through the store without skipping the isle you want to go to. There are boxes stacked everywhere, large metal dollies full of stuff blocking every other isle and a dirty feel to it compared to other stores. They have sale signs up and when you check out, you are told they aren't on sale. The manager goes and checks the price and says they aren't on sale. You go to another store the same day, in the Chambersburg area and the item is on sale.

Dollar General on Orchard Drive on Chambersburg Pennsylvania, was pretty busy today. They have moved everything around so it's a new setup. Looks decent it is clean. You had a long line and one of the registers broke. But they got us through pretty fast with those good.

Found a few reasonably priced items but what took the cake was the 60 year supervisor who checked me out and blew up my balloons that we had to manually put the confetti in unbeknownst to us. We laughed the entire 30+ mins it took to blow up a dozen balloons. We taught each other tricks to get the job done along with making a huge mess with the confetti. The opportunity to turn lemons into lemonade with staff made for a pleasant time had by the both of us.

Dollar General on Orchard Drive in Chambersburg, Employee was very rude, complaining that too many customers were coming in and she wished they'd stop coming. That's fine I will take my business else where.

I used to love Dollar General. Since they've romodeled, it's been sloppy and unorganized, hard to get through the aisles, and difficult to find stuff. Prices have gone up, and they're discontinuing things that I used to go there for specifically....like my dogs' dental sticks. It's like walking into a Family Dollar, which I've never cared for.

Couldn't find only one thing on my list but the woman behind the cash register was VERY helpful in trying to find it. Turned out the store didn't have it. Been in this store a lot and everyone has always been helpful. Chambersburg, PA Orchard Drive that's the one

This Dollar store is one of the nicer ones in our area ! The staff are always friendly and are always busy when we go in . It is kept clean .

Great place to shop very reasonable with their prices and never ever had any issues if any of the Dollar generals. Sometimes it beats having to stop by the Walmart
