They seemed annoyed to have to received donations even though I brought quite a bit in a couple trash bags. When asking for a charitable donation receipt, it was just a generic receipt which had no identifying information. This is something that anybody could just grab from Staples. I wish I had taken to Goodwill instead. They actually have a form that identifies where you took things.UPDATE - As you can see from the review, they don't care and are quite callous. Any idiot or homeless guy on the street can write CVAS on a receipt. I could write CVAS on a receipt.

Store has some decent stuff but anything good is priced like an antique store. You can't get antique store/eBay prices in a thrift store. I get wanting to raise money for a good cause but that stuff will sit and no one will buy it.

Editing this after cooling down a bit. I was double charged for more than half my stuff but didn't notice until after they charged my card, a customer behind me had started a small conversation. I went back in and explained, even showed her the sign with the price on it, and was met with immediate denial. "I've always charged that since I started working here," so you've been double charging people for what could be years and that's supposed to comfort me? I said it was false advertising and she literally laughed at me. I was refused a refund four times because "I pay $3 or more for mine!" and "It would short my drawer!" If you choose to pay a bigger price for items NEW don't expect people to pay that used, especially during a pandemic. And if you're in retail, don't make a mistake and then refuse to fix it because it would look bad for you. I've never had these problems before but I've also never shopped here alone before today and I probably won't ever again. As someone who has worked in retail, people like this make it hard on everyone and promote bad stereotypes. "Karen" is a meme for a reason.

About 10 minutes before they close they won't let you in and when closing time is 2 minutes away they will tell at you to be at the cash register. This is not the first time family, friends, coworkers, and my self have been yelled (not asked) at to leave or reminded of the time. I understand that they have a closing time but it's not hard to ask people politely to check out. Large selection and great cause is why I didnt lower my review.

About a year ago, everything that was nice in the store, had a tag on it that said Item is sold. When I talked with the manager, she explained that all the things marked sold or hold were her's. That she had been there when they were donated and she wanted to purchase them as soon as they were donated. I thought the merchandise donated was for customers to purchase, so they could make money. If anything good was saved for the manager, that certainly is not what the people who donated the items had in mind.

After my old hot water kettle failed at work I searched for another one. New, they're $40! CVASTS set me up with a nice one for only $3! Thanks Ladies!!!

This place is awesome. We went there and got 2 bags crammed full for $19. Nice clothes, my husband got a very nice 2 piece designer suit for next to nothing. Will be returning

The air quality is horrible. They should be shut down or forced to remove the sicking odor. If there are animals still in there they have to endure the overwhelming odor from a hot candle pot they burn. It really is overwhelming. They dont get any fresh air and that is inhumane!

Me and a friend went there to look around and this awfully cranky lady yelled at us that they were closing after giving us no warning while we were already removing our stuff from the dressing rooms to put away. My friend then proceeded to grab her phone out of the dressing room at 4:59 which she had forgotten and the same lady screamed across the store, “WE ARE CLOSED IN CASE YOU DID NOT HEAR ME THE FIRST TIME.” As a retail associate for 3 years I found this extremely disrespectful and inappropriate. Especially since we were polite enough to put the items we had back in their places. I will not be returning unless to speak to a manager.

Always lots of items at good prices. Evevmagazines that are current. I like household items and furniture. Staff are pleasant and answer questions politely. I use my change to put th their donation box- every little bit help the animals!

Nice place. The 3 ladies working there yesterday went out of their way to answer all the questions I had about a couch I eventually purchased.I also like the fact that I am supporting the animal shelter when I make a purchase.

Good prices for a Thrift Store. I get a little irritated when thrift stores over price the stuff that was given to them for free. This one also has a nice variety, I nearly always find a treasure.

I love this place!! I always find something here... Sometimes practical, sometimes whimsical, sometimes it's exactly what I need... Add to that, the fact that I'm helping the kitties and puppies... I will continue to come here, especially now that I'm moving right around the corner!

I love their book selection in the back. Also the service is always friendly, and I can get almost any kitchen appliance there that I require.

They made us leave because we didn’t have on a mask, even though I said I was fully vaccinated and I could see other employees in the back without them on or down below their noses or mouth. The lady was incredibly rude!
