This was my first year ordering a Thanksgiving Turkey from here. Fresh and local turkey, never frozen. Have to say, the best turkey I have ever had! Their Apple Cider coating was so good. Along with their Prime Rib, I am making this Turkey my new family tradition!

I am a delivery driver for Kelchner's good products and decided to take lunch here after delivering them our products. And I can honestly say it was worth it.Walking around the store while waiting for my order I looked at all the products they offer and it's all good quality products. The meat they offer you can tell is good quality and would please anyone. It is a bit pricey but honestly now days nothing of good quality is cheep.The store is nice and clean and well organized. Easy to get in and out if you don't have time to burn but you could spend some time if just browsing. You don't have to take your food to go as they have a small area in the front where you can eat your lunch if desired.The sandwitch I got was very tasty and easy to eat while driving without making a mess. I ordered a turkey blt with a side of potato salad.If I were to make one minor gripe is just that the container of potato salad is too small... They should go up a size or two for an actual portion size. Otherwise nothing to complain about...Iv added pix of my food and of the inside of the store so you can see for yourself if it's worth a stop by.. in my opinion I'd say you'd be very happy to take my advise and swing by for a bite to eat or grab dinner for your family.

Everything is great quality at this market. We had lunch...stuffed bacon and cheddar burgers with fries and shopped for all of our favorire butcher items. They offer a large variety of sauces, desserts, side items, cheeses, breads, marinades, pasta, some veggies, and deli items icluding lunchmeat. A nice variety of good looking meats including steaks, chicken, burgers, different dogs, sausage, ribs, bacon, and chops. Lunch was excellent and everyone is very friendly. It is a little pricey but not out of line for any other butcher and the quality is top notch. I highly recommend this shop.

Started coming here about 6 months ago for top choice and prime beef cuts. All have been amazing. Had an issue with one cut one time and they handled it with the utmost customer service. Great experience. Highly recommend!

Excellent service today great prime roast they trimmed it and was right in my price range! I will definitely start getting my meats here they have many beautiful and unique food choices as well! First time in today, ended up ordering a slab of London broil to serve the family dinner and we have no leftovers. This steak was so tender, juicy and flavorful! Great customer service, asked for suggestion on how much to feed 6 and they were spot on. Had so many cool rubs, seasonings and even sides. Great spot to checkout and make a wonderful meal!!!!

The old guy who weighed up my steak and chicken behind the counter, looked upset that he had to work when I asked him for a pound of the marinated chicken he rolled his eyes and looked at me funny like how many pieces do I want, and then asked me how many do I want? I said, just a pound man you can give me a nice hefty breast. Thank you. It weighed 1.45 and he looked at me funny again and asked me if that’s ok. Before that happened the lady asked him if he was OK behind the counter and he said no obviously he was pissed off that he had to work he should go work somewhere else. This place has quality food and should have quality service as well. Guy definitely rubbed me the wrong way, they’re lucky they have good jambalaya or I’d never be coming back

It's been about two years that we've been purchasing meats (and much more) from the Meat House. I have never thought to express my praise through a much deserved review. The 4.7 average seems a little low to me (LOL). Our own personal experiences have been 5-star each and every time...even when I call on the phone. Their customer service is consistently exemplary, up to, and including, the owner when he's there. He can relay his experience with A5 wagyu, in Japan no less, to you. I've never been told no to any request. They are one of the true old school butcher shops of yesteryear, prioritizing customers' wants and needs. A varied, wide selection of quality meats and gourmet, yes, gourmet products. Tons of gourmet sauces and dressings, tons of rubs and spices for BBQing and other forms of cooking, wood pellets for grilling, exquisite in-house deli turkey, A5 Japanese wagyu steaks, bison, venison, wild boar, gator sausages, duck, ostrich, rabbit...need I say more? A couple of the standouts to me thus far have been their pre-rubbed St. Louis ribs and twice baked potatoes. But the pièce de résistance has been the marinated Brazilian steak tips!! My goodness! Those jawns was crazy (in my north Philly dialect and verbiage)!!! See, we love and appreciate quality food and customer service, since I work in food service, and am a cashier at my evening job. This place will have you excited and returning time and time again. Trust me/us.

Not only is there food delicious, but the people who work there go above and beyond to make your experience seamless. I ordered food for a party about a month ago. Once I got updated numbers I had to email in to decrease the size of my order. Within an hour of reaching out they responded with the updates and reimbursed my charges.I stopped in the store 2 days prior to the event to give them a heads up that the birthday boy would be the one picking up the order. I was throwing a surprise party for my husband but he thought it was our son's first birthday party. I told my husband to pick up the food around 11:45 but asked the meat house to keep him there until 12:15 so the surprise wouldn't be ruined. Not only did they play along with my story to keep him there, but when he ran out to waste time while he "waited" they called me to let me know he wasn't physically onsite in case he popped back to the house.All went well with the surprise and everyone commented on how delicious the food was. 10 out of 10 would recommend them to anyone else. Thank you for all your help Scott and team!

We had the bacon while visiting a friend's house. It was so great, we just had to stop here. Excellent service. Fantastic selection of fresh meats, prepared foods, gourmet cheeses, and everything you need to season and sauce. The meatball stromboli we picked up, was a perfect game time snack. Tender meatballs, flavorful mozzarella, crisp crust. The instructions on the package made prep so easy, the hubbie felt like a pro.2 years later and we are still loyal customers. Our vegetarian guest loved The Meat House southwest black bean burger. The Meat House is for everyone who appreciates quality ingredients!

This is my go to place for high quality cuts of meat. They have everything from standard chicken, beef and pork cuts to exotic meats like snake and camel. Their real value for me is in the the quality and selection of cuts that you typically can't get at a grocery - top choice and above. All the staff I've interacted with have been knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I've had. If you are a big into smoking/grilling, check out their carnivore club - it's the best deal you'll find out there.

Yes the prices are higher than many but you get what you pay for. The quality and selection are unmatched in my area. They also have a rotating stick of exotic meats that I like to try. Spices and pre-cooked entrees are also available.

Had the meat house cater my sons christening this past weekend. The food was delicious. I had never had their food but figured I would give it a shot. We ordered chicken fingers, Mac and cheese, grilled chicken and green beans. The service was great from the help of how much to order and reheating instructions. Highly recommend them!

Meat house seasoning is amazing on chicken and steak tips. I’ve also become a big fan of the Brazilian seasoning on both as well. Salmon has never disappointed. When I started smoking, the staff gave me some great advise and helped to make the experience great.

Outstanding service and selection. Quality products, primal cuts and knowledgeable staff. Anthony runs one of the best looking butcher shops I've ever seen. My daughter's had the quarter pound hot dogs and I had the blue cheese steak tips which was out of this world. Thanks again for the lovely lunch, if I had a cooler I would have left with more.. Oh and the chocolate caramel pretzels... Good God!

A little pricey, but amazing food. If I'm grilling for an event rather than a normal dinner, I'll get my food here. If you're nearby for lunch, they also have a great steak tip sandwich! It's my staple sandwich every time I visit- I can't get enough, and I'm picky with steak. Give it a try!!

Can’t speak for other locations but I’ve gone to this location twice. Maybe staff was having a bad day on both times, but the guys were rude, clearly in a bad mood and treated me like I was inconveniencing them.Overall nasty people and I won’t shop there again. Wegmans had better prices down the street, much more friendly butchers and locally sourced.

This place has amazing cuts of meat and the best sauces and rubs. Also, the tortilla chips they carry are my favorite. They aren’t too salty and they are thick enough to not fall apart in a dip! Love this place! Staff are always nice and knowledgeable.

February 2020I love this place and need to get back more often. Prices are a little high on some things but the selection of meats, cheeses, and other food items is outstanding and does not disappoint. This last visit I ordered the beef tips cheese steak and it was wonderful. Delicious au jour and tender meat, and the bread and cheese were perfect. We bought some sausage, cheese, olive oil, and salad dressings this last visit, and they were all delightful.
