Best Friends is our ultimate doggy destination! My German shepherd Moon is so excited to attend the day camp at Best Friends, he practically pulls me through the door. Moon has such a blast playing with his furry friends and the staff who clearly adore dogs, and always comes home happy and ready to conk out for a well-deserved nap. And thanks to the clean environment - NO doggy daycare funk!!We have also used Best Friends for longer stays, and Moon always comes back the same tired, happy pup. Knowing that he is having fun and being well cared for allows us to relax and enjoy our time away.

We love Best friends Chadds Ford! Our pup Josie loves her weekly play date and does really well in boarding (with the group play!). The staff is so kind and are so personable.

Best Friends Pet Hotel provides me a truly wonderful service. I have two cats that have separation anxiety from both me and each other, and I’m able to board them together without worrying. Best Friends Hotel grants me comfort and peace of mind every time I’ve left my cats with them. The staff are amazing— friendly, kind, capable, and willing to answer any question you may have. The quality of care paired with the affordability of this place will keep me a loyal patron forever. Our Golden Retriever, Zoey, is treated like family here. She attends the day camp regularly and has also been boarded at Best Friends. The staff is wonderful. There are monthly parties for the dogs in day camp which include pictures taken with the dogs dressed in that month’s theme. They also offer grooming services including a bath on the last day of boarding if desired. We appreciate the great care and friendly service provided at Best Friends!

Best Friends cares about your pet's needs and is willing to work with you to ensure your pet remains safe in their care.Brody has been going to Best Friends in Chaddsford Pa for over a year now and the changes i have seen in him are amazing. He is so excited to come to daycare. Once he is there Steve and Melissa treat Brody anazingly and Liz and Leah also are really great with Brody. My three-year-old Border Collie has been attending Best Friends Pet Hotel at Chadds Ford for over a year. We signed her up for the bronze package for a 6-day per month day camp. She loves the day camp and enjoys playing with other dogs in the large, fenced-in area. They also have themed parties for the pups and I really enjoy checking out the videos and photos on Facebook and Instagram for the parties.We also boarded her at the facility when we went on vacation for up to 10 days. During the day, she would play with other dogs at the day camp and spend the night at the indoor kennel. Her own sleeping area is quite large, even for a 40lb dog. Every time we picked her up at the end of the boarding period, she would get a bath and look clean and healthy.The manager and employees working there are all super friendly as well. We have tried two other pet hotels and day camps in the area in the past, and this one provides the best service and is reasonably priced.

Both of my dogs live to go to camp. Have gone to this Best Friends for 8 years. It is superbly managed and all employees treat every pet as their own. Would give them 10 stars if that were an option.

Beat Friends Chadds Ford is great. One of my dogs has been going to camp for 10 years and absolutely loves it. His little brother started going last year and loves it as well. The management and staff are wonderful.

From my experience not many cats lodged here but that's OK because they have time to spend with cats. It would be nice if they would make sure where the cats are held has less of a urine spell. Perhaps better ventilation would be helpful. Lastly, My impressions is Best Friends is mostly geared to dogs.

I have been using Best Friends for many years and have always been pleased with the staff and how my pets are handled and treated. Our old Jack Russell went there many times and the staff really seemed to love her, and paid such close attention to her needs, particularly as she was getting up in years. They still remember her fondly, even though she's been gone for over four years. Our young JRT has been going there several times per year for several years now and she is so happy when I drop her - she just can't wait to get in the door and greet the staff - and she's happy and healthy when I pick her up. The staff genuinely cares for the animals that stay there and they give detailed reports about every aspect of their visits. I was particularly concerned about boarding my eight year old cat who had never been to a kennel before. They coddled her, made her feel safe, and though it took a couple of days for her to get comfortable, she had a good visit, with lots of TLC! She seemed very content and relaxed when I picked her up and I would not hesitate to board her again at Best Friends. They do a great job grooming my dog and the grooming staff really seems to know and love my dog, as well. The dogs and cats have lots of room, their pens are kept very clean, and there are many different options and extras available, so you can have your pet's visit tailor made for them with group play, individual play, cuddle time, treats, etc. I would highly recommend Best Friends, Chadds Ford to any animal owner/lover.

Bekham my 107lbs German Shepherd 🐕 loves going to doggy camp and furry friends, and he absolutely loves the staffs there. The staff are all amazing with a big heart for animals.

This place is awful I’ve never been so furious. They shaved my Australian Shepard to the bone. They don’t know anything about dogs cause if they did they would know you never touch an Australian Shepard’s coat. There is something very wrong with them it’s disturbing. I had an beautiful Australian Shepard and they turned her into a laughing stock. Honestly disturbed and appalled. IT SAID IN THE DIRECTIONS DO NOT TOUCH THE COAT AND WE reiterated IT. WORST PLACE EVER

GroomingWe have had the best experience and results in taking our dogs to Val Wyatt @ Best Friends Chadds Ford over the past 15 years. We frequently are complimented on our Goldendoodle and asked where he is groomed. In addition, Val is great with the dogs and our dogs always are excited to see Val - which is the highest compliment. When our Golden Retriever was older and had mobility issues, Val went out of her way to see that he was groomed with minimal to any discomfort which says everything about Val's treatment for those in her care. I would take our dog to no one else!

Needed to find a place to get my pup groomed while in town visiting family! Stumbled upon Best Friends Pet Hotel and couldn’t be happier - I just wish I could have this place back home! Grooming session was super quick, easy and cheap! Cannot recommend enough if you’re in the area!

I chose Best Friends because it was on our way to and from the NJ beach. I made the reservation on line with no problem. I had to call and slightly change my reservation. No problem there. Check in was easy. Everyone was friendly and professional. When I came back to pick up my dog there was a picture of him playing on the TV there and they had a written report of how he did. He was clean and smelled good. Was surprised to find his first night's stay was free so the bill was less then I expected. All and all a 5 star experience. Will use them again and refer them to anyone who'll listen. Thanks.

My Lab goes to day camp three times a week and LOVES it. I can tell the staff genuinely values animals, and each and every one of them is AWESOME. I had a health emergency with my husband, and they gladly boarded Cam with no drama. He is the black Lab smiling in the picture!

I just recently boarded my kitten here last month, & was reminded how great it is! The cattery is in its own building, away from the dogs, so the kitties can have some quiet. Each cat condo has two large levels, each with its own window & a little shelf so the cats can sit & look out into the trees surrounding the property. Exactly what my cat was doing when I went to collect her at the end of her stay!

My Golden Retriever, Willow and I love Best Friends - Chadds Ford. Willow has stayed there over night and the staff was so friendly when I would call to check on her. I also use Best Friends for Doggie Day Camp. They have convenient packages for 1/2 day (6 hours and less) and full day. I just walk in and they know who we are and I can leave Willow with them while I run errands. Willow has a great time with her doggie and human friends and gets to expend some of her high energy. I also like the Doggie Cam that I can watch how Willow is doing from my phone or computer. ALSO - we have had Willow groomed at Best Friends - great job and so convenient! Thank you Best Friends!!

My dog loves going here and the people are usually friendly. However I would never take my dog here again after a recent grooming experience that they completely denied. My dog came home and we knew something was wrong with him. He wasn’t moving much and shaking. We thought he might have gotten sick or ate something and were ready to take him to an after hours vet. Thankfully, it took a while, but we finally saw that his paw was bloody and quickly realized his quick was cut way too short and he was in pain when they trimmed his nails. When this happens there is a lot of blood snd it’s painful for dogs. I completely understand that this can happen even with the most experienced groomers. I am not upset they did this. It’s the way it was handled. I sent a nice email just letting them know that we almost sent him to the ER until we realized and it would have been nice to know so we werent freaking out thinking he ate something/got sick and almost incurring a large vet bill. Also if they told us, we wouldn’t have walked him which probably made it worse. They called me after getting my email and completely denied it. All they needed to say was we are sorry we should have told you but it’s almost like the groomer did not want to admit it. They said my dog must have done it after he left or got it caught on something which is crazy they thought I’d believe it. It was a completely smooth clean cut across the nail where it was clipped too short with dried up blood. There was even blood on his collar when we picked him up and we knew after we figured it out that’s where it came from. Like I said, dogs bleed a lot and yelp when this happens so the groomer knew, but denied anything happening. So needless to say don’t get your dog groomed here. We loved the pet hotel but we simply don’t trust them anymore and Milo won’t be returning

Best Friends chadds ford feels more like family to us. My dog loves it here. Every time we drop him off for daycare he is so excited to play and leaves happy and exhausted. I feel very safe and comforted knowing my dog is in good hands and being taken care of. They have a lot fun with the dogs and are always doing activities. They are always taking pictures and posting on instagram. Bonus: they have cameras so I can watch at anytime. Best friends is the total package—we use them for grooming and the occasional boarding as well. Highly recommend 10/10 service and hard working people who love animals!
