People say about the prices in places like these but the employees work hard and deserve their pay and the convenience makes the price worthwhile to me. So as workingclass thank you to almost every Dollar general employee of I've met for being so positive, and thank you for charging me more money to take half my time because it's so worth it. Beats standing in line at Walmart when you have two kids and all you need is some house items and maybe some snacks

Considering it's our only place in town to do any local shopping now, what choice do we have to not love it? If you ever been there and had the "pleasure" of dealing with one particular worker, you will never forget you visited the in town Central City Dollar General Store!

Go to the other Dollar General in Central City. The manager is rude and unprofessional. Always an employee smoking in front of the store, also unprofessional. I felt very unwelcome moving to this town when I went here.

Might as well change the hours to closing before 9. Came in 15-20 minutes before closing and the doors were locked 🙄 not the first time either.

Sadly, it is the only venue left in this slowly dying coal camp. The folks inside are friendly, but the wares are just what you'd expect at a Dollar General.
