If I could I would give the review a zero I had to use the bathroom and it was disgusting the toilet almost overfilled I could not even see through the water there was a bottle that had no label. I couldn’t wash my hands because there was a bag in the sink and I did not want to touch it. Overall beware of the bathroom.

This store needs an over all change in management and employees. There a few good ones but most could not careless about the customers, checking out, keeping store clean or organized. The place is a train wreck. The self check out and point of sale system is absolutely garbage. Fortunately for this place it's the only place close. Went in today and gave up and left because the self check out didn't work, the employees walk by with no interest to help. No one will come to register. Weis had everything I needed.

Management is lacking. The store is a mess. The door is constantly broken (automatic).What about our handicap people? I am giving two stars in stead of one because a lot of these complaints are out of their control, plus to keep things nice and organized they need more help. I will say that the associates are the nicest bunch they have ever had. They are so quick and polite.Update- the quick staff is everyone except management. Which confounds me.

Very nice and clean place. Staff was very helpful. I had two issues. My son needed to use the bathroom but it was broken. I went there to get ice cream but their freezer was broken. Can't help those things but it happened.

This dollar general. NO!!! I've seen some bad dollar generals, this one was way un professional, very disorganized, floors where a mess shelves look like nothing clashed . Jus not a good experience for this location. I bet the bathrooms where closed cause they where jus nasty. Idk. I think it needs better management or better more motivated workers.

Super rude manager. Tried to use a manufacturer's coupon and was treated like a criminal. Over $1. Stay away from the Elysburg and Snydertown locations. They don't get enough foot traffic to practice their customer service skills!

Not the best dollar general in the area, but you can still usually find what you need here. The upkeep is poor but the employees have always been kind, even when they are being overrun by customers. Don't forget to clip those online coupons before you go!

Always clean . Stocked . The staff is wonderful have not went to any other dollar general since my first experience here . I spend over half my earnings at this store .

Walked in to use the restroom and grab some soda and snacks for my trip to knobels. Watch out for the manager Pam. She thinks using the bathroom is a privilege for employees only and insulted 2 kids I was with and insinuated that she would not let them go to the bathroom because they were joking who was going first. I'm not even joking. I work retail. Avoid this store at all costs!

My husband asked for 2 packs of Marlboro Red cigarettes which are the most common. He was given Marlboro special blend. He took a step outside and i said they aren't what you asked for. Took them back in an could not return them because he stepped outside store. Well i guess the clerk should know what she is selling. She sold them to him because she didnt have Marlboro Reds. They would not return them I had them call the manager Jen but she said that's their policy. So giving people the wrong item and then not letting them return them is their policy. I asked for the district manager number and the clerk gave me a bogus number for the district manager. Not a fan of that DOLLAR GENERAL!!!!

Store is trashed. Employees don't even try to keep aisles clear of shippers and freight carts, which makes it near impossible to shop. You can commonly find them gabbing or reading magazines.

Aisles are always cluttered and disorganized, finding a cashier turns into a game of hide and seek. Overall a poor place that could be much better with the proper management.

If a dumpster fire, a hot mess, and a gaggle of lazy people had an illegitimate child, this would be that illegitimate child.Poor service, place was a wreck. I found the employee sirting in the small room off the checkout area watching videos on her phone.

I personally enjoy buying from Dollar general because 9 times out of 10 they have what I'm looking for and for a decent price. I haven't had a problem yet with Dollar General besides the right price not being under an item one time.

This store is always a wreck. Also grand daughter ask to use restroom and they told her no. I no this is Catawissa but she is not from there so she does have manners.

That store in Catawissa is a pigs pen .You have people in there to work and get a pay check but evidently they aren't doing the job .There is merchandise sitting on the floor scattered all over and nothing is organizing at All
