Not too impressed with the service of the employees at this particular location. They seem cranky and bored when they're checking you out.Most of my salad I purchase at this location the lettuce has turned brown within a day. Their produce is a hit or miss. When you use it the first day, of course it is fresh but the celery and bell peppers turn bad within a few days. This shouldn't happen but it does so I rarely purchase those from here.Everything else, like their chicken and meats are great. Specialty section is awesome with different items each week. You can find some great things.

Decent grocery prices and selection. Don't expect to get everything here. I have yet to meet a friendly staff member here and dread any time I can't use self checkout since it doesn't accept cash or gift cards. Do yourself a favor and prepare to use self checkout only

I live three blocks away, but deferred to my Grocery store of past years. I read on line: ALDI was the place of destination for quality and a vast savings on produce, cheese, spices, can goods, and meat. I thought..."go see, try it". I'm a retired retail manager,....Paid my quarter for a shopping cart that refunds when you return the cart...smart....not one cart in the parking lot.I entered the store, Saltine Crackers $1.53, over $3 at my store; bag of Baby Carrots $.89 (save ???? $2 min)--are you kidding me; dozen of large eggs $1.53 (savings $1)--OMG; single Salad Bowl $2.89 (savings $1.60)--I'm loving it. A Blood Pressure Monitor $24.99--a reason to replace my existing. I don't recall what else-- 2.85oz bag of Jerky $3.19, Onion Powder $.99, Rice Cakes almost free...???I didn't need anything, but I wanted to see the store. THE PRICING CAPTURED ME!!! IT IS NOW MY SUPERMARKET OF CHOICE!!!! Please visit one...I BET YOU RETURN!!!

I live like 1 minute away from this Aldi they usually have everything you want and they have ALOT of deals. The workers are nice and if you have a problem they will help.

First - the store itself is beautiful and is well stocked - it is a strange floor layout coming to Carnegie from the three great stores in Pittsburgh especially the South Side.Long and short - there are just ONE OR TWO crabby hateful mean employees and one is a woman that when I complained about her being hateful and mean she said "YES because you are interrupting me doing a timed task!". I'm sorry so Aldi's has people with Aldi's shirts working in the store and I'm supposed to avoid those doing timed tasks HOW? How would I know I'm a customer. When she directed me to the manager who heard everything he prejudged me, listened carefully, and then said "I'm NOT going to allow YOU to treat MY employee like she is not a person" and then asked me to leave the store loud enough that everyone in the store could hear.This store has a problem with their employees being jerks to customers and the management at the store level is supporting and apparently encouraging their employees by doing nothing about their lack of concern helping customers and being terse jerks to customers. It's OK - be a jerk to customers your doing a timed task sweetie - there is no problem just keep being yourself babe.I am at a loss. The only apparent solution is to fire the jerk employees with cause and to replace or transfer the manager.

Always know what you are getting when shopping for groceries.All stores have pretty much the same layout so you know where to get your items.Produce is a hit or miss when it comes to lettuce and onions.They have the special aisle with deals for that week. Prices are reasonable as well.This location employees are not the friendliest. There's the self check out so it is easier to use. This will take over checking out with a person as it will be cheaper. Employee's should be nicer so they won't ruin it for future employees.

Edit-2023...so happy they opened the self checkouts. Makes my life so much easier!My only complaint about this Aldi is there is never enough registers open. Lines are always long. However employees are always polite

I haven't been to Aldi in awhile. Sunday is an insanely busy day it seems and it was not an enjoyable shopping experience. The staff have always been nice here and the shelves were stocked. No Red Bag Chicken or Green Bag Chicken though!! I will try shopping at Aldi again on a different day to see if it will be a more enjoyable experience.

Produce is okay, but Alot of workers dont seem to watch where they are going looking down at their technology equipment CONSTANTLY.. while standing out in the middle of aisles, Not one time did any of them bother to say excuse me or even look up to notice me or any other person standing nearby or trying to walk by then .. not once. . and at that, they pushing for cashless society with their new self checkout that ONLY accepts cards.. everything digital everything electronic that is the new norm.. cashier lady was rude, defensive and full of attitude and needs to do her research before making comments to customers and mind her OWN conversations!

Very inexpensive and lots less choice than Giant Eagle. That means it's much quicker than most places and I really don't need 100 choices of most things. The random stuff aisle always has some interesting stuff too

A nice location for Aldi, but that still does not make it great. Checkout lines often spill into the freezer isles. Products rotate often and without warning.Edit: This location has added self-checkout, which has much improved the congestion problems.

This was a home delivery. The delivery person was very helpful. I am partially disabled and she brought my groceries up three flights of stairs for me. I wish I had had some kind of cash tip to give to her. I hope that you will be recognized for her good service. Find out who it was

I’m VERY impressed with this store! Associates are attentive. One of them noticed my armful of groceries and immediately offered to get me a cart! The cashier was so polite and cheerful! The cart attendant greeted every customer coming in the door and ran out to grab people's carts so that they didn’t need to walk all the way back to the storefront! Even though we’re all wearing masks, I saw a smile on every associate’s face! Amazing customer service. I’ll be making this store my new go-to for groceries!

I love the convenience of the store, however, they're always out of the more popular items. For example, I love their Black Cherry Sparkling Water. It seems to be more popular than the Grape, Peach or Strawberry, however, the boxes only have maybe 1 or 2 bottles, but are flooded with the flavors. This week alone, I have been to the store 3 times and each time, there hasn't been any ground meat. Some of us who are disabled, rely on this store because it's close and convenient.

This store is always clean and well stocked. They often have items you can't find elsewhere. Well stocked and everyone is helpful. Fall reset is done now. Like all stores now prices have gone up, but still some of the best prices

Aldi as a concept is a beautiful thing. Generally healthier and more often natural foods and some home goods found at below average prices than Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s. The concrete floors, widespread warehouse-like layout, and big boxes of inventory on bigger stocking shelves make it reminiscent of a Costco or BJ’s Wholesale shopping environment.What’s not a beautiful thing is multiple cashiers on multiple counts who don’t say anything to you at all during the checkout process other than just the total.Being a cashier is not an easy job, but it can’t be too difficult to get in the habit of smiling, saying hello, “have a nice day”, or either of the three.

Nice size store. Very fresh produce, also fresh organic produce. Carts cost twenty five cents. You are refunded the twenty five cents when you return the cart. Prices are very reasonable. Parking lot is well maintained. Store is clean and organized. Cashiers are speedy an pleasant. Bring your own bags. Bought Maine lobster tails very good. Store accepts credit cards

This is my go-to Aldi's store. Not the most attractive location, but parking is easy and it is never too crowded. The store is set up like every other Aldi's so it is easy to navigate. The product is fresh and well displayed. I can find what I need easily. Bathroom is clean .Cashiers are efficient.

I have been a shopping fan of Aldi's for a number of years now. The selection is very good, the Customer service is outstanding and the prices are great. They may not be the largest food store, but they are the best!
