The beef jerky was amazing! I tried the teriyaki and sweet n sassy,did not disappoint. You can taste the smoke without it being overbearing and the flavors were on-point. Will be back on my next time through! Thanks again y’all! -the tow truck driver

This place is a joke. We took my son buck here and we only got 20 lbs of meat. The deer its self was about 100 lbs. I ask them if that was all the deer and they said yes... so we end up paying 116 dollars for 20 lbs..DO NOT RECOMMEND

You will pull up, get out of your car and want to vomit. I think they have some kind of septic issue and it smells, strongly, of sewage. This is right by the outdoor seating area. The jerky is overpriced and often almost too tough to chew. I also wasn't a huge fan of the meat sticks. For those to whom is matters, they use MSG. This could be a great little place... But it seems to have gone downhill in the past couple of years. I do appreciate that they are gun advocates.Also, we had party catered in 2021, we were told they would provide cutlery, so I didn't buy any. No cutlery, I am running around like a maniac trying to find enough forks to feed 40+ people. Was NOT happy about this.

Planned to make a meat haul back to Virginia today. Drove an hour out of my way to the shop. It was not open at 940 even though phone, Website and sign on the door said open at 9. Appeared to be people in back but none came to help. I must have poor luck, this was not the first time. Too bad , the meat is good.

Amazing Owners & Amazing Food. I cannot speak any higher of this company. They really bend over backwards to take care of their customers and ensure they have a good experience. They have the best homemade jerky around and in various flavors, a large variety of various smoked meats, homemade jams, jellys, and sauces...and how could i forget the old fashioned hard scoop ice creams...and the flavors...WOW!! I highly recommend the COTTON CANDY ICE CREAM FLAVOR....ITS PHENOMENAL! They also offer take out.

Great food, nice workers. Several flavors of jerky and the best chicken noodle soup I've ever had. Sandwiches are delicious as are the cuts of meat. Hot sausage is also delicious and I'm not a fan of sausage. The girls are always super friendly and take the time to ask how your day is going while they prepare your order. I don't know ow the owner but have heard great things about them from the locals. Just an exceptional business all around. If your within 20 miles make the trip one day for your meat purchase and grab a meal while your there. This place is in my top 3 go to businesses!!

I gave them a second chance after they failed to cure our bacon and our ham the previous year which they admitted to doing but made no effort to correct. The second chance, they turned our pig into sage and into hot Italian sausage against our requests. When brought to the attention of the owner, he replied: ‘I was busy and messed up. Is that what you wanted to hear?!?!”

First time here and definitely not disappointed. My husband and I live about 20 mins away and always drove past it and wanted to go.Got the family meal for $42. You get like 4 half pounds of different kinds of meat, four sides and 6 of either Hawaiian rolls or cornbread. Also got the brisket nachos. I feel like maybe for $42 it could have been like atleast a pound of each vs half but still good.We got Mac and cheese x2, potato salad and the hashbrown casserole. All the sides were delicious except not a huge fan of the hasbrown casserole. Kind of bland. The Mac and cheese was delicious though! Got half Hawaiian bread and half corn bread. Oh my God, that corn bread was pillowy soft and so good!!The variety of meat was amazing! The chicken stayed moist and had really good flavor. Didn't even need the yummy BBQ sauce. The nachos were excellent!We will definitely be back! Next time we will try the burgers and other various things on their menu. Yum!

Regrettably we did not have a good experience with having our dear butchered this year. We killed a doe in Muzzleloader season on October 15th and took it to have it processed, after 3 weeks I contacted The Smokehouse on November 5th and the deer was finally ready. They said they were short-staffed and did not have time to get it processed even though I thought this is what they did for a living every day. To make a long story short the 5 lb of hillbilly beef sticks with hot pepper cheese smelled rotten and tasted horrible, we had to throw the whole thing away there was no possibility to even eat it. We will never take a deer back to them ever. Very slow and overpriced.

Food was excellent, ordered nachos and family BBQ dinner (cowboy beans reminded me of my mothers) wasnt a fan of the mac salad.. cornbread excellent.. The jerkey was amazing. I also ordered a couple meat packages while there. Been abt 2 weeks. I am so very anxious to receive. . Alas, not ready. I understand it takes awhile... but will definitely order from again!!

NICOLE and the STAFF here are amazimg, friendly great people. Even though I loved everyone of you ! The food here is AMAZING!! I have yet to taste one was thing! We were at a wedding when we first tasted the food. When my daughter was planning her wedding she had remembered the food/ caterers . So we called and everything from the first email to the last bite was Amazing!! Must try you won't be disappointed!

Ordered Cajun jerky with a deer my daughter harvested. Received jerky extremely salty and was not edible. Called 4 times and asked if they would make it right. I kept being told someone would call me back. That never happened. After over a months time I took jerky to their location. Daughters owner was rude and not customer friendly. "She asked what do you want me to do about it?"I will Never give them my business or recommend them to anyone. Not what I would expect from a small home town business. Extremely in satisfied easy to please customer....

Food is fantastic and the people are nice but they REALLY need to figure out their deliveries. Every single time I try to place a delivery order I get denied. Even after their worker said they would deliver(while making a delivery to someone else). It’s incredibly frustrating.

Stopped here on our way though. The food was sub par at best. All of the meat we ate was over cooked and dry, and none of the sides were enjoyable either.We won't be coming back for any more food from here.

I wouldn't recommend the grilled cheese sandwich as it was Texas toast with one piece of cheese. The salads looked good from a friends order, but did not help me on my lunch break. Not impressed.
