Generally i give places a decent rating because i know how it affects their business and the way people see them. However, i have been at the store twice in the last 2 weeks and the person at the register is a miserable person, zero people skills and they never have anyone to fill propane. I would HIGHLY suggest you get new people who can fill propane and treat people with respect and not look absolutely miserable everytime customers come in.Edit: i will not be contacting, i will travel the extra distance to a different store.

Your staff needs TRAINING! I went into this location today and one of the workers was standing near the door cursing at the top of his lungs. He saw me enter and kept right on spewing foul language. Had I not absolutely needed a small bag of a certain kind of dog food on a holiday, I would have turned around and left! Then, after I got the bag, he was walking along bad-mouthing his manager. I looked right at him, he stopped and said, "do you need something". I just walked away. What I needed was for him to act like a professional!I will say that the young man at the register was wonderful. He earned the one star you got here. Please, get your staff some training on professional behavior when customers are in the store.

I recently tried to order a grill off the tsc website for store delivery. On the day it was to arrive at store, it was abruptly canceled with only an explanation that it was not in stock. After the second cancellation, store employee David, personally called me to find a solution. He informed me that the warehouse had sent the wrong grill a second time in a row so he canceled it. However he researched and later called the Hanover store to see that they indeed had the grill I wanted, in stock, in the store. I had spent so much time researching which grill I wanted so it meant a lot to me that he nailed down one for me. Not only did David do that, but he then went above and beyond for me when he did not have to, and personally drove to the Hanover store for me and picked up the grill and brought it back to the carlisle store for me. Absolutely amazing customer service. You don’t get this good of service anywhere anymore. David absolutely deserves a raise and promotion! He sealed this sale for me because I was about to look elsewhere for what I wanted. Thank you thank you thank you! This meant so much to me!

-10 STAR! Wow! It seems like everything you buy from this locations is either used or damaged. Be careful & inspect your product inside out before you leave the store because it sure is an inconvenience to run back and forth to the store that no one cares about their customers.

Very good selection of field, garden, boot and my great granddaughter's favorite, lots of toy animals for her beautiful barn her pappy made for her. Also, the lady that waits on you is very helpful and pleasant.

The store is always stocked and changes with the seasons. They have the best prices on nuts and bolts. They are sold by the pound.

Very nice place with a lot of interesting and useful stuff. They have a nice selection of stock steel, for you metal workers out there (okay not as much as an actual steel supplier but I think more than other home improvement stores I've been to around here).

every other tractor supply store price matched rural king low prices but this one. i guess i will only be going to rural king now,, called the number below, not a thing that was done or explained. why ask to call ??? Glad rural king is only 30 min away

“Jenn” provided a very good friend of mine EXTRAORDINARY customer service the other day. Jean is 90 years old and like family to me and “Jenn” at Tractor Supply in Carlisle may have been only doing her job but she truly went above and beyond to make sure her purchase, shipment and assembly went very smoothly. This level of people skills is rare nowadays so it’s very important “Jenn” is recognized and acknowledged for a job well done!

I like all of the grain free options for my pet, but some prices are a little more then Chewy. However, it's ever only by $2 roughly and this was the greenies brand cat treats. Workers were polite and I was able to browse freely without being bothered.

I wanted some extra large barrel planters for my front yard. I was ready to purchase one that I saw at Ollies. At last thought, I checked Tractor Supply. They had ones almost identical to the ones I wanted(maybe even sturdier) and at the same price. You can only imagine my excitement when I realized they were an additional 20% off. I am so glad I checked Tractor Supply!!

Tractor Supply is hit or miss. They either have what you're looking for or they don't. The thing I don't like about them is that they don't sell replacement parts for the stuff they sell. Sure you Jimmy something up but it would just be nice to go in and find the part you're looking for and be done. Now most of the time, someone will help you figure it out, but there are those certain times where you get someone that tries to help but you can't help but think, are you from planet earth. Other than that, I think it's a great place and will continue shopping there, just have to be cautious about what I buy from here.

Super disappointed to see an ENTIRE cage of dead chicks laying face down in their own filth in this store this afternoon, on display for the world to see. When I told the cashier, she had no idea! I shop TSC regularly for my animals, and as an animal lover I’m afraid I may not be able to support this company seeing that this level of carelessness is going on. I’ll be looking into who to contact regarding this issue. I’m not interested in buying animal care products from a company who cannot even care for their own animals. Absolutely repulsive.

Good selection of tools, hardware priced by the pound (at prices roughly half to a third of the piece-wise prices at Home Depot/Lowes) and outdoor supplies, plus you can buy propane bottle refills by the gallon instead of paying a set price for a full 20lb recharge that you may not need.

I went there today (the first day of the Father's Day sale to purchase one of the picnic tables that they have advertised. They did not have any. There was a display model in the foyer, which I mentioned, and the cashier said someone had already reserved that one. I said, "well it is the first day of the sale! Did you get any on?" and she just sort of shook her head. She said "I don't know why they do that. They advertise horse feed on sale too and don't have that either." Must be a trend. Someone told me once that TSC stands for Tough Sh** Charlie, we just sold the last one. Must be the truth!

Way overpriced and staff did not ask if I needed help. Didn't seem aware of customers in store and when I was leaving no one said goodbye, and there was at least 3 employees by the cash register.
