April 24, 2024. Well I am not sure exactly why but my son was given some oddly dirty looks by someone working there as another person followed him around the store. My son is a clean cut, well dressed person of mixed ethnicity with more than enough personal cash. It's a shame to say, and I hate to think there is a issue other than one or two bad employees having some issue. But if this should happen again, I myself will be pursuing this to the fullest extent possible. Hopefully someone in management reads this and it goes no further. This is 2024 and not 1924.

Yes, some stuff is outdated and has Mold. But if you're going to sit there and say it's a Dollar Tree, that's a lie. They need to rename the dollar store. Because nothing there is a dollar anymore. I have been going to the store for years. And I've never paid over a $1.06 for anything. In this store, they are competing against 5 below. And they're saying they're not. That's a lie.Because how do you go from a 1.06 to a 1.25 to a 1.50 to $5 on things?

This is the WORST dollar tree I've ever been to. It wasn't the cleanest, the shelves were full of empty boxes, and things were all over the place. But the rudness of the staff was even worse than the unkept store. I know retail jobs, aren't always easy, but there was no excuse for the way they treat the customers. At one point my wife was at the end of an isle looking thru pens they have. And I guess a worker wanted to get thru with a cart. Instead of saying "Excuse me" like a normal person would, an employee named Sherry, said as loud as she could, "If this lady will move, I can get thru." NOT ONCE did she even say "Excuse me". Calling my wife "THIS LADY" is unexcusable. The unkempt store was off pointing, but the lack of normal politeness was actually mind blowing. I've never been to a store that the staff was so incredibly rude. The treatment really made shopping there a complete negative experience. I recommend going to the dollar general thats just across the parking lot. They say excuse me, please, and thank u there. My children are more polite than they way the workers were. And the workers are adults. Total negative experience all around.

Store is definitely a mess. Things all over. Hard to find lids that match the right Tupperware containers. But what more do you what for every items being $1.25? Always seems busy. A lot of cheap, seasonal/holiday crafts and decor.

Stocked up pretty good this time. Messy. Only one helpful and pleasant manager there.I feel like the nighttime manager is just there to take up space. She has issues. She is very miserable. She yells into that store screaming at everyone from about 8:20/8:55 that the store will be closing!! She is so distracting from me having a pleasant shopping experience! Just a very miserable person. One glance at her will put you off from asking a question! Miserable face on her. Her movements are slow and I only ever see her is from the time she gets on that loud speaker hollering out the time you have left to shop!! Seems she's always behind that door up by where the balloons are. She is extremely rude, and she looks annoyed at doing her basic duties. Outside smoking is the only time she seems semi normal, and that's because she looks like somebody off the street, finishing her cigarette before entering the store. She wears no name tag. I asked her her name once because she started arguing with a customer and I felt awful for the client (she was an older woman and had a hard time hearing). She snapped back replying you don't need to know my name! Umm, wow! Rude!I too am going to file a formal complaint with corporate as well! This is the same slovenly (manager) that has been mentioned recently on here. DT you may have had to change your store name, but I feel it's high time you change the people you appoint as your representatives of this particular store...

Not too much to say, this is your standard dollar tree where everything is a dollar. Shelves are usually well stocked and there is a wide and changing selection of seasonal items. Only negative experience is that at times there can be long lines due to a plethora of people in the store. Do yourself a favor and check thr parking lot to see how full they are. If you don't have the time skip until later when the parking lot isn't as full.

My absolute FAVORITE store in all of Carbondale! Everything here is $1.00 - occasionally if you catch it at the right time, there are a few items that could be as low as $0.50! Most people like to mock dollar store items - but here at Dollar Tree - not everything is made to break, tear or be called junk. Sure, there are a few - but you have to really look. I've gotten things here that are lasting for a couple of years already! You can get everything you need - from garden supplies, to holidays/seasonal, to food, laundry, bathroom, pets - and much more. There's even quite a few products that are name brands - which is awesome on its own! And the staff is exceptional here! My Mom and I are here quite often - and know just about everyone who works here - like Dave and Brandon who are the best! All the employees are always smiling, never in a foul mood, always willing to help you.I'll say 99.5% of the time - the place is fully stocked, the only times it's not is when there's a huge holiday like Christmas or Easter or Halloween. The employees work extra hard getting all the products restocked, for us customers.I love getting all of my DIY crafts here - there's so many things here to get creative with, and more to inspire! I can definitely vouch for this place when I say that this store is popular - yes it can be crowded at times, but I think just about everyone loves getting products for $1 - which makes this store amazing and well worth coming to!A couple suggestions: Put in more registers, expand the store so that they can have the refrigerators/freezers section, and maybe get a few more selections of products to help boost the store's popularity.Over all - this is place is amazing and it's so convenient. Definitely worth the five stars!

Dollar Tree has a selection of Holiday items even Christmas items. It is better to pick out what you like earlier . There's no guarantee they will have the same item in a few weeks. They have many its to choose from in many categories. They even had Disinfectant and Hand sanitizer . Pleasure to shop there.

Everytime you go into this store you have the extremely overweight lady with curly hair screaming and yelling at customers how many minutes you have till closing time rushing people out the store so tonight I spoke up about it because I've had enough of it and Jen says thats the job. So apparently the job is screaming and yelling at customers. I'll be filing a complaint with corporate as well. If your miserable because you have no education and dollar tree is the best you can do don't take it out in customers.

Love all the little things you can find. I routinely ship here for a 'Secret Sister' type thing, crafts for the kids, school supplies and love the assortment of holiday decorations. Also has animal stuff, hygeine, bath, beauty, dishes, cleaning and some candy and food. Workers are always friendly. Awesome story.

Always the bang for your buck, but out of cleanliness I have to say, there is always stuff on the floors, items thrown all over at times in which are damaged and either placed in random spots or strung across the floor. Other than that it's a great place to do some shopping.

I am not sure if it's new management or what..but the store looks like a tornado ran threw it. The floors where filthy with cardboard scraps and tags, box's in the isles. If I could post pics I could show the disaster I had seen today

OH My God! The people who work here are like lifelong Old Friends to everyone who comes into the store from town. Everyone is so incredibly sincerely sweet kind and caring. I don't know what we do without all of them! Really!

Store has everything, but that's just it. There's so much stuff and not enough store. It's a mess. Was able to get everything I needed with moderate amount of traffic.

This is the nastiest dollar tree I have ever been in. Garbage on the floor (carpet) items all over the floor. Its been this way even before Covid.

Mostly typical Dollar Tree. Does not have the same selection of the larger stores in Scranton and Dickson City. Has no frozen or refrigerated foods.
