My whole family loves Turtle Treat! My wife and I love the family owned feel and the throw back treats that remind us of childhood. The kids are currently obsessed with turtles which doesn’t hurt.This place is for soft serve custard and I have to say I’m a fan. It’s great soft serve and they have frozen ice and ice cream sandwiches as well which are fantastic. Do yourself a favor and look up the flavor of the week, some are fantastic and would be hard to find elsewhere.The owner kindly told me if I call ahead they will make a box of ice cream sandwiches with the flavor of the week… I think I’ll be taking them up on that offer for a special occasion!The kids always get the “kiddie” size which is just enough and served in a bowl or sugar cone. This is priced right at $2.I usually go for a waffle cone and even the medium is more than enough and I’m a heavy eater.Wife goes ham and gets the Sunday with whatever treats she is craving for the day. Can’t go wrong!The staff is super friendly always. I really have no complaints!

Since coming under new ownership there have been so many improvements to Turtle Twist. Staying open year round with the option to pick up dinner from Salt N Pepper at the same location is a welcome change. In addition all of the various options that they have added to the menu including seasonal offerings and bubble tea really helps to find something that everyone likes. Their willingness to try new things and think outside the box to continue to grow and expand their business such as adding morning coffee is really appealing and meets the needs of the local community. Tam and Kelly are always there to greet the customers and are always so pleasant.

Fantastic family-owned ice cream shop located right in Canonsburg. Great variety of options like twisters, shakes, cones, and Italian ice. Clean seating area, plenty of parking, and friendly staff!

I like this place because they serve more of a custard than just ice cream. Custard is smoother and generally has egg in it.This whole stand used to live in Lake Chautauqua near Erie Pa. The owner bought the building and moved it here some years ago. Ive been here several times and always a good experience. Friendly helpful employees really make the whole experience 100%.

A custard twist cone was just the thing on a hot afternoon! My only suggestion is to put more chocolate in the chocolate custard. Both flavors tasted like vanilla.

Great family owned business, friendly workers, great variety of menu items. The custard pies are amazing, love that you can get quarts to go along with ice cream sandwiches. Would recommend to anyone looking for a refreshing treat

Me and my dog decided to try Twisted Turtle. We heard it was good from a friend. Wasn’t disappointed. I got the Pistachio Nut. It was delicious! Penny got a vanilla kiddie cup. Twisted Turtle is now Penny approved! Can’t wait to go back. 😋

Best Italian ice around. Highly recommend the Italian turtle. Super convenient drive thru.Ice cream is custard, which you may not be a fan of. But, it goes perfect with the Italian ice. Far superior than that "other" Italian ice place in my opinion

The building itself makes this a fun trip. The patio with umbrellas makes a nice spot to sit and eat. The custard is like super creamy ice cream. I thought the price was fine but the chocolate was not very chocolaty, and we expected more flavors from a stand alone place, that’s my only complaint. they do have Italian ice and slushees too. The new flavors each week are fun and my daughter said the toasted coconut was tasty.

From the iconic building to the unique flavors turtle twist is worth your time! The custard was really good. Such a fun place for the kids on a hot summer day. The staff was nice, and really sweet with our kids. Small parking lot and a few tables outside. Also convenient drive through.

Ice cream was delicious! The cake batter (blizzard) was awesome but the chocolate on the vanilla dip was gross. It was almost like the chocolate didn't stick or was too waxy. It was see through and very poor flavor.

Refreshing soft serve custard! This was our super fast alternative to a really long wait at Sarris and it hit the spot! Mine was chocolate on a waffle cone. Good portions. Drive thru speed was impressive and very friendly at the window. This is your parental "Thank You!" for saving our special treat night for our kiddos!

What they have on offer is absolutely delicious. But unfortunately the building needs updated desperately. And if I'm to judge the inside (can't see it) based on the outside... It must not be very pretty. Either way, great custard and shakes, would recommend.
