The Pharmacist was extremely impolite while handling my transaction, she did not explain the medication to me,😐(I have never taken this medication before and have no idea of the reactions)... I had to make it a point that I wanted to purchase the oils on the counter next to my prescription, as she snidely said yes she then basically threw my change at me. (My daughter was even disturbed enough she brought it up as we were walking out)Her behavior was Very odd because she just before me was extremely kind to the gentleman, smiling, telling him about the medicine & answering his questions double checking on the medication.This isn't professional behavior. She is in the service industry, do they not learn how to communicate respectfully?I just had major surgery and I didn't need this today. I was nothing but kind. People like her are why I will take my business elsewhere. It's not worth being treated poorly there are tons of pharmacies!!!! I'll be sure to tell all my friends and family in canonsburg...and my extension is far and wide(✨✨✨To be clear the Tech was amazing! She was more than kind and helpful) this is directly speaking to the brown chin length haired female pharmacist.

This Rite Aid is a lovely little store. The store associates are very friendly and helpful and its location in the centre of Canonsburg makes it a staple shopping destination for the locals who don’t have transportation.

I am new to the area and the associates in the pharmacy made me feel welcome and took quick care of the issue that my refill went to my old Rite Aid location. They are friendly and caring. They are being remodeled in this store but are keeping things clean and well-stocked.

Hmmmm...where to start with this debacle? How about the beginning. My wife and I scheduled our Moderna boosters back to back. Initially, all was well. We received confirmation within minutes on both phone and email. Then it began...Along with the confirmation, I was instructed to fill out forms online prior to the appointment. These always get me a little tossed as typically, I get all of my services through the VA. Semper Fi. In any case, the forms didn't work. Not on my android, PC, nor my wife's Mac. As I mentioned, wanting to ensure everything went okay, I called the pharmacy immediately so that I could complete the forms prior to the appointment. After wading through the waves of automated messages, I finally got through to the pharmacy. It rang off the hook. I tried four more times before calling it a day, with the exact same results.I decided to just go down there, in person, and see if I could get the forms ahead of time. The website says the store is open until 11:00 pm., pharmacy until 8:00 pm. Multi-tasking, I dropped a pick-up order to Big Fellas and figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. I arrived at the Rite Aid at 7:54 pm, EST only to be met by a locked door and new hours posted as 8:00 pm closing time. All righty then. I headed back home, Greek salad in hand.Yesterday, we received a message that the appointment would have to be rescheduled as the store had new Sunday hours and would close at 3:00 pm. Okay, I'll figure it out. Then, this morning, Saturday, I received an email and text message with a reminder of my appointment tomorrow at 4:00 pm. LOL. I almost made the call into the pharmacy, but you know what they say about repeating the same behaviors over and over again expecting different results? Well, at least what my therapist says.In any event, as much as it pains me as we pride ourselves in shopping local, we have rescheduled - except at the CVS in McMurray. Their online forms even worked correctly.

We normally only come here for the pharmacy; the pharmacy tech is wonderful and has called out errors in our prescriptions before. It shows he truly cares and isn't just filling orders. Seriously, after my interaction today, he is the only redeeming star in this review.I woke my sick 1.5 year old up and shuffled him into the car so we could drive the 10 blocks to grab his medicine at 8am. Well, surprise, the pharmacy doesn't open until 9am (but this is not listed anywhere that I saw). So, I let my son grab a toy truck and I approach the cashier to ask, I was given a somewhat rude, "9am. It's always an hour after the store, even on the weekends." Fine, but I still need to buy the truck. It rings up wrong and I start to say that there was a 25% off sticker when she interrupts, "well, do you have a card with us?" I stuttered a little because I was taken back by the response and said, "I do, but it's not that big of a deal."To which the cashier just begins to lay into the situation in front of her. I am in a tank top, sweatpants and moccasions. My child is in sweatpants and his sister's (aka huge) zip up hoodie that is wrapped around him instead of being zipped. We literally rolled out of bed solely to get this medicine. The cashier commented on his coat not being zipped, so I said, "yea, it's not" - most people would just stop but not today."You don't think he feels drafty?" (I ignored so she asked again)"We are literally running from the store to the car, it's not like we're hanging out outside.""When I was little, I just know you made sure the baby was bundled. And we rarely got sick."I just smiled and nodded, trying to disengage from this whole scenario. It wasn't even 8:15am."No socks either! No socks and no coat. Poor boy."Listen. Nothing gives anyone the right to comment on anyone else's parenting. Some families cannot afford winter coats and snow boots, and had that been our situation, on top of being upset about the interaction I'm sure I would be additionally upset by it being pointed out that we couldn't afford basic "luxuries." This is not the first time the employees have been rude or reeked of smoke at this place, but it will certainly be the last.Do yourself a favor and avoid the employee sass at this place. Just go to the Walgreen's or even Johnson's pharmacy. Literally anywhere else.
