A smaller hardware store but they have what you need for the every day maintenance of your home. Employees there are always polite. Also,help is easy to find. There is always some body around and if they aren't sure of your questions, they know who to ask. Getting in and out is usually quick. They carry quality brands and some harder to find items. They aren't set on only carrying "their" brand so selection on somethings, like paint primer, is better than big box stores.

I wasn't sure what parts needed replaced on an older low profile toilet and a gentleman not only helped me find the parts, he showed me how to install them too. Great service, clean store, friendly and knowledgeable workers. I highly recommend Miller's Ace Hardware.

Been coming here for years. Always a mixed experience. They try to provide something for everyone. But I always keep expectations low with this store. Recent visit - staff person literally rolled his eyes at my question. Fine by me. I simply ordered the part from another store on my phone while I stood in their checkout line.

These people are so helpful...ask anyone, and they will find the right person. I had to order materials, and they were fast, and kept me aware of the timing. This store is a pleasure to deal with... and their selections are great. There will be no disappointment here ...

The checkout experience is slow with one cashier answering the phone while customers are waiting in one line. Prices higher than big box stores and selection small. I guess they are trying to be your neighborhood store but the service is not adequate.

Stopped in yesterday to pick up a Toro snowblower. When I walked through the front door several employees gave an enthusiastically friendly greeting. Not something you see often anymore. They asked what I wanted, went to their stash of inventory and brought it out while the cashier quickly ran up the purchase. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The guy loaded it into the back seat of my truck with no assistance from me. Very impressed with the professionalism and eagerness to please a customer. Great shopping experience. Great employees.

For you local Canonsburg BBQ enthusiasts who may frequent this store may I suggest taking a little road trip north to the ACE Hardware in Wexford. My experience goes a little like this … saw the Weber performer grill I wanted as being available at the Miller Ace hardware in Mcmurray.. went there Friday afternoon didn’t see it displayed .. asked a employee they rudely said what we have is on the floor … so ok maybe I can get better service if I call and allow them to check inventory.. so did that Saturday.. phone call was handled rudely with the understanding they would call me back … no call back after waiting three hours … called Wexford location they enthusiastically said they had what I was looking for and an hour later I was driving home with my new grill as well as accessories and rubs and best yet a free bag of charcoal to get me going !! Also!!! This location puts the Miller Ace hardware to shame with the amount of accessories and rubs any serious BBQ aficionado would appreciate. Glad to know there are places that still practice proper customer service thanks for listening!

I like Miller's Ace Hardware.I purchased the Milwaukee hand dolly to help with the move I was doing and was shocked to find I chose to return it. The staircase made of wood where I moved to has 26 steps with a platform at 21st step. By the tenth step of the dolly working against me, I was ready to sling it across the planet out of frustration. I don't have time or energy for these shenanigans. When I would pull the dolly up and over the step, it would roll backwards to the back of that step and then you had to expend more energy to get it up and over that lip. This dolly stated it would hold up to 150 pounds. I had two boxes of canned foods weighing 25 pounds each on it. 50 pounds!Imagine more weight on it.Wheels should have been more helpful and the red brackets in the back seemed like they actually either added and helped gravity or were there to stabilize the wheels. The wheels were thin compared to what I was expecting for a dolly. This dolly is more for teachers or walking across a parking lot into a building with an elevator or escalator.I haven't returned many items to this store if it wasn't the first product.There was very little social distancing at 3:30-3:45pm and not many masks on customers. I had one on and approximately two other customers did.

I can ALWAYS find what I’m looking for here. One time a piece of brass to fix a camera stand. Another time a allen head screw for my motorcycle. A 7 foot aluminum ladder thats great! And a million other items. One stop for everything. Lots of parking in the lot and friendly super helpful employees. My stuff place for when i need stuff.

Always helpful, but ALWAYS BUSY. If you're in a hurry & only need an item or 2 & can get it somewhere else, I'd recommend that. However if you have questions & a few minutes to spare waiting in line, ABSOLUTELY GO TO ACE!!! The attitude of the employees is clearly evidence of a great working environment, & that rubs off on the customers.

The staff are always very helpful. This place has a very strange layout, though, with two buildings that aren't connected. You have to walk through one to get to the other. The main building has kind of a split level and a balcony, so finding things on your own can be nearly impossible. My advice would be to immediately ask someone when you walk in to help you find what you're looking for. How they know in the maze of the store is actually pretty impressive.

I needed to have supplies and directions for how to rewire a lamp. The clerk at the register knew exactly who to call. The man came out immediately, walked me back to the section where the supplies were, and help me pick out what I needed. I was back out in my car in less than 10 minutes. Excellent service, good prices, and very knowledgeable andfriendly staff . Highly recommended

Ordinarily I always support local businesses. But where do I start on this one?1. Downright rude customer service many, many times.2. Higher Prices than other stores3. Store never seems to be open when I need something4. And if I need five things, guaranteed they only have 3 of them.So I don't even bother anymore. I take the extra few minutes and go to Lowe's or HD straight away.

extremely friendly and home feel to the store. As well accommodating as friendly they let us bring our dog in (since we live only a couple doors down and walk) and are very knowledgeable and eager to help you out finding something or explaining what you need.

We always prefer to shop local small businesses rather than impersonal huge conglomerates but Miller's Ace Hardware has a limited selection and the most frustrating thing of all is they send out discount coupons as incentives to visit however inorder to redeem any of them, one must jump through hoops to the point of frustration. And as you present the coupon to be discounted when paying at the check out register you'll often find it still doesn't qualify for any discount 🤔 Their hours are very inconvenient too!

Decent help if you go in there when someone older than 20 is working.Always helped me get what I needed and if they told me wrong the first time (which does happen), they do take care of me to rectify it.If you want to call them and ask if they have something in stock, don't bother. Seventy percent of the time you will be left on hold for 5 to 10 minutes. Then when you do show up to the store you'll see several employees not doing anything at all.

I stopped by here looking for an obscure plumbing price. They didn't have it but we're able to reserve it for me at one of their other nearby stores. The staff was beyond helpful and the store is bigger than it looks from the outside. I typically shop at the big box stores but I will be back.

I purchased a Stihl backpack blower from Chris and he went through step by step on starting the backpack blower, what fuel to use and explained how to store it, Chris made the purchase of the blower very easy and informed me that they can also work on the blower if it needs anything, I also purchased the chest strap and the hip strap that Chris said it would make the backpack blower much more comfortable, great purchase and Chris was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with, Gary Fender

This store has absolutely everything. I was able to totally re engineer my father in laws plumbing with all new pipe fittings from here. They really have the odd fittings and such you will need. Also, they rent out a large variety of machinery and tools.

First time being at this store *Tried calling about renting something, was on hold for over 20 minutes, no one ever answered. So I drove 20 mins to the store. Was told the equipment would work for what I was doing, well it most certainly did not. Drove back to the store to wait well over 25 mins for someone to help. Their were many employees just walking around, I went to the front to let them know I've been waiting as well as there were 2 others that were there over 10 mins before I was. Still waited another ten mins after that. Was not impressed at all.

Closes at 7:00 not open on Wednesdays and you can't return things to other Ace hardware stores because they're independently owned. Other than that it's pretty decent store.

Called about items, they said they had them and would set them aside for me. Had to wait in line outside of store.(only few people in store at one time)got what I came for, waited in line got to casher, they would not take cash. Did not have my wallet. Why did they not say to me on phone or outside while waiting for 20 minutes or have signs posted that they are only excepting cards right now. Wasted an hour of my busy day. Won't go back there ever again. Poor management.
