Took me in as an emergency as we were about to travel to Connecticut. The guys were about to go to lunch but delayed it to take a roofing nail out of my tire. Al's Discount Tires never disappoint me! Prices are better than most other places like Firestone Complete Auto shops. I went by there on my out of town to drive on a very long trip. The Technician took care of me and checked/charged everything without asking. Highly Recommend!

I know it is called Al's but the owner is Don and he is a fantastic operator! They take old tires too for a small fee. He usually has a few people working at once so they are fast. He gets a good tire for a fair price and no rip off!

I was traveling 79 south headed back to NC after visiting my family. I hit something in the road and quickly started losing tire pressure. I stopped at a garage and was referred to Al's because they didn't have the tire I needed. I had nothing but exceptional service at Al's. I was traveling alone with my 8 yr old daughter and 12 yr old son so I was very nervous being in an unfamiliar area and not having my husband with me. They showed my kids some mind tricks with a spring and washer and several other things and joked around with us. It really put my mind at ease. I couldn't have asked for better service or better prices. If I lived closer, I would definitely be using them all of the time.

Very fast, reliable, and inexpensive service. Had a flat and I was almost sure I had to replace the tire (and I'm positive that if I took it anywhere else, that is exactly what they would have told me). But here, they patched it up in no time. I was there for no more than 20 minutes. Highly recommend.

Man these guys are amazing. I caught a flat on a family road trip from Atlanta somewhere in Virginia . And then my spare tire blew out in Pittsburgh needless to say I was pretty frantic I had my wife and four kids with me little money and no other spare. I was fortunate enough to break down 3 minutes away from Als and managed to make it there. The mechanic was one of the most efficient guys I've ever seen work and Don actually entertained my kids. If I had to guess I was in and out mounted paid and riding in 5 minutes. Wish I lived closer they would've earned themselves a loyal customer.

Called them today at 11:15AM to discuss getting a flat tire repaired - arrived at the shop 15 minutes later, they fixed the tire in 10 minutes, and I was out the door by 11:45AM. Price was $15.95. Will definitely be going back.

I found this place on accident when I realized Houston Tires had closed down. They didn't have the exact tires that I was looking for but they took my contact info and within an hour had contacted me informing me that they could have them within a day at the most. The pricing was comparable to anywhere else I'd checked and not having to deal with a chain has enough perks of its own. I highly recommend going here if you like dealing with local businesses.
