My family and I visited the resort on April 5, 2024 for the first time and I cannot say enough, because we absolutely loved it. The kids really enjoyed the stay here and were able to enjoy nature at its finest and they were not to excited about leaving though. The three cottages itself were very clean, spacious, comfortable and provided everything to make our stay extraordinary. Front desk staff was amazing, friendly and helpful to make our check in and checkout great. I will definitely be coming back here to enjoy the relaxing sound of the lake and some quiet time. I would highly recommend it.

We had our wedding at Magnolia Streamside in June 2023 and it was everything that we hoped for and more! The venue itself is naturally beautiful with a brand new pavilion to host your reception, a babbling creek running through the middle of the property, and a gorgeous outdoor chapel among the tall trees. Planning your wedding at Magnolia is a breeze thanks to their amazing coordinator, Cheyenne. From day 1, Cheyenne guided us throughout the planning process down to every little detail. She is extremely organized and personable, making it a joy to work with her leading up to the wedding weekend. Even better, she was with us in person for every event hosted on the Magnolia property and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly (which it did!). The chef at Magnolia did an incredible job with our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding reception dinner. We were able to customize our menu to our liking and everything came out delicious. We had our wedding party and close family members stay on the property at the cabins for a long weekend, which was so nice. Having the First Place Cafe down the street was super convenient for our guests staying for the weekend to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. At the end of each night, everyone settled in around a campfire. It was so magical. Can't wait to visit Magnolia for our first anniversary, the place is so special to my wife and I. Thanks to Cheyenne and the entire Magnolia staff for an unforgettable wedding weekend!

I ended up booking the place last minute due to a change of plans and was absolutely delighted by my stay. The cottages are very cozy, clean, and comfortable. I stayed in the Laurel Cottage which has an indoor fire place (with really good ventilation) that I thoroughly enjoyed reading by in the evening. The resort grounds are beautiful and serene. A stream runs through the resort and my deck overlooked it which made for a wonderful view as I enjoyed my morning coffee. There is also a great stocked trout pond that you can fish - catch and cook! Each cottage has a deck with a grill for outdoor cooking. They also have multiple outdoor fire pits if you want to enjoy an outdoor fire under the stars. If you want to wake up with a walk, they have a short but lovely hiking trail that follows the stream. The staff is incredible. Angela is the best! As it was my first stay, I had a lot of questions. She was super patient and helpful. I also enjoyed chatting with Rus, who maintains the place and helped me out after hours.I can't say enough good things about this place. Everything was truly great. I have already booked my next stay with friends and will probably end up coming here every year. The resort offers so much, that I feel you would have to come a few times for the full experience. There's a ton to do in the area and plenty of great places to eat a short drive away.In short, this place is a true gem. I highly, highly recommend it.Rooms: Clean, comfortable, and cozy.Nearby activities: A TON of stuff to do a short drive away. There are plenty of hiking trails and great fishing spots. There are two nearby shooting ranges. The front desk has a bunch of pamphlets of what you can do nearby.Food & drinks: Short drive away from a few good spots. They have everything from higher end dining to good pizza no more than a 15 minute drive away.

Great place to stay with a nice flowing stream on the property. Very close to a lot of restaurants and attractions. The price is good as well! The only negative is that you need to take your trash out before you check out but it's not a deal breaker.

My recent stay at Magnolia Streamside Resort was a wonderful escape into nature's embrace. It was my second visit here with friends and family, and the cottages felt beautifully decorated amidst the pristine surroundings. The accommodation surpassed expectations in cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetics. The stream view from the cottages was truly breathtaking, creating a soothing atmosphere throughout my stay. Disconnecting from daily life was effortless in this peaceful setting. The staff was exceptionally - attentive, accommodating, and genuinely focused on ensuring a pleasant experience. Magnolia Streamside Resort is an ideal place to disconnect from chaos and reconnect with nature and oneself. It's a great place to explore for peace, natural beauty, and meaningful connections.

Too be honest I did not know what to expect from this. A small retreat nestled in the hills of Pa at an affordable price and stunning views: Too good to be true.I doubted but was determined to have faith and hope for the best. When I tell you it was better than I ever could of imagine. The best part beyond all of the glory I had basked in was the hospitality of the hard working. dedicated caring staff that keeps the place in tip top shape and enhances the beauty of the place. Priceless. It was an honor to be able to say that I was a guest. If you happen to google this place or by way of ear hear of the good reviews and are considering it as a place to stay please do. Don't miss your opportunity to enjoy what life should truly be about. Being in the present moment and treating it a gift that it is.This is what I came to take away on my Vacay at Magnolia Streamside Resort. The Horn Family/Brookside. Thank youWalkability: there is some distance the walk is no more than 20 mins but the atmosphere and scenery makes the time seem less than.Food & drinks: Highly recommend Capri pizza in fantastic i would say it rival or even better than a tradition NYC pizz. By far the best me and my family have ever feasted upon.

My husband and I got married at Magnolia Streamside Resort in 2022 and we had an absolutely magical time. If you want a wedding venue with a professional and caring staff where you can spend ample time with your loved ones in a beautiful space while eating delicious food, this is definitely the space for you.All photos are courtesy of Lauren Driscoll Photography.*Venue*When you book at Magnolia, you’re booking out the entire venue for a weekend. This means you get a Friday night welcome dinner, a full day on Saturday (you can get ready there too!), and a Sunday brunch. Our friends all stayed at the cabins on-site, which meant they all got fairly affordable (and nice!) housing in a beautiful location, and everyone got to hang out with us the whole weekend. We even had a very low pressure afterparty with a bonfire, since our friends didn’t have to leave the venue when the reception ended. No “where should we go” or extra work to book out a separate bar for the afterparty, like you have at a traditional reception hall! We wanted as much time with our loved ones as possible, so this was key for us.Weather permitting, you can have your ceremony basically in the middle of the stream on a little island. There were birds chirping and flying overhead during our ceremony, which we loved. You also get a very light background noise of the stream during the ceremony, which adds to the fairytale forest atmosphere. Note that if you tour in early spring, you might be alarmed by how loud the stream is, but this generally only happens after very heavy rain or after the major snow melt that the Poconos usually sees in March. It quieted down substantially by our August wedding. You can also get a sound system in and be mic’d up for the ceremony (we chose to do this anyway so that folks in the back row could hear without us having to shout). The ceremony space has a standard “archway” that’s very charming, but the staff was kind enough to replace it with a four-post structure so that we could have a Jewish chuppah, so just know that that’s an option! The reception patio was built after we booked (we were expecting just a normal tent) and we were shocked at how nice it was. We got married in late summer and it was so lovely to be in a sturdy, protected structure but still have the summer breeze coming in. There’s great overhead lighting and there’s some decor already in the space that adds to the woodsy atmosphere. The patio is also attached to the main building, so there are two very nice indoor bathrooms available for wedding guests (although over half of our guests were staying on site, so many just went to their cabins that were only a few steps away!)*Staff*We ADORED working with Cheyenne (the venue’s onsite coordinator). She was one of the main reasons we booked with Magnolia over other venues in the area. She’s such a warm person and has extensive planning know-how. As someone who had never planned a wedding before, having Cheyenne around to offer advice and answer questions was such a godsend. There are so many things I wouldn’t have thought about if it wasn’t for her. She even talked to me about things that we’re totally not about the venue, like picking out perfume!Cheyenne actually gave birth to her first little one a week or so before our actual wedding date, but she had the entire wedding planned in such detail with us that she was able to easily hand everything off to the owner (the lovely Inna!) and everything went off totally without a hitch. That said, Cheyenne even showed up for our rehearsal and our actual ceremony to our surprise and eternal gratitude. We felt so taken care of the entire time and I can’t say enough good things about her.The rest of the staff at the venue was incredible as well. Everyone was so kind and we had a TON of fun with the bartenders over the course of the weekend.Food & drinks: We opted to use Magnolia to cater all three of our big events: a Friday night pizza dinner using a wood fired oven, a classic wedding buffet on Saturday, and a Sunday brunch. Across the board, the food was delicious, but the pizza was definitely a stand-out. Can’t recommend it enough! You can also see a picture of how thrilled my husband was with the pasta during the wedding itself.Noteworthy details: Venue had a BYO policy at the time that we booked and I know purchasing, transporting, and carrying all the alcohol and mixers for a full weekend is a big project. The good news is: alcohol purchased in PA liquor stores can be returned as long as it’s unopened. It was a little extra work, but ultimately we wound up saving a LOT of money because the bartenders did a great job making sure a bottle was finished before they opened a new one.

Upon arriving here all the life stress was gone! The sound of the stream was absolutely relaxing. We stayed for just two nights but we could stay for two years! Definitely a place to go back. Ina made us feel like home. Thanks!Nearby activities: Short driving distance to a major Ski Resort. Local businesses have a lot to offer as diverse culinary offers, antique shops, and artisanal items.Noteworthy details: The stream and pond right on the hotel property are just magical!

There aren't enough positive things to say about Magnolia Streamside Resort, their power-house of a coordinator Cheyenne, and the rest of their service staff. Upon our first visit, we sat down to chat before walking through and immediately clicked with Cheyenne. After a few minutes of seeing the outdoor ceremony space, and taking in the calming stream-side and lake setting, we asked to see the contract and ended up signing on the spot. Throughout the entire planning process, Cheyenne was attentive and helpful (her planning doc keeps everything so accessible and organized), and come the weekend of our wedding, she went above and beyond. The food all weekend was amazing, the bartenders and servers were pleasant and efficient, and we truly couldn't have been more pleased with how our entire weekend turned out. Finding vendors you trust can be hard, but we never had to second guess Magnolia. It was so clear that Cheyenne really cared about us, our families, and our guests, and I can't thank her & the rest of the Magnolia Team enough for making a stressful week so much easier for us. We can't wait to go back again next year and book a cabin for an anniversary weekend getaway in the most peaceful & special place!Rooms: The cabins are all so cute, cozy, and were clean and ready upon all of our guests' arrivals.Food & drinks: The food was great and we received a ton of compliments! We were able to customize the menu and really make the selections our own.

Quiet country, joyful stream, reflecting pond, rooster greetings, serene. Stayed in the comfortable Pine cabin. The heat under the bathroom towels made wonderfully toasty towels! Shopped at a local grocery store and made gluten-free breakfast and dinner in the cabin. Enjoyed local restaurants, nurseries, candy and candle stores. Magnolia Streamside's owners take great care to make this a healthy and rejuvenating natural place and it shows. On the Quote Board by the stream "Nature is always giving us examples, demonstrating why we should never give up." It is a special place in the Poconos.

Let me start off by saying the route once we reached Canadensis, PA was calming and an instantly relaxing scene especially when you're coming from the city hustle and bustle like we're use to.I mistakingly passed the location but called the office and was easily rerouted. The staff are very friendly, informative and accommodating so check-in went fast and smoothly. We forgot a few board games but they also have board games the guest can use if needed and firewood for the fire pit. The ambiance was very beautiful and pure in nature. We stayed in the Moss Cottage (which accommodates up to 10 guest) a total of seven of us and the rooms were spacious and the cottage was much larger than the pictures shown. The walk to our cottage had a bridge over-passing a beautiful creek with water continuously flowing and we all just stood quiet and listened to the wonderful sounds of nature. It was breath-taking to say the least. It was a very intimate but yet a very unique indoor/outdoor experience. We had a personal grill for burgers and a fire pit for hot cocoa and s'mores galore. Including an outdoor setup for eating and relaxing with family.I can honestly say our Thanksgiving was one of the best ever! The warmth of the fireplace and the huge dining table we all sat around and enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving meal and wine :) was memories we will never forget. If we needed anything from the stores, we were not far from the major stores (Walmart, ShopRite and etc.). They also have chickens you can feed if you'd like a little extra fun. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to visiting in the summer months soon. I want to thank Magnolia Streamside Resort Poconos for such an amazing experience. We greatly appreciate it.

There is so much riding on your wedding day and for all of us, high expectations to make the wedding day the "best day ever". When touring different venues in the Poconos (our desired destination wedding area), we immediately knew that Magnolia Streamside was our venue. It had everything we were looking for: classy rustic (how we themed our wedding), incredibly beautiful setting from the tiny waterfalls to the stream to the lake to the cabins, and a place that we could rent out entirely to have all our friends and family present and comfortable in their accommodations. Not to be disparaging to other Poconos venues but some of the other options felt like wedding machines - hosting multiple weddings on the same day, very transactional in their process, and not authentic in the setting. Cheyenne made everything easy - from booking the venue and date, figuring out the accommodations with all the cabins, determining the wedding, coordinating with vendors. It was everything we wanted and more. I can't put into words how beautiful our wedding week was - you can't choose a better venue in terms of vibe and natural beauty. The chapel is gorgeous, the cabins are incredibly gorgeous, the stream running through the property is just captivating, and the proximity to other things for guests was perfect. We had some guests that wanted to stay at the casino, others that booked an Air BnB because they brought their dog, and it all worked out perfectly. Did I mention the food? We didn't do any pre-wedding tastings but we were confident in what the weekend would look like because of the ongoing conversations with Cheyenne. She laid out all our options - the pros and cons of the choices, their flexibility in what we envisioned the menu to be, the customization of even the simplest things like dressings for the salad. I would be remise to mention that because we were there for the week leading up the wedding, we were witness to the Magnolia staff that worked tirelessly to make the property ready - the landscapers, the maintenance team, the front desk staff that were overly accommodating with linens, the owners that allowed me to print things like menus and place cards. If your vibe is like ours - the beauty of nature, disconnecting from high tech to really appreciate whatever your event is, a customized experience that stands alone (not competing with multiple other events on the same property), and incredibly tasty food (our guests still can't stop talking about the short ribs) - Magnolia is your only option in the Poconos. You will not regret it, guaranteed.

One of the things that I love about weddings is that they provide couples with the opportunity to let their event reflect what makes their love so special and unique. The BIG day should speak to who the couple are as individuals and as soon-to-be newlyweds.Venue tour, after venue tour, my husband and I began to become overwhelmed and exhausted. However, as soon as we arrived at Magnolia Streamside Resort, we were overcome with the feeling that this was it. Canadensis, PA’s hidden gem. From the moment we stepped into Magnolia Streamside, we had the mutual feeling of finding something special. And it was. The friendly staff, the inviting living spaces, and the feeling that mother nature was making room for us in this place, was magical. We were extremely happy with the venue and our bridal party enjoyed being able to spend our weekend with us in both a casual and formal setting! Pictures and words will never do this venue justice, VISIT. I cannot say it enough, go and visit.Of course, a wedding coordinator can make your planning experience miserable or they, like Cheyenne, can make it an absolute dream. Cheyenne from the start dove into helping us plan our perfect wedding before we even committed to the venue. Once we said yes, and really began our planning with her assistance, Cheyenne’s truly incredible talents shined. I cannot say enough about how helpful, informative, patient, friendly, and graceful she was with us. She also gave us her honesty, which was one of the most wonderful things about the process. She told us from her experiences what worked/didn’t work, and then provided help with making it happen or alternatives/solutions. Cheyenne also handled every unplanned scenario the day of our event with such professionalism and a “it’s taken care of” attitude. The first thing we heard from our guests post-event was how phenomenal she was throughout the entire wedding. We could not agree more. Just like Magnolia Streamside Resort as a venue, you will not understand from pictures and words Cheyenne’s remarkable skill, VISIT. I cannot say it enough, go and visit.Weddings really do go by fast. They are a fleeting moment in the span of a lifetime. However, our wedding weekend experience at Magnolia Streamside Resort (with obviously the help of Cheyenne) was a life-changing moment and our favorite moment ever. <3
