I never took my 17 year-old Chocolate Lab to their clinic, but sadly, his vet was closed when he suffered a seizure last week. When I explained the sad story to them, they invited me to bring him in. They helped me get him onto a cart & the doctor looked at him and agreed that he should not suffer anymore. It was a gentle passing as I rubbed his head & he fell asleep the last time. Thank you for inviting me to take as long as I needed, & for being there to prevent suffering. I really appreciate your caring attitude!

Yesterday, my wife and I brought my baby girl to Dr Bell. Our old vet had moved out of state and my wife and I had been looking for a new vet. Fortunately, for us, a relative (Linda) referred us to Dr Bell at Canadensis. Both my wife and I are very pleased and grateful to be here. And so is my baby girl. We will also be bringing our 2 boys and our cat here as well. It's a nice little family practice. Again, I couldn't be any more happier.

I went here a couple years back with my rabbit. This rabbit was my best friend, he slept with me, I potty trained him, cuddled up with me at night, just like cats and dogs do!My dog had bit his ear and he had an infection and they said if the huge bubble on his ear didn’t go down, to bring him back, they should have drained the infection the same day I brought him. He died 2 days later. He was only 4-5 months old. It is so hard to find a trusted vet due to this experience.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Canadensis Veterinary Clinic. I took our new puppy Baily there for her first visit. Dr Kathleen & staff (Danielle, Missy & Paulette) were thorough, informative, knowledgeable & just wonderful! It’s awesome to have such a pleasant experience & be greet with all the smiling faces after we lost our other Golden in June. They are definitely the best Vet in the Poconos thanks to the staff who make experience awesome some & I very glad that Dr Kathleen is following her Mother’s footsteps as an exceptional Veterinary. Thank you ladies Baily loved you all!

I love this clinic and have been using them for about 12 years. They are so friendly to us and good with the dogs. My dogs have have many different issues treated there including standard care, spaying, tumors removed, infections treated and dental work. Feel so lucky to have them here.

I showed up unannounced at opening time with my dog and a 8” stick impaled in his armpit he got while hunting in the nearby state forest. 2hrs from home and no real options otherwise, They took me right away and quickly got my dog the care and surgery he needed. They were great in keeping me informed to his progress and were very reasonable with the cost. They could have raked me over the coals if they wanted to but they were fair and I can’t thank them enough. I wish I lived closer they would be my primary vet for sure.

Dr. LaDuke is very compassionate and caring vet. She always gives so much attention to my dogs. She explains everything very throughly. Even when the news are not good, she delivers it the way that I can make peace as much as I don't want to. I highly recommend this clinic. Everybody is so nice and helpful. Thank you so much!

I came here for the first time about a month ago when my Cockatiel showed signs of being ill. The staff were amazing in treating him and when it came time to say goodbye they were so patient and kind. I've since transferred all of my pets here and have been so so happy with the level of care they receive. All of the staff are wonderful and obviously love and take great pride in what they do. At my previous vet I often felt like an annoyance and I hated that my pets were taken to a different room for their exams. Here they examine your pets in front of you and really explain everything. They have been so patient in working with me and I can't thank all of the staff enough!! They take a lot of my anxiety out of bringing my fur babies to the vet.

Very thankful for this clinic! I had to schedule an appointment for my cat and dog because we are moving to the UK, and they need health certificates.While there were some bumps in the road, Canadensis Vet helped me out so much. My appointment was accidentally scheduled with the wrong doctor (as a USDA accredited vet is the only one able to do certs), but the doctor came in for me anyways and my plans went through perfectly!My animals are currently on the way to Germany before they arrive to me in Manchester.Thank you for working through the miscommunications, and helping me get my babies to move with me! The staff is compassionate and very sweet. Twilight and Milkshake thank you!

Literally the best vets ever. Everyone that works there are so sweet, kind, and informative! These vets have improved my pets’ lives so much. Dr. Kat and Dr. Pat saved my kitty’s life after he had a urinary blockage that became an emergency, and they continue to provide life-saving treatment to my other kitty with lymphoma. The prices are amazing compared to ER pricing and NYC vet prices. They really do make you feel like family here 💜

Called us and gave us an apportionment and then called back saying that was someone else’s appointment. We called in June and they told us we’d have to wait until October to be put on a wait list. Now we’re on a wait list after they already gave us an appointment and took it back with zero estimate on how long we’re going to have to wait.Edit: Fortunately I was able to find another vet with an opening available. I will change my rating due to the appreciation for the owner who reached out to fix a mistake. Thank you.

My family and I really appreciated the vets and thier staff. They are thoughtful caring and display warmth as well as empathy toward our family. Our English black lab Bear had passed away after 13 years. They took his paw print for us and sent it as a gift along with a sympathy card. Everyone signed. My daughter was visiting from North Carolina, and her dog got injured. They saw her dog with no appointment. I'm happy to have them as we got a new puppy, and are confident as our vet.

Can’t be bothered to pick up the phone or return calls during their posted open hours. Tried calling Thursday, Friday, and Saturday ONLY during open hours according to this google listing. Called 5 times in total. Left messages on Friday and Saturday. No response. Don’t waste your time on someone who can’t even pick up the phone or return a call. EDIT: typical response I’d expect from a business ran by someone who just doesn’t care. When there’s a problem with your business or the way it’s being ran, blame the reviewer, right? Screenshots of a few of the call records attached to my review and I emailed them at the address they provided with the same. But I’m going to assume they will lie and say they never got the email. Bravo.I took my cat to Memorial Veterinary Hospital in Throop, PA. They answer the phone, have excellent vets, and saw her same day. I highly recommend them.

Not having time to see a so called new client even though we had used them before. We just became full time residents of PA and had been using them when we were up on weekends and during summer.. They said we might be able though to get on list as a new client in the fall. Yeah right, no thanks. My pet will probable be dead by then.A one star review is too good for you clowns

While camping in a near by spot, my dog got severely bitten by some sort of insect in multiple places, and she got swollen big time, fact that got me worried, and decided to go to a vet. After googling for vet places ( this was on a Sunday during memorial day weekend) I found Canadensis clinic. Just drove there, no phone call in advance or anything. On e I got there, the assistant received me, told her what the issue is, she loves ked at my pup, assured me that there's nothing serious, and prescribed me some medicine- with the help of the doctor which just finished a previous appointment. And the best part? They didn't charge me anything! I understand that it might get have been a minor thing ( the issue I went in for), but it's rare or even impossible to get this kind of treatment in NY - where I'm from. I hope you won't need their services but if you do or when you do, don't hesitate to go here. Great people, thank you.

During this pandemic, everyone, specifically Sarah makes the process of getting your animal in and checked out worked out so wonderfully. Although at this time no one is able to go inside, the staff is quite wonderful and my cat loves them! I will continue to go here forever!
