When the cashier's focus more on the guys lingering around instead of dealing with you, she didn't even look at me when she said "Have a nice day", I was floored! They need to be moved off the front end! Yes I have the ones name, date and time! They were giggling back and forth like children bc "guys" were walking past or moving around in front of them! CUSTOMER SERVICE LADIES, not your own personal circus! Appalled! Outside of this disgusting incident, very clean, fully stocked, easy to move through isles, assisted when we hit a call button!

I bought three bikes between this store an Harrisburg. Harrisburg I got the 1.The tires were half Inflated the reflectors were loose. They also didn't install the kick standkicks. Camphill on the other hand the bikes and kick stands were 110% perfect. Thank you camphill! I won't be going back to Harrisburg east again.

Bright and well-laid out store with a large variety of products. But if you need help, it's really hard to find someone to help you. No sense of urgency from the staff made what should have been a quick trip an excruciatingly long one.

Came out of the store with a smileWanted to have my bikes tire fixed and they gladly did it and offered useful suggestionsWanted to buy some braces and found a young guy who was really nice and helped me with exactly what I needed. Was surprised to see an young boy with a capability to empathize with a customer , identify what they need and Offer the the required help, and being nice.

There have been times in the past where customer service, especially in the shoe department, had been lacking.Today was not that day. Despite a very busy department, the staff was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. We asked some pointed questions that could have been difficult to answer if the people didn't care about their job (arch support, specific shoes for non-standard sports like Futsol) and the staff was resourceful and friendly.Sizing is an issue for some items, finding a Kids Medium in jackets was nearly impossible. Wish they'd stock more of the core sizing.

I don’t shop a lot at Dick’s anymore since they moved the store. But I do like bringing my golf clubs in for re-gripping. They do it in the spot for a reasonable price.

What a great job they did! Ordered a pair of golf shoes on line- they came in a timely manner- the problem was 2 different model shoes. Went to the store to return them - they checked to see if other stores had them - they did not- handled the return and re ordering of the new pair for me - great customer service - actually had the new pair the next day.

Absolutley horrible horrible service. We were there to buy all equipment we needed for newly finished basement for our new gym. We had an idea of all equipment that we were going to purchase which would have been about $4,000.00. No one wanted to help us. It was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. We will take our business somewhere else. We will not be back.

Just had a very poor experience with customer service. We bought a chair that recently broke. The person who 'helped' us was very rude. Even before looking for/at a receipt or the chair the first thing said was 'we don't do anything if it is outside the 60 day return period.' She didn't offer to look at anything, including our receipt and just kept saying the same thing over and over. It's ok that they couldn't help us because we were outside the return window, that I can accept. But there is no reason to treat a customer so rudely. The very least she could have said is 'sorry we can't help you', but that was too much, just a 'no'. Sad that I'm now going to think twice before shopping there again if they can't treat their customers with more friendliness.

Shopping for a bike, the lady was willing to answer my questions but her attitude was bad. Asked about their return policy and was told they had none, which I found strange. She was angry and unfriendly simultaneously. Decided I'd rather spend my money somewhere else and left the store. PS- The folks working in the shoe dept. were friendly, tho.

Nice large store with a lot of sports equipment and apparel. You can find almost everything you need for kids sports for school and the 'weekend warriors" needs also. They have a great selection of golf equipment, camping stuff, and weight training along with all most all sports. They also have a hunting area, but due to the Corperate stance on personal freedoms, we don't chose to buy anything in that department. Overall good stores , clean ,stocked , and helpful employees.

I was in the store for over 20mins without seeing an associate in any department offering help. I know during these times stores may be limited on staff, so I’ll maybe that’s the reason. I eventually had to ask the cashier for help and she was able to assist.

My husband called around tonight trying to find an Eagles Christmas sweater. When he called Dick’s he was told they did have them in stock. He drove over to find out that they do not have any. No associates apologized. In fact, they were asking who received a call- acting as if they didn’t believe he had even called. Poor customer service from one member of staff is forgivable, but followed by poor customer service from a team of staff is a pattern.

Had exactly what i wanted. One person helped me find its location, and another sales associate moved a display which allowed me greater access to the merchandise. Totally professional, couldn't do enough for me. I will definitely be back for future business.

Very well laid out store design with wide aisles different from the old Dick's off of the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg. Looking for regular gym shorts 100% cotton but could not find any like I purchased before from them. Other than that it seems like a well-stocked store.

Good sporting goods store at Capitol City Mall. All your sporting good brands as far as clothing, shoes, and accessories are available. They have boats, knives, camping gear, coolers, sports chairs, utility wagons, seasonal items like winter hats & gloves, even kiddie pools. The staff are great. They will recognize you the 2nd time you visit. Give them a try. One you buy you get coupons. They also have many sales. The store is very clean and uncluttered. Displays of clothing and shoes are eye popping bright in neon colors. Good deals on discound and clearance items with 70% off with an added bonus of taking another 5-10% more. People complain it's too expensive. The clothing however is of good quality and as I mentioned once you buy anything you get coupons every week. The sales people are friendly & helpful. Try it you will learn it's easy in and out.

While I was disheartened to hear the old Dick's Sporting Goods on the Pike would close. This location has been quite a replacement in my book. The extra space acquired moving here really helped in expanding their selection and modernizing the store's look instead of cramping things together. In addition, during one of my visits here I was charged the wrong price for an item and after noticing our cashier, Gretchen was all-in helping us resolve this issue and charge me the correct price for the item too!!!

Dick's Sporting Goods is a good store for your athletic and sports needs. Most sports are covered here, though some have more options than others. This isn't a negative, just the reality of all the sports out there. This store was well stocked, organized, and clean. I would recommend this store for your sports needs.

Great place to go for sports. I love how they do a sale every year before baseball starts fpr the schools you just tell them what team ypur child is on and what school they go to and you get 20 % off you total. Always clean and staffed with friendly employees

This was a good store they have "THE CAGE" where you can try out the bat you want, staff was friendly, I was on my way to a travel ball tournament and it was one of the only ones to have the turf shoes my boy needed for his picky feet.

Not much help on the floor. I was looking for hiking shorts and pants, but all they had was one little rack. As the name says they are really a sporting goods store not a full service outfitter. I down graded them for not having much help and because their womens sports wear is all geared to very fit 20 somethings -- short shorts, leggings and skimpy tops. Their womens clothing is also inconveniently organized by manufacturer as well, instead of by clothing type.

After finding out their politics I decided to not even bother going back in. Staff is snobby and makes you feel like you're annoying them. Everything they have there can be found online for wayyyy cheaper. Zero accountability in that dump.
