First time at a real groomer for my long haired dachshund. He is a very fine soft coat that they gave a great look to and a blueberry facial! Their coloring of pet fur is fun and artsy. Resident cats are pink and purple. Fun place, extremely clean and they care how they work on your pet.

We took our two kittens and our corgi here for the first time this week. Jen was absolutely fantastic with them and the environment was welcoming. Everyone we encountered during our visits was very pleasant. We are very pleased with how our pets turned out! We’re very thankful to have found a place that makes our pets feel comfortable, especially since it was the kittens first grooming. We will definitely be back!

I have a 1 year old mini dachshund that I adopted a few months ago who is TERRIFIED of people and hates leaving the house. Her nails had gotten long since I couldn’t find anyone who could work with her to clip them. She tucks her feet under her body and shakes if anyone tries to touch her paws. Our vet techs could clip them but not file them, and it was impossible getting into the office just for a nail trim. Thankfully, I was able to schedule an appointment with Jen at Compassionate Grooming.She did amazing with Jen! All of the staff are amazing - sometimes an extra hand is needed since my dog will literally try to throw herself off of the table. She even lets Jen dremmel her back nails with little resistance. We’re still working on the front paws! We’ve been back every other week and are making great progress towards short nails. I saw that people mention that it may be pricier here than anywhere else (though I think nail clips are very fairly priced), but the peace of mind and patience with my dog is so worth it. They have late appointments for those that work until 5 pm, which I am so appreciative for. I also love petting the salon kitties!

Due to a bad experience we had at a previous groomer, I've been looking around to find a new place to take our 1-year-old Soft Wheaten Terrier/Border Collie mix and stumbled across Compassionate Groom and Spa online. Everything that I read about them as well as the biographies of their 'compassionate' staff sounded like a perfect fit for our boy. He has a lot of energy and trying to brush him at home is a like a game, therefore very difficult to do. We brought him in looking a bit more 'scruffy' than we like. He also had developed quite a bit of matting due to his soft, long fur. Despite this, Julia did an excellent job! She sat down and listened to us prior to his appointment to understand what we were looking for and, when we returned to pick him up, he looked better than we had anticipated. We learned he was not the easiest to groom and had some anxieties that often can come with his 'terrier' breed, but they are more than willing to work with us again. They even offered some advice on what we can do to calm his nerves to make the best of his visits. We will be back! Thank you!!

It was very nice, the place is open and inviting. It’s comfortable for both pets and owners. The staff is very friendly and it’s not hard to see they are all great people but also their love for the animals. Even the difficult ones!

A HUGE shout out to Compassionate Groom and Spa! I had my furnace cleaned this morning I and the tech left soot from my oil furnace all over the basement floor. One of my cats promptly decided to roll in it and she was covered with oily black soot. I called Compassionate Groom and Spa and although I am not a current client of theirs, they got her right in and cleaned her up beautifully! I can't say enough good about those girls! You are the best!Thank you so much! 😻

This place is great! I trust them with my own pets, foster dogs, and the HOPE Dogs. I recommend this place to training clients all the time too! They’re patient, they care about your pet’s well being, will take the “difficult” dogs and won’t bat an eye at the bully breeds either! I’ve been a client for years and I will always bring my pets here!

We love this place. We take our sweet boy only here, because I really didn't like that other places lock your dog up in cages for hours. At Compassionate Groom and Spa they take him give him a bath and in about an hour we are on our way back home. It's easy to kill an hour in that area. They offer so many services if you are looking to really spoil your baby.

I have gone to Compassionate Groom & Spa for 3 years now, My Corgi, Luna, Gets groomed every 3 months by Michelle mostly, Bobbi, and most recently Julia. They're EXCEPTIONAL! Exceed ALL expectations, and also go above and beyond for their pets, and fur-parents, even letting you know if they see any physical abnormalities or health issues...10/10!100% Recommend!

I took my puppy to Compassionate Groom and Spa last week. He is a Bichon Frize who had never looked like one. He looked more like a poodle because of the way he had been trimmed. When I went to pick him up I was amazed! He was the most beautiful little puppy I had ever seen. Best of all he looked like a Bichon!! The grooming area is very clean and well-kept. Everyone there is very friendly. I have found a new place to take my puppy every 4 weeks.

Thoroughly enjoy taking my 3 dogs to this place for grooming services. It’s very easy to schedule (as long as you book far enough in advance) and I couldn’t say enough good things about the staff! They are professional and passionate about their love & care for animals. They even sent my one boy home with a picture of him! You will be paying top dollar for this place - but their services are worth it!

I wish I could have found this groomer 10 years ago when we brought our Husky home. I have tried several places and never liked the way they treated my dog. I arrived a little early and my husky was super comfortable. Bobbi took her time with my girl and explained everything in detail. My favorite part is they won't do something that will stress your pet out. The one on one care and love is something I have been looking for. We will be back for sure.

My double-layer coated chocolate lab was in desperate need of a bath, brush and aggressive de-shed and the team at Compassionate did a phenomenal job! Darla looks (and smells) so clean and her coat looks healthy and beautiful! I wish I could remember the name of who took care of Darla on 12/30, she was wonderful!

Our GSP was terrified when getting his nails trimmed. Our vet recommended Compassionate Grooming. Michele, one of the groomers, had us do several "meet and treats". Stopping by the shop, our scared pooch grew more comfortable with the experience. He still is a nervous Nelly, but he will not fight nor attempt to flee. We are now regulars.

This place does good work but are not very customer friendly. I had moved out of state due to some unfortunate circumstances. I didn’t confirm the appointment for a reason. I didn’t have the time to cancel the appointment. They are saying I have to pay a full grooming fee plus 8$ everyday until I pay them. They don’t care about your situation and only care about the money. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have this review deleted like the others

Michelle the owner has completely been harassing my business . She claims to be a Christian but is far from it. Google has taken her review down twice and she continues to repost and harass. Seeing from her reviews and her responses she is not a good person and I wouldn’t give her my business if she was the last person on earth. Michelle you should be ashamed of yourself. Find someone else to bully , God does not condole this behavior.*UPDATE*You are blatantly lying. Time stamp shows you reposting the review that has NOTHING to do with you. You seem to be someone who likes to target other businesses . I will not tolerate you harassing my shop and you should be imbarrassed of yourself. A good Christian woman would never behave this way. Please focus on your business and yourself and stop leaving reviews on businesses you have never stepped foot in. It’s called harassment by communication if you would like to look it up. Very anxious kitty had his nails clipped without any problems…. Quick and amazing. I would recommend this groomer. The place is cute and clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming. They even cleaned his carrier after he had an accident on the way there.

Everyone is caring and knowledgeable with and attentive with all the pets needs . I just love Michele! She helped us with our boy. He has separation anxiety and scared of other dogs. I stumbled on this place from a Google search, when the original place , I was at was closed, despite their website saying they were open. I am extremely, happy we ended up here.(My dog and I) Awesome friendly staff! They got us in and out very quickly! That's exactly what I was looking for. We had been told for years that our dog wouldn't tolerate clipping of nails. He was shaking nervously when the tech started. But he quickly settled down and was fine with the process. We will definitely be back.

We’ve been taking our pup here since they opened and absolutely love everyone - especially Irene! Our dog use to go to the vet to get her nails done and was deemed “vicious” because she snapped once when the tech cut her nails too short and she bled. Since that incident, they used a muzzle on her each time and made our pup fearful. The staff at compassionate care take the extra steps to ensure your pet is comfortable and as relaxed as possible. A much better experience for all of us and our girl gets one of their yummy cookies as a treat afterwards. Won’t ever go anywhere else!

We just had our 4th appointment with Irene. We went from thinking we'd have to sedate our 8 month old doodle puppy for grooming due to his fear and anxiety to starting to tolerate it with education and praise. At his last groomer he was gator rolling and now he stays on the table. It is also where the lick mat is. He now learning that grooming is safe. Little by slow he is getting better. The entire staff seem wonderful as well and like their name compassionate. Irene does not force grooming on him but is training him and us. We are so thankful to have be referred here.
