A lady with seven kids came in and placed her order… It included 7 ive cream cones… She had trouble getting her card to work and she couldn’t do it … the cashier offered to pay for it and then the boss lady came out and gave her the cones for free ❤️. How wonderful was that 👏🏻👏🏻Also, there’s a boy working there and he’s just as wonderful as can be. Always says hi and asks if we’re doing good and can he get us anything… love seeing him when we go in. His name is Alex

I have ordered from this California store many times and the food has always been good. Yesterday, 12/12/22, I ordered a chili dog, French fries and a blizzard for my mom. Mom lives 1/4 mile from the store, but she doesn't drive so Door Dash delivered. The hot dog was completely cold, the French fries were white and under-cooked, and the blizzard was separating into a strange consistency. She stirred the blizzard for a while and made it edible. Even the dog refused the chili dog and French fries. She had to throw them away. I am very disappointed.Update 12/13/22 Slow delivery doesn't doesn't explain white under-cooked French fries. Perhaps you could check to see who was working that day. The French fries need to be cooked longer. I did leave the same comments at Door Dash. Door Dash and Dairy Queen both need to be concerned about good service. I would hope you communicate with each other about fixing issues rather than just assigning blame.

We were here on vacation from California and stopped at this Dairy Queen a few times. The manager is a beautiful soul. She took time out of her busy work day to talk with my kids about their trip. And one night we called to make sure we would make it on time before closing and she told us to come on in, that she'd wait a few minutes. It was always a great experience and they are doing a great job there. Can't wait to be able to visit again!

We stopped in for ice cream and, for some reason, three orders of hot food t that were placed after we ordered came out first. Staff were kind and apologized for the wait, the restaurant was clean, and there's a little space for outdoor dining on the sidewalk. My ice cream was exactly what I'd been craving so as soon as the first bite hit I forgot all about the wait.

Been coming here on and off since I was a student at Cal U many years ago. I only order the ice cream but I do not recall ever having a poor experience. I think the service has gotten a little faster since they introduced the app. Ice cream is usually good and the establishment is a relatively easy walk if you are local to California or if you are somehow affiliated with Cal U and happen to be on campus.

Quick and reliable service every time I'm in here. They're usually not open very late but that's to be expected I suppose. Great to stop in on the way home if you're not working too too late. Haven't yet had a problem with the food or the ice cream and considering the speed of the service, that's to be commended.

Given the broad variety of selections available in practical considerations forced me to choose a single one. I was sorely tempted to pick chocolate, which I think wouldn't of let me down. But I settled on vanilla dipped in cherry, a amazing flavor that wouldn’t be sweet but just perfect. This Dairy queen is always on point and the best one around!

This place is awful! It wasn't clean. I wished at the counter for nearly 10 mins before anyone even came to ask my order.. The was food was the worst fast food I have eaten. My hamburger was red still and also somehow the most dry burger ever. The fries weren't even cooked all the way- I had to put them in my oven to finish cooking them. I never want to watch here again, and I won't.

It smelled like mop water in the ENTIRE restaurant and made me nauseous before even receiving our food or ice cream. Half of the restaurant doesn't appear to even be available for seating. It's not a big enough space to begin with. When we went to leave we walked down the opposite side that we came in. (as most places typically work). Just to find out, with our hands full of food of course, that the door was locked so you couldn't even get out on that side. They had no signs indicating that. We then had to walk back through the crowd of people waiting in line, with our food again, just to get back outside. I don't know if this is how a typical day is run here or if this was just our timing but it wasn't very pleasant unfortunately!

Better than campys and subway. Been going here on and off. The foods good 9/10ths of the time, depends who’s cooking. Funny staff, always makes me laugh and want to come back in. the managers cool, and staffs friendly/very attentive. Never had a problem yet.

This DQ is different from others (no movie sponsorships, Pepsi products instead of Coke, outdated dining room, etc.). That being said, food is cheaper than other, more modern DQs, but still tastes the same. My only complaint is that waits can get pretty long (for non-frozen items) when the store gets busy.

Store was really dirty. Our ice cream came fast. But others waited a long time for their stuff. Only 2 employees on a Saturday night.. wrong.....we will go to another DQ next time...

Awesome burgers, good fries, and ice cream make for an awesome summer time stop. Their interior was remodeled not long ago as well. The only issue I have is how loud their cooler units are!

The only reason that I still go to this Dairy Queen occasionally is because they keep alot of flavors and sauces after the other Dairy Queens discontinue them. That being said, I went to Dairy Queen earlier today and for the second time in about a week, they messed up my blizzard. They are also extremely slow Everytime that I go here, sometimes taking even a half hour just to get one order on a slow day. This Dairy Queen also has extremely frost bitten dilly bars almost every time that I go, it is like they never replace them. I will say as well, the staff is usually young high school or college students, and are often highly confused or left alone. This DQ needs some desperate management help.

Good service and good food, as you'd expect from DQ. But my search in Google was for a drive thru restaurant because I was in a hurry to get back home to Maryland.This restaurant does NOT have a drive thru!If you're not rushed, it's a great place for a snack and California is a very nice town to stretch your legs in... (also, there's a Pokestop at the church next door that is reachable from inside while you wait.)

Every Time I visit my order is never right ask for an extra salad dressing to be added got none not even a fork to eat with two kinves .ask for the luch spacial with strawberry sunday . No sunday when I stop its between clients don't have time to check shouldnt have to.

Ordered a large chocolate ice cream cone...DQ: We have twist?Me: You don't have chocolate?DQ: Well, it comes out runny and really slow.Me: So you can't do a chocolate cone?DQ: NoMe: NevermindNo notifications posted about this whatsoever, but they made sure there was a sign about how they don't participate in the free upside down blizzard promotion. Had to drive to Brownsville instead, where they had no issues with a simple chocolate cone. I should also note that there was no semblance of an apology offered during the transaction.
