Rick with Penn Fencing came out and quoted us. He was very friendly and professional. He gave us some ideas on gates (suggested a double gate) saying if we wanted to get equipment in our yard later down the line, it would be a good idea. We are very happy he made this suggestion. Within 4 weeks, they were installing our black aluminum fence. Bobby and Kyler installed. They were very friendly, professional, and did an amazing job. Our yard is extremely hard (basically shale underneath) and they got the job done. We also added an additional 4th gate at the last minute, and the guys were very accommodating and did not make an issue out of it. Really pleased with this company and its employees. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a fence.

We installed a beautiful fence for privacy in June 2023. Some of the posts became loose over the winter and it began to lean a little. It was under a 12-month warranty.We discovered it on a Sunday, spoke to Penn Fencing on Monday, had a visit on Tuesday, and it was repaired on Thursday.This is the most exceptional customer service we have experienced in several years.Penn Fence is a commendable company for standing behind their product and service guarantee. Thank you for being highly responsive. It was a relief that we did not have to go to any extremes to have the work done to correct the problem.

We recently had Penn Fencing out to our home to install some fencing. The initial meetings with the salesman were respectful, friendly and responsive. That experience quickly changed this past week my wife called me on my way home from work with some disappointing news about the start of our project. When I arrived home to view the fencing that was installed that day. I could not believe what I was seeing! Every panel and post was damaged over the entire roughly 200' they had installed that day. My driveway was sealed and repaired a few days Pryor to them arriving. They were the first people to walk on the newly sealed area. Zero effort was made to protect the driveway from damage as well as cleaning up the area. I called to speak to the manager about the issue we were having and to stop the installation of the fence. He was very insincere about what had happened at our home. When I explained to him about the damage to our driveway he asked me if I owned a hose. He said he would stop out maybe today our tomorrow to take a look. No surprise he has never showed up! They sent the the crew out to remove the entire damaged fence and clean up the mess. When I arrived home last evening there where still 2 posts remaining. I noticed that they had been spray painted to cover up the damage and scratches. however on the black fence posts the scratches stick out like a sore thumb. There contract clearly says they guarantee the fence to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. However they sent damaged fencing and installed it at my home. There only response's are do you own a hose, We should have never sent that out to be installed, Have no idea when we will refund you your money? maybe next week when the owner gets back and no idea for resolving the damages to my driveway or even offer . I had multiple estimates and they were not the cheapest. I chose them from there years in business and reviews as well as my initial consultation with their estimator. From there everything went down hill from management to the men they sent to install the fence. This is a sincere honest review of my interactions with this company.

Sundeana with Penn Fencing was awesome. She spent time explaining fencing options, cost, process and lead time. She was very patient and worked well with my sister and I to make the fence project come to fruition. Sundeana was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. She helped us save money too! The workers installing the fence worked hard and completed the fence in two days. They cleaned up well and did a great job. Now my sister's dog has a great fenced yard to play and explore. Penn Fencing did an excellent job taking care of our fencing requirements. Justin was clear on what we needed done and very fast on the estimate turnaround time. The team that built the fence came on time everyday and clearly had the expertise to put in the fence the way it was designed so it looks great. We had asked them to remove an old fence and it worked well. The fence is quite sturdy and looks great, i can't ask for more. Appreciate you guys.

Deck and Railing Manager Neal Jackson extended warranty on them to ten years, instead of one year.I accepted that.Would I use your company again - ABSOLUTELY!Maury Fey

I needed one almond 5x5 post cap to replace a cap installed about 15 years ago After trying several local places I came across Penn Fencing online. I was pleased to find their selection of post caps included exactly what I needed and of course, I ordered it. It arrived within two days. It fits perfectly and is the exact color match. In the attached picture the new cap is on the right. Great selection, great service, great price! Penn Fence will always be my first choice

Penn Fence sent Jessie out to repair my driveway gate. He replaced the sensor eye, installed a reflector and adjusted the chain. He is very knowledgeable and did a great job! I would highly recommend Jessie and Penn Fence. Jessie and a helper returned to raise the operator, move and adjust the chain. They did a great job! As stated above, I highly recommend Jessie and Penn Fence.

We had an old, heavy, and hideous wooden fence. It is now replaced with a sleek and beautiful chain link fence done by Penn Fencing. Dan and Justin came right on schedule and completed our fence in the prearranged time. They were professional, courteous, and efficient. When finished, they cleaned up the entire yard. We would highly recommend Penn Fencing and especially Dan and Justin for installation. They worked hard and we are extremely satisfied!

Only wish that there was better communication from the office about when my installation date was projected and return my calls. But the final product is exactly what I wanted. I ordered vinyl post sleeves and had them delivered to my home at a cost of $95+. I made a mistake the first time I ordered and called the next morning and corrected it. The woman I spoke with was very nice and helpful. When these arrived, they were not really what I wanted. They looked and felt cheaper than I had hoped, and I did not use them. I returned them at a cost of $225. (Their return instructions were simply an adress; they did not provide a label.) According to their website there also could be a restocking fee. While these vinyl post sleeves might be what some people want, I would suggest not ordering them unless you see them in person and know that is what you want. It was a costly mistake for me. There was nowhere near me that had anything like this, so I had to order and hope for the best. It did not work out well. Again, the one person I spoke to was very nice, but the product is not what I wanted, and I don't want someone else to make the same mistake I did.

We marked our piping and the worker still drilled through our brand new return line for our pool. Penn Fencing never offered a long term resolution to potential surrounding cement issues, Goodling pool company had to repair the piping issue Penn Fencing created. They destroyed our property, recklessly drove through my yard and our neighbors yard and even ran over our land marking post. Fence was full of mud once complete, shards of metal left around pool and they never came back to clean the mud piles left from the 1000's of gallons of pool water left behind from them drilling through the return line. Offered no discount and too boot could not even get the gate to latch (pic).

Two knowledgeable guys who responded to my questions by first listening, then responding. They adjusted and tweaked repairs hat were underway at my request (I'm fussy about details!) while staying completely cheerful. Then again I had brought ice water and home-baked cookies out to them as they worked. They went over and above straightening posts not technically identified as needing attention in the written estimate and kept up a cheerful banter between themselves throughout. Kinda of fun to listen to them through the screened window. They cleaned up our yard thoroughly and did some repairing of my river-rock-covered steep bank that held a post that needed replaced and cemented. I would hire these two guys all over again.

Original split rail with chain link interior fence was installed several years ago. It has aged well, but had a few spots in need of repair, including a yard access gate. Kyler and work crew came out on a day's notice and took their time to fix everything I needed. Price was fair given the need for good labor and hourly wage increases among many small employers. All around very satisfied.

Absolutely amazing experience! I contacted 18 contractors for estimates. Penn Fencing was the only company that wanted to come to the house to measure. With a project this large I appreciated that they wanted to measure and see the property in order to give an accurate estimate. Their estimator, Janine, was on time and knew her stuff! The installer, John arrived 4 weeks later as scheduled and had the best attitude. The time and attention to detail that he took installing the fence was incredible. My home has a horrible hill, but it was no match for him. I could not be happier with the new fence. The dogs are secure and it looks stunning! Thank You Penn Fencing!

I wonder why you only choose to respond to positive reviews? You can learn all you need to know about a company based on their responses to problems, which you seem to ignore. I’ve gotten a quote, been forgotten and ignored, and am now using another company. You spent zero dollars potentially acquiring me as a customer and your salesperson’s indifferent laziness cost you my business.

Had fence installed for my backyard in early 2021. Started off fine with a quote from the sales rep. Then ran into issues. Rep had to adjust the quote due to an error on his part, so cost increase…ok honest mistake. Scheduling was a nightmare. Could not get an install date. Penn would call day before they had an opening and ask if they could start next day. I wanted to be on-site, so day before notice took a couple months before we could make it work. I finally got squeezed in due to a late cancellation, that then came back online so my installers rotated between two jobs. That meant less staffing and lack of equipment on some days i.e. digging post holes by hand vs power equipment, which could effect quality. The install is sub contracted and the sub contractors run the show. If you have an install issue and call Penn Fencing they are hands off with the crew, so you are on your own to resolve with the supervisor of a company you didn’t technically hire and will never see again. I had to get into a shouting match to get something addressed, which I’d prefer not to do. The installers wanted to break my sprinkler system pipes as needed (digging post holes) and let me deal with repair after the fact vs me coordinating with my sprinkler guy to move the piping which takes less than an hour but has to be scheduled. That would cost them time they didn’t want to spend. Had they not scheduled me last minute I could have better coordinated. The last piece is if you ever need service post-install there is none. Penn doesn’t want to hear from you, or they toss out a ridiculous service charge so you go away. Penn is basically a fence broker that subs out their work and runs an assembly line type business. Actual install was better than the experience, but quality is average (I thought I was getting better). I wouldn’t use again or recommend. I emailed the owner at the end of job, but not surprisingly didn’t get a response. What I described to him is how they do it and they are good with that…Why am I writing this 18 months later outside of I have better things to do. I needed some matching screws to repair a gate hinge that came off. That was too difficult an ask. I wasn’t in their system to look up what I purchased, the parts guy hadn’t heard of the fence brand they installed and recommended I go to a hardware store and paint the screw heads black to match….guess that’s what I’ll do!

We were in need of a privacy fence along one side of our yard. From the estimate to the install, Penn Fencing operated very professionally. The installers worked hard for one day in hot, humid, and rainy weather and placed it exactly where we asked. Aside from its great function, the install was a huge piece of entertainment for our young son. Our side of the fence is much more peaceful thanks to Penn Fencing and their employees!

We had almost 300 linear feet of split rail with black coated welded wire (so it’s dog safe) installed and 3 gates. Install took 4 days. My husband and I are beyond happy with how it turned out.Charlie, the estimator, was great and very responsive through the process. From estimate to start of the project was about 5 weeks. I had some questions in the waiting period and always got prompt responses.Gabriel and his team of installers were super pleasant and professional. I work from home which made it easy to ask/answer questions while the install was happening. The team was knowledgeable and considerate. The approach was “this is you’re home, so it’s your preference, you need to love it” for things like what direction the gates swing open or how close the fence comes to trees or property line. Great team!
