Although it was packed with baseball/softball teams, it was well worth the wait. I got a chocolate milkshake and my little one got a scoop of rainbow sherbet in a cake cone and they were both fantastic. Their menu and available ice cream list is expansive! They have so many delicious flavors of ice creams and sherbets to choose from. Great prices as well which is a plus in todays world/economy. Will totally be back!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!

This was an accidental find as we were returning to Pittsburgh from the Slippery Rock area. We saw the Solar Eclipse. It was great to see. And on the return home I googled ice cream shops that had soft serve AND HARD ice cream. It led us to KINGS CONE CASTLE. Easy to find. It was amazing! They have sooo many flavors! My husband likes soft serve…they had unique flavors as well. It tasted so good & they are not skimpy on your 2 scoops of hard ice cream! Everyone is pleasant. It’s very clean. Plenty of parking. Plenty of picnic tables to sit outside or inside. You should try this place. You won’t regret it!Dietary restrictions: Less sugar /no extra sugar addedParking: Large parking area. Large picnic area with tables.

This place features so many options, scoops large, and has amazing staff. My kids LOVED the scavenger hunt! We'll be back the next time we are in the area. (They did great with serving someone with an allergy!)

It's a cute little ice cream shop, they serve Perry's and there is so many choices! I had salted caramel coffee and my son had roadrunner raspberry. We each got 2 scoops and the price was around $7

Great ice cream! Sometimes, you'll have to wait in line, but there's a reason why, and it's worth it. Wait times usually aren't too bad. They have all the basic "ice cream shop" menu items. Great little spot.

What a wonderful ice cream Shoppe. My sister and my two young grandsons spent a lovely time there not only enjoying the ice cream but the scavenger hunt. The place has been painted by a talented artist who has covered the walls from floor to ceiling with nursery rhymes, popular stories, etc. Can't be explained. My grandsons had a great time searching for different pictures. Loved it!

I can never say enough great things about King Cones. They sell delicious ice cream year round. The staff is always friendly. Whether you are eating inside, outside, or going through the drive-thru King Cones is fantastic.

Such a homey feeling place to stop for ice cream. The kids had so much fun trying to do the scavenger hunt hidden in the painting. The staff is extremely friendly and patient even with the kids changing their minds as they tried to choose a flavor. The portions are huge and the prices are low! Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again.

Really great ice cream at a really great price!!!! They had my black raspberry ice cream that is always sold out at my other ice cream shop!!! Can’t wait to go back. 3 cake cones -two with one scoop and one with a half a scoop was just over $5. Amazing to get myself and all the kids a snack for less than 10 bucks.

You wouldn't think that a small town ice cream place would make or break a road trip, but King's Cone is one of those delights that you take with you after you leave. With a multitude of flavors and a cheerful staff who are genuinely glad to see you and help you make your perfect choice, this inexpensive side quest gets as many bonus points as it gives.Way to raise my expectations for ice cream shops across the board, King. Hi here. Yum.

Place is top notch and can't beat the price. Sometimes busy but that's to be expected cuz there's a reason they are busy. To the few who complain seems like they will find fault in anything. Especially one complaining about his banana milkshake being yellow? Um kinda supposed to be that way. One complains no menu given out in long lines. Well, you took the time to click the review tab. Did you not see the menu tab next to it?

Visiting my daughter from Texas. She brought me here for the hard scoop ice cream...there was ZERO disappointments. I got the maple walnut in a waffle cone ... loved it! It was so creamy and yummy! My daughter ( expecting in May ) got Birthday Cake... in 1, 2, ... 3 bites it was gone. Lol. She said it's her go to ice cream while pregnant 😊 AND she got the pint! Fantastic ice cream place!

Wow, wow, wow best place in the world to get ice cream. Large portions for a really fair price. They have hard and soft serve ice cream. Many flavors to choose from. Sundays, banana splits, milk shakes , cones, dishes. They also have soft serve yogurt. Ice cream. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. You can dine in or go to the drive through. It's always a pleasure eating there. And You won't be disappointed.

I typically only ever write reviews when something is either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Me and my wife went to king cones today and ordered a peanut butter and banana milkshake with vanilla ice cream, and a cone with a scoop of butter pecan and cotton candy. When we got our order at the drive thru, I got what I believed was the correct shake, as I shouldn’t have to check to make sure in a drive thru that is totally packed. My wife got the wrong cone right off the bat. It had two scoops of cotton candy. The young lady at the drive thru window said we can get you the butter pecan scoop in a cup. We paid and drove off. I got a receipt and they charged me for the other scoop in the cup. Additionally, they gave me a chocolate milkshake not peanut butter banana. I don’t understand how that’s difficult to screw up. Being overcharged and receiving the wrong product is not what I came to expect but nonetheless I won’t ever be back.

First the murals on the walls were the highlight of the visit. My husband and I both had peanutbutter swirled soft serve. My son, a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough. The peanutbutter soft serve was nothing to write home about. There wasn't enough peanutbutter to even taste it. So it was mainly a vanilla cone. I have better soft serve at other places. My son gave a it's OK for his scoop. I will say servings are large and cost is low. The icecream is definitely satisfactory. But not worth going out of your way. However, the murals painted on the walls inside the shop are spectacular. They are worth the road trip. You could spend hours examining them and still not catch everything.
