Pharmacy is great! Staff so friendly! The rest of the store things have noticably been changing. Meat department keeps getting smaller and smaller. Bakery, deli and hot foods have been completely redone. Difficult to understand the meat and cheese set up. Many registers but only a couple open during rushes. Staff is friendly but seem very stressed. Check your receipts!!! System does not always give sales prices or takes digital coupons. If you find mistake simply take the item to customer service. They are super friendly and more then happy to help. Caleb is the best with price issues! Has a coin star and digital Citizens ATM bank branch. Limited floral section.

Everything is way too expensive; and the amazing price they advertise on a single item on Wednesday only is in the ad to draw you in. You go to the store, pick up a few items you need, then find out the item that drew you in is sold out (if it was really ever there in the first place. Same with the buy one get two free Drumsticks ice cream. It was supposed to be that price for the whole ad week. I went in three times at the beginning, middle and end of the ad week. Absolutely not even one in the freezer shelf any of those days. When I asked about it, they claimed "Oh ya we got them in". I called the other Giant Eagle in town. The girl said the manager told them they wouldn't be getting any in. Bad way to treat customers!

I am a worker there , I work in produce department , I am a produce clerk. I like working there however some of the customers can be a little nicer about 10% of them are kind of on the rude side. I feel they are having a bad day. And also we have a young lady comes in with a little attitude when you go to explain something to her about certain things that are already done. She wants to do it all over.

Cashiers and baggers need better training on how to treat a customer, some of which should be common sense and good manners...The girl that checked me out today could not pick me out of a line up immediately after waiting on me because she never greeted me, interacted with me or thanked me when she was done. She was too busy yakking it up with the bagger, who I "thanked" for bagging my items and his response back to me was a mumbled "YEP".

Not the greatest selection to choose from, and prices are inflated.I recommend driving to Wal Mart. You will save a small fortune.

Deli workers are always ignorant. They act like you are bothering them to get sliced deli. They closed deli during daylight hours too much. Cashiers are talking between each other when you go to check out . They don't even greet you. Moraine GE is Great! Employees are so helpful and wonderful! Moraine ge is great

Purchased items today for both personal and business use (would be reimbursed). Didn’t sweat two purchases and receipts as I can itemize based off one receipt. After purchase I asked to use a “store card” as I’m not local and don’t need the whatever savings card this store uses. They obliged. Great! After using my debit card I asked for a receipt. They told me it would be emailed to the account linked to my savings card. I reminded them I used theirs and would need a receipt. Someone from (I believe) customer service came over and tried but since the cashier had begun ringing up the customer behind me they apparently couldn’t print a receipt any longer? It’s 2023. You can’t print a receipt? What in the 1998 point of sale system are you using? Absurd. Most places would go out of their way to ensure a customer is provided a receipt. Instead everyone looked at me like I was in the wrong until I just left.

I had never been in a Giant Eagle until my wife and I were in Butler, PA recently. It seemed well stocked and clean from what I could tell. If there were such grocery stores where I lived I'd consider shopping there. 👍🛒🛍️

There is a decent selection at the GE, though not as good as the one at Moraine Pointe Plaza. The staff are efficient and the store is clean. Usually plenty of parking. But it’s pricey, even taking into account sales and perks, so it's not my 1st choice for weekly grocery shopping, despite being the supermarket I live closest too.

I’m from FL a more built up area and giant eagle just has a poor selection of food choices. They don’t offer any cosmetics or any type of specialty items. Very poor choice of items. Maybe because I’m out in the country and I’m used to being in a more populated up to date area.

I will admit i miss eagles nest. Giant eagle is very clean and workers are friendly . I have found amazing deals walking around and love the produce . I am not sure why tho that the deals i find in the aisles sometimes do not show up on my receipt . I will get it fixed at customer service and they are very patient.

The women at the check out lane asked if I needed her to grab an extra cart & help me with taking groceries out to the car. I had a child with me so that was extremely nice of her to offer assistance. I can't say I've ever been offered that at any grocery store.

I called the bakery at 3:00pm to see what kind of cakes were available in their display case and out of curiosity I asked them if they could make a last minute cake ready for 6:00. They said yes! Thanks you giant eagle! The lady I talked to was very kind! This giant eagle is better than most giant eagles I've been to. Always friendly staff.

This Giant eagle never has the stuff I need and is always way overpriced. They didn't have single jalapenos to buy, only a pack of about 10, twice now I've asked the deli for a specific kind of cheese and they don't even know what words I'm saying. The store is nice and clean and the people are friendly. But every time I go I tell myself I'm never going again. It's way overpriced and I never have the items I need. I go to the store because it's closer to where I live and I think it will be easier than dealing with Walmart, but (I never thought I would say this in my life) I prefer Walmart to this Giant eagle location.

Pharmacy clerks are always very kind and courteous. Service is great, line moves along a reasonable pace. The store is always clean and well organized. Everyone working there are great.

They seem to have cornered the market on poor in-store stocking layout. It's not well organized, items are hard to find on your own, & it's rare for an employee to actually stop their activity to help you find anything. Things are often out of stock, or lack the variety of other stores. (Ex: Breyer's ice cream, why no "chocolate truffle"? Walmart and other GE in town both carry it!) My other complaint is the attitude of the checkout clerks. They seem to think work time=break time; ignore you, the customer who has the money from whence their paycheck comes, and spend your transaction time chatting with their buddies. If you interrupt with a question, they act exasperated and annoyed. One learns to hold any iquiries unless they find themselves with noone of consequence with which to chat. One other annoyance is the dedicated checkout line for the deli is also a low volume line, but you won't know this until you proceed through, cart loaded with a full range of products including your deli items, displaying your ignorance on what items can be rung up together, and which must be treated as loners. Dang customers! So annoying!

I prefer GE over most of the rest. They always seem to have what you want even when it's a sale price. That's just my opinion on what I've found. The pharmacy has the most helpful people I have found anywhere. They truly care about you and what they can do to help you. The grocery side has at least one of their cashiers Donna, who not only is Very good but very friendly. If you become a regular customer, they treat you like family.

Do not trust them when you are buying tomatoes. I bought tomatoes on sale for 99 cents per lb. Got home to find they charged me $2.99 per lb for hydro tomatoes. It was local OH tomatoes that were on sale, and what I purchased. Went in to get it corrected, got home and again found they still overcharged me saying I bought Ark tomatoes and charged me $1.79 per lb for them. I have had this problem before with another Giant Eagle and charging for hydro tomatoes when they were not, but it was corrected the first time. To drive back and get it corrected again, I will be in the hole for gas cost.Amendment to my original review: Gave one more star now but not for the particular store. It was for Giant Eagle in general. I wrote a complaint in one of their online surveys and this morning I received an apology email along with they have credited me $6 onto my Advantage card for the troubles I had. Giant Eagle in whole is a good company and will make things right. Shopping there is a little expensive, but what is not expensive now a days? I probably will steer clear of this particular store, but definitely will continue to shop at their other locations. Walmart does not have everything! Lol

I'm very grateful that they open at 6 am for seniors. Thank you. However, I am not happy that there is such a minimal selection of lunch meat and cheese. This morning, the fresh bakery buns and bread were not out either.

I just want to say that the ladies in the bakery department both Destiny and Tamara did a great job on a cake that I ordered for my office party on July 19th 2019. Not only did it not cost a fortune to get ($35) but I think they did a great job of listening to what I was looking for and was able to create such a wonderful cake. Thank you again for your services and know I will be coming back.

Staff are super friendly! I always worry cause usually I'm the only 👋🏾 person in the store when I go. I worry about how I'm going to be treated and I've been treated like any other customer. Butler is a small town and still a lot of trump signs all over Butler.

The Giant Eagle chain is great, especially for those wishing to avoid Walmart. This particular store, however, is in bad need of an update. Probably one of the oldest stores I have seen and lacks the amenities of a more modern Giant Eagle such as beer, a sushi bar, organic foods section, and product selection. They also do not have any restrooms intended for public use. Would not recommend the store but would definitely recommend the chain

I love shopping here. Plus I don't use my credits for gas because it pays you more to get extra money off of your groceries. The store is very clean also.

The stores are clean and well organized. I can find items here I cant anywhere else and their prepared foods are always delicious. I find the prices to be fair compared to anyone else and I would much rather spend my money here than at national chains.

Love Giant Eagle! By far the best place to go and get your food and cleaning supplies. With the advantage card, the deals are unbeatable! Pick 5 for 19.99 meat sales are to die for and .99 bread! Spend $70 on the amount of food that would cost $100 at Walmart and other stores and not sacrificing quality or brand names
