Marriott should remove this hotel and franchise owner form their portfolio. this property and ownership are not up to Marriot standards.the hotel is under renovation which is fine and the new rooms are fine but super basic. We checked into our 2 rooms on a Friday night. In one of our rooms we heard a load alarm type beep every minute or two. my wife called to the desk and they said they would look into it. She never heard back. Called the desk and the front desk wouldn't answer. so she called form her cell phone and they answered. The agent said Maintenance went up and didn't hear it. Which was impossible. I went and found the source myself which was a utility room directly next to our room propped open with a fire extinguisher (safety issue). the loud beep was every few minutes. I went down stair and they finally moved our room saying engineering was now gone for the day.Second issue, Later at 12:30am the power went out then immediately came back on (sort of). the AC came on but none of the lights or wall outlets were working. After 30 minutes I went to the hall and all the lights were on there and in the lobby. When I went tot the desk I could hear the desk agent on the phone with the owner. When he got off he said engineering was gone and wouldn't be in until the AM. I explained that if the power is only out in my room than the issue was inside the hotel and they needed somewhere here. I went upstairs to wait. I wear a CPAP to sleep so I cannot sleep without power. I went back down at 2:30am to get a status the he said the owner wasn't sending anyone. I convinced him to go look at the circuit breakers and did and reset the breaker form my room (and another person in the lobby) and the power to the room came on. had the owner had any concern for the satisfaction of his guests he would have called in his engineer at 12:30 and this would all have been avoided. When i checked out I mentioned my issues and the manger was not in yet. The woman took my name and said someone would call. no one ever did. I have called myself a few times to the name I was given which was Maria A. but they said she is not normally there and refused to give me her contact info only a generic hotel email.

It's ghetto! I booked this thru my corporate travel agent expecting a regular Fairfield by Marriott experience. The TV didn't work and had all the wires and a cable box dangling over the desk. The ironing board is from the Carter administration and the iron doesn't steam. The shampoo in the shower was empty. The coffee area is filthy.NONE OF MY ISSUES ARE CONSTRUCTION RELATED!

Bill Marriott would be so embarrassed! Was so upset when I saw the disaster of a room we were given. We walked in exhausted at 11 pm without a reservation (I thought we made one, but I guess it never went through). So didn't expect anything fancy. We got a first-floor handicapped room.Moldy shower curtain, rusty tub, gross shower head, peeling wallpaper, and the privacy curtain (1st floor looking out to parking lot) had a large gash that you could tell they tried to repair. With blue duct tape. Not clear. Not white. Blue. Had to change in the bathroom or in the dark.I know they are under construction but either give us a renovated room or say no vacancy.Location fine for what we needed. Didn't bother to ask for room change b/c in for less than 7 hours and kids already unpacked by the time I got into the bathroom.

Our room smelled musty and wet whenever we checked in. Had to open the windows and run the fan to get the smell out. The toilet was cracked and the hotel was generally dirty. The breakfast was AWFUL. No plates for anything, no cups for waffle mix, no syrup, NO FORKS. When we asked the receptionist she just said they had a food order entered. Totally unacceptable. It would have been better to just not offer breakfast.

reserved three rooms for family members. TV did not work in two rooms. Price was adjusted for one room. I was very disappointed with the attitude of the manager.Food & drinks: The complimentary breakfast was disappointing.

Very disappointed in my stay here. The one elevator wasn’t working when we arrived on Friday. Worked again on Saturday, but broken again when I checked out on Sunday. I am 73 years old and had to walk down dangerously damaged stairs from the third floor, with luggage. Fortunately though I was on the third floor because my friend was staying on the second floor - a terrible stench! Looked over the breakfast and we decided to enjoy our meal at a nice restaurant in downtown Butler. This hotel is definitely not worth the money!

They oversold rooms. I drive an hour out of town to find out that they have no room for me. Despite paying beforehand and having a confirmation number. Steven was completely unapologetic, and offered no solutions. He was already so rude to another customer there. He refused to call anyone to mediate this. We were told we could take the card of the manager and refused to give his full name. Apparently this has been happening for some time, yet no action was taken. Steven had such a baffling lack of customer service and de-escalation skills. As someone in the hospitality business, I am severely disappointed for both myself and the other patrons. I do not recommend to anyone to come hereUpdate: as a note this is as a memorial trip for my partners dead father. And Steven cancelled our reservation without our consent. We only find out when we call to complain to corporate. I hope he has the day he deserves.

We booked at this facility a month prior to needing accommodation. I specifically asked if they had a pool. Two days prior to arriving I had to cancel one of our rooms. When speaking to the VERY RUDE man who answered the phone, I asked if it was an inside pool or outside. I was informed that the pool was not available as it was having renovations. Are you telling me that 4 weeks prior that the facility did not know that the pool was going to be down for repair? The man on the phone was abrupt, rude, talked fast and was difficult to understand. We canceled our reservation and stayed at choice suites and dealt with wonderful, helpful, and cheerful staff.

Overall, very disapointed in our stay this past weekend. The hotel is under construction and overall very dirty. There were dead bugs and dirt in our windows, the windows are covered in plastic so you cannot see out them, the room smelled musty/smokey, and several things are out of service. The water was off for the afternoon, the elevator is out, and the ice machine wasn't working. I feel like I completely overpaid for such an unsanitary place to sleep.

Location is great. The continental breakfast was very good. They had a great selection of breakfast foods from hot and cold cereal, waffles, eggs, fruit, danishes, breakfast sandwiches, etc.The room was clean but it had some red mold on the caulking around the tub.Didn't get clean towels, even after asking for them.I left my cell phone in the room. When I came back from my meeting, it wasn't there.I had to buy a new one.Rooms: Had some red mold on the tub caulking.

Hotel was under renovation, but the rooms that were on the 2nd floor were horrible, ceilings were fallen into bathroom tub, floors reeked, elevator broke down, water pressure was low, had to ask for more toilet paper, rooms didnt look like they were swept, cleaned, or dusted. Front entrance makes it look run down, canopy was ripped down, weeds everywhere, again understand it's under renovation but the rooms that are available, they should make sure they r clean before a customer walks into their room & w/ no amenities like pool or ice machines, should not charge full price!!!

Stayed there during the week of jeep fest for three days. The only reason I stayed there was all the other hotels were booked. I flew in for a funeral, so I had no choice but to stay at the fairfield. Arriving at the hotel, I noticed it was under construction, there were hundreds of cigarette butts all over the ground and the staff at checkout clearly didn't care to take care of the uniform she was wearing. The very first night I was walking in the hallway and seen mice running down the hall. I mentioned it to the hotel staff and asked to get my last night stay credited back to me since I couldn't get another room because of jeep fest and the hotels were all booked. They said they would ask management and I didn't hear anything from them til checkout and they said since I stayed they couldn't comp anything but $25. They new it was jeep fest and everything was booked.Don't stay at the fairfield! It's a dump and way over priced. The rooms are way out dated and musty.

My father booked a handicap room for my grandparents to stay at for my wedding. They failed to mention that their elevator was under construction and the room they put them in was on the third floor. My grandmother is in a wheelchair and can't go up steps. My father booked the room in January for June 25. They gave the first floor room to another and said we were out of luck. No manager to help. No credit, no nothing. We had to go buy wipes from Walmart and make due with a standard room. What a mess. I don't recommend this hotel until they are out of construction.

While the service was friendly, the rest of the Hotel was Subpar at best. The Hottub was not open, which was the only reason we chose this hotel over others in the area, we had to ask for towels at the pool both times we were there, there was little to no hot water for showers in our room, the room was not cleaned well. We found a sock that didn't belong to any of us under the bed. And it could use vacuumed.

Well our room was clean. I had called about a indoor pool. Was told there was one. BUT a when we went to use it . The water was ICE COLD the reason we stayed was we wanted to use the pool. We knew the hot tub wasn’t useable. When checking in I told them I was using cash. When they asked for a card to hold. When the went to pay in the morning the guy working just looked at me when I said I’m paying cash. Stated it is already paid for they put it on my card I told them I told them I’m paying cash he was sorry there is nothing I can do about it. Won’t be back

We booked last minute due to water issues at our house and this was the only place in town with open rooms. I had heard great things... They weren't all true. The workers were very friendly and the bed was comfortable. The pool was freezing! The bathroom, which is why we needed a room, was DISGUSTING! There was mold and mildew all in the shower, the shower head was coming out of the wall and the water would go from hot to cold for no reason! The mold was on the tub, the shower curtain, the floor outside the tub and the pinkish mildew was EVERYWHERE! And there were bugs all in the sink and dead worm like bugs on the floor and centipedes on the walls! I will not go there again unless I can see the room first!!!! Be careful!!

One of the cleanest Hotel, I have been in. The staff is amazing and very friendly. The Regional Manager Chuck who works here always greeted me with a smile and acknowledged me by name. The hotel room was very clean and the king size bed was so comfortable. Thank you to all the employees here, I would highly recommend you staying here. One if the best Hotels in Butler Pennsylvania!!!! 😊😊😊😊

Guests beware. This hotel is by far the worst establishment I have ever set foot in. Owners, management and staff are all absurdly rude, unwelcoming and don’t be surprised if you get charged for “damages” during your stay. Damages that they are never able to produce proof of. Once the GM who’s name is Chuck was questioned about the charges to my account, I was told I am no longer allowed there. This gentleman also proceeded to call me a “fat bitch” and hold up his middle finger at me. The way my family was treated is appalling to say the least. The condition of the room we stayed is was disgusting. We were even nice enough to leave the room cleaner than it was when we arrived. No one has yet to be able to explain why I was charged 750 dollars for a one night, one room stay. And anytime I question it over the phone they hang up. This hotel is run by scam artists. If you are considering this establishment while you are in Butler PA, I would advise against it.

The hotel room smells so bad. The most horrific thing is bathroom. Water doesn’t drain well in the tub and the dirty water stays in the tub and we need to take shower in that dirty water with slippery and dirty tub. And one more worst thing is the exhaust in the bathroom is also not working. When you take shower the steam forms on the floor and you may get skid.We complained about the bathtub but nobody got that repair. Housekeeping people do not come everyday unless you ask the person in the front desk to send someone. Horrible and worst experience that too after spending $125 per night. I do not recommend my friends this hotel.

Booked my room directly thru hotel and got a better price than online. Large rooms. Currently no breakfast bar, though they do offer bagels, muffins coffee and such.Pet friendly. Quiet. Not as sanitized as I'd like, but it's clean. Staff are very nice and friendly.Outside can use some cleaning. Dog sh¡t in the plant / cedar chips along the pathway.Overall not a bad place.Would stay again

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, but the downside of this was as soon as we entered our room it smelled like cigarettes, and continued to smell like cigarettes during our stay. For someone that doesn’t smoke this is very annoying and gross. The front desk told us that it was from people smoking out front of the hotel, personally I think where you should be able to smoke should be moved considering it is affecting the stays of guests along the entire front of the building.

Don’t use this hotel for your wedding block. It ended up being incredibly difficult to get information, because the only manager who will discuss hotel blocks works at night. They charged the wrong price to a lot of our guests, lost reservations, and the night manager never returned my many calls. Creating the block was easy but the time it became difficult it was too late for me to switch to another hotel, otherwise I would have gone somewhere else.

I have stayed at this hotel over the last 15 years. I am very disappointed in the change of staff and ownership. This ownership is unfriendly, not warm and personal like it use to be.I understand renovation, but when investing money is more important than customer service, I will not support it.I'm sad that I must find another place to stay and I'm sad for all the staff that probably got fired.Corporate world can dress the part and brag about how much money they are spending on renovation, but it's the little things that matter to me....warm breakfast, warm smiles, warm shower, hot coffee, toilet paper, toiletries, and a hair dryer.Oh, and having all the chairs up on the tables in the breakfast area is uninviting and it says to me, " room closed, you cannot sit here".

The hotel appears modern and clean at first glance but the rooms do not match up. Our room smelled like someone just sat and chain smoked in it for hours leading up to our arrival. The bathrooms have mold in them. Beyond the poor quality of the room, there was a wedding party at the hotel during our stay and it’s clear the hotel has no respect for its other guests. The party goers were allowed to drunkenly move around all parts of the hotel and occupy the lobby beyond 3am. They were loud beyond compare and the staff tolerated it. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
