I'm NOT a bagel guy, I never buy them or pick them when there's other options. Their shop is downtown and close to our hotel. We had the "egg" bagels. One with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese the other one was the S. Jersey Turnpike sandwich. They were good, I'm not a bagel guy so I can't get too excited but the staff was friendly and I like supporting the local businesses. Give them a shot if you're in town, especially if enjoy bagels.

Quaint bagel shop in Butler, I came to get bagels three weeks ago but missed them. Happily they were open today! I felt right at home turn out they are transplants to this area also, originating from Jersey. Delighted, because they make fresh bagels and offer Lox! I hadn’t had Egg Bagels since I left New York and get them every time I go back! First, I had a Egg Everything Bagel with Lox and Cream Cheese, tomato, onion, and capers. My tummy was joyfully smiling. Next, I ordered an Everything Bagel- Styled as the Paramus (hint of New Jersey 😉) which is Steak, Egg, and Cheese. Then I ordered the Onion Bagel - Styled as the Seaside with Turkey Bacon Egg and Cheese. The bagels were amazing! My hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed them so much I forgot to get pics before we demolished them.Talk about taste of NJ/NY in Butler, PA 🤗 the cozi shop has awesome music and vibes to match. The husband and wife team are awesome sauce! They were quite a pair with great energy and I recommend their bagel shop to anyone passing by or visiting the area. Check them out! Thank you for the bagels and coffee. ❤️

A little hidden gem in downtown Butler, PA. Fantastic-tasting bagels. I had the big boy Benny which has sausage, bacon, double pork roll, eggs, hashbrowns, and cheese with your choice of bagel. That was one of the best breakfast bagels I've had in about 30 years. This little gem is worth the stop-in. The owners are very friendly and both are from New Jersey. Please stop by and grab yourself a fantastic bagel or dozen.

Just moved here from ATL. We were skeptical but hopeful. Worth the 15$ for a half dozen, great price for quality bagels. Love supporting local businesses. Wifey is a big bagel lover so thank you for being here in butler downtown!Egg Everything bagels were perfection. We were hoping for maybe bagel sandwiches but grateful for the yummy basics. Made some tune for her pumpernickel. What a wonderful carb day change up from hoagies! Thank y’all.

The best “Jersey” bagels in the Pittsburgh area! We ordered a variety of bagels with cream cheese for a New Jersey brides getting brunch here in Pittsburgh and they were perfection! The owners made it extra special by including a sweet note to the bride- thank you so much!

These bagels are exemplary and the breakfast bagels are big enough for 2 men and a boy! Very tasty! The owners, Kayla and Alex, are gregarious and friendly, and the shop is spotless every time we visit.Highly recommended if you’re in town!

Delicious bagel breakfast sammiches! They were HUGE…like 2x the size of normal bagels. Great deal for the price. I got the Kayla bagel which came with egg, cheese & hashbrowns plus i added bacon too and it was super yummy. My 2 little kids gobbled it up too. Will definitely return next time I’m in area. Owner was super friendly too!

Great bagels! This is the only place in this area I can get a real NY/NJ style bagel. Get the "South Jersey"! So good! My only complaint is the price. That sandwich in Jersey sells for around $5 and here they charge $8.75.

More bagel for your buck than you can imagine! Authentic NJ bagels in this quaint little shop in Downtown Butler. Only half way through sampling the entire menu & everything's so good, you can't even pick a favorite. You can see in the pic, that they are not stingy with the cream cheese either! Rumor has it sandwiches on these bad boys are in the near future. Actual NJ coffee too. This place is the real deal, and Alex & Kayla are the bee's knees!!

I grew up in Jersey and have transplanted to PA as an adult. Whenever I see places labeled “Jersey style” or “New York Style” I get very skeptical. One of the things I miss from home most is a good Jersey bagel. I was in butler for a work event and saw this place and knew I had to put it to the test. Some places in Pittsburgh make good bagels, but not like they are back home. I am relieved and excited to say this place makes a bagel exactly like they do back in Jersey. Nice crispy outside, super fluffy interior. It’s a wonderful slice of home for me. Can’t wait to go back again and again, even though I live 45 minutes away. The owners were wonderful people that were fun to connect with over our shared home state. Go get their pork roll egg and cheese for one of the best breakfast sandwiches you’ll ever have.

Wonderful little family owned bagel shop in downtown Butler. Took the wife and kids here and everyone enjoyed the food and service. Lots of cool Jeep decorations for the 4x4 crowd as well.Vote with your wallet by shopping at small businesses like this one!

Downtown Bagel House is the best bagel place in the United States. In the past year, I have traveled to over 30 states. Each state I go to, I specifically seek out bagel places and I can tell you there has been no place better than Downtown Bagel House. Do yourself a favor an order the north jerz on an egg bagel. The owners are truly invested in the business and the customer service is exceptional. I would get breakfast from Downtown Bagel House every day if I could. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. My husband and I visited their shop several months before our wedding and asked if they had any vegan offerings because we were preparing for many vegan guests staying in Butler. Kayla said that they didn't currently have any vegan breakfast sandwich offerings but that she would create a special vegan menu for our wedding weekend and asked me to let her know what types of items we would want. She designed an awesome (and beautiful!) vegan menu exclusively for our wedding weekend, and the breakfast sandwiches were absolutely delicious. She is such a kind, thoughtful person and I couldn't believe how much effort and thought she put into this menu. Thank you so much, Kayla! You're the best.

Exceeded our expectations! First time visit to this quaint bagel shop, was just expecting some bagels in a case with cream cheese containers.... but was impressed to see a menu with hot bagel breakfast sandwiches, smoothies & a nice variety of bagel/ cream cheese options! We had the bacon egg & cheese bagels and they were huge & delicious! Also ordered a blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese & it was packed full of cream cheese like a sandwich also! Very tasty! We will definitely be returning soon to try other bagel flavors now that we know this place is top knotch ! I would post pictures but we ate every last!

I stopped in one early morning and was initially put off by the atmosphere of the shop's interior. It looked like it was a construction scene, with no place to sit down & enjoy eating what turned out to be a fantastic, fresh, warm & tasty bagel. It was spectacular. Too bad l had to eat it in the alley sitting in my car. Hopefully they plan on upgrading the interior to match their great food- the best bagel in town!

I wandered into the Downtown Bagel House to check it out. I ordered the North Jerz bagel sandwich and a Carmel frappe milkshake which was a special limited time drink. My first thought about the sandwich was Wow it was a decent size my second thought was Wow again because it was so delicious!! My milkshake was also delicious. You will not be disappointed the food and the service were top notch. It's always a pleasure to buy from a locally owned business but when the food is so good it becomes an experience leaving you wanting more.Great job Downtown Bagel House!

This is such a cute shop! The owners are friendly and so involved in the community already! They’ve dug their roots in out town so quickly and actively listen to their customers by taking suggestions on how to Bering in new products to their shop! The bagels are amazing, the cream cheese and smooth and pack on in the perfect amount and service feels like you’re being served by friends! 10/10 recommend for all!!

I’ve quickly fallen in love with this new place. I ADORE bagels and love to support local. Kayla and Alex (the owners) are SO friendly and kind. They left a bagel out of my order on my first trip but quickly corrected the issue by offering to replace the missing bagel + give me a bonus bagel. I also had a great conversation about common allergens and have full faith they will do everything they can to prevent cross-contamination when they begin introducing allergens like peanuts and tree nuts.
