This place is the worst place to ever work and the DM, Pat Costa, makes the managers work 90 hour weeks with no days off for months on end. Completely awful place, do not spend your money here. The trip to Walmart is worth it, trust me.

Some of their prices can be a bit high and the availability of certain products is horrible but they're the only store downtown besides Miller's Meats and rite aid where you can buy groceries. Their location and convenience is great. I especially like an employee named Joe that works at the Dollar General location on North Main Street in Butler, PA. She is always so friendly, helpful and always smiling!!!

Address and Google Maps bring you to the front left corner of Target. It's really in the back, by Target's loading docks. Avoid Target's lot and stay in the main driveway going past Game Stop, Country Dairy restaurant etc. or use the side road.

Terrible attitude as I was just tossing a ball back-and-forth from my hands, saying if anything broke it was on me to pay when I’m old enough to know not to act like a crazy child an brake things, as I got a attitude it felt like since I’m young sum older people don’t like young kids bc yea we can be full of energy an be fun with things but for my age i’m quite sure i know what to do an not do in the store’s an by me an my sister an not to mention my mom WE felt soooo unwelcome, so for an attitude that was thrown to us for no reasoning I say that was terrible costumer service

Staff willing to help and friendly. I don't like going to this store because there's not as many choices as other stores. The isles seem so packed full and very narrow it's hard to find what your looking for. Merchandise sitting in isles and doesn't feel cozy enough for me to want to spend any length of time looking aound.

Been in that location FOREVER! it use to open in the the mall. I think it is better than the downtown location. It is cleaner I do give them that. The shelves seemed pushed more to the front. Then a decent open space in the middle. Then a huge area in the back for back wall. Right before the white curtains for the back area. Probably could use a remodel inside. Cashiers are hit and miss with attitudes.

While the cashier was ringing me up, she was on the phone placing an order. Said the credit card number loud enough for everyone around to hear her. If she's that careless with her own information, how is she treating mine?

This store is set up differently from the Karns City and Eau Claire stores. It took me a while to find certain items! Nice store overall. Good prices on Christmas items that they still had left.

I hate to admit it but I buy their dollar peanut butter and their vanilla sandwich cookies by the shelf full. My dogs love them and they are so much less expensive than dog treats.

Dollar General describes the shop in its name.Mostly everything in this store is $1.00.You can get everything and even though these items are cheap, they are a very good deal!

I always shop Dollar General first, for household products, and many food items, before I shop my regular order. Also clothes & gifts. Twice as much for a fraction of the price.

The one main st. Charges more for items. They dont stock items when they're gone sometimes. Went close to 3 months w/o ibuprofen. Haven't had fireballs in at least 6mos

Dollar General is great with pricing however , their Digital Coupons program on the machine where/when checking out,,, is horrible and does not work 99.9 percent of the time!!!
