I cannot express how wonderful and compassionate the staff is.We needed an emergency appointment on Sunday.We knew in our hearts our furbaby would be crossing the Rainbow Bridge. We are so heartbroken that I have no words. But the staff spoke to us with such caring and compassion that I am forever grateful for! Thank you so much for your help on such a heartbreaking day for us.We miss you so much it hurts Weiner! You were the most handsome special boy ever! 💔💔💔

My Pomsky had knee surgery at this practice. We were put at ease right away. The staff all work as a team and are friendly & knowledgeable, anticipating your needs. Dr Compton explained everything thoroughly and with a gentle bedside manner. Grateful for her skills as a surgeon. Highly recommend Butler Vet. Associates!

I can not say enough about how wonderful this place is . They took my dog who was not even a patient of theirs at her end of life stage and gave her the most compassionate and beautiful care. This place should have a 100 star review. Thank you Butler Veterinary for sending our old girl Bella so wonderfully over the Rainbow Bridge .

They have been amazing with helping us navigate through a very difficult situation with our 9 yo pup. They have shown extreme patience and compassion for not only my sick dog, but my family as well. Very thankful to have found Butler Veterinary Associates because each and every staff member that has taken care of us has been so gentle and so supportive through a very scary time and got our girl on the right path to recovery. The staff is super nice and so kind and gentle to my cats. They made sure that my cats were checked and had taken amazing care of them. We had such a great visit which can be tough sometimes for them to leave the house but they felt very comfortable with the staff.

Butler Veterinary has provided years of care to our Bella. Our most recent visit was Bella’s very last visit. The staff was very helpful, sympathetic, and caring. We were given as much time as we needed to say goodbye. They made a very difficult time easier to get through.

My dog wasn't feeling well and I could tell it wasn't good. They were upfront at what the journey would be to save him and the cost. We didn't want him to suffer. They were kind and compassionate the entire time. Made sure my wife understood. It was a hard choice, but they made putting him down as gentle of a process as they could. Open dialogue about treatment. They offered same medications from a recurring diagnosis. Which means no testing fees required for the same symptoms. We received a basic exam, and are very satisfied. Our 12 year old pup is already better, bright eyes, more active, and appears to be recovering with only one cycle of the medication. I could not be happier. Thank you!!

The staff at Butler vet were awesome. From the time that I walked in, to leaving out the door was great. Everyone was very professional and courteous. They explained everything in detail, and answered all questions. There was even an emergency when I arrived, and I was advised that it might take a little longer until I am seen due to the emergency. The staff kept you updated. If I lived closer, l than 1 1/2 hours…..I would love for them to be my regular vet!!!!

Our cat was very ill, and we were looking for emergency services. We called the number on the website multiple times but no one answered. We then packed the cat up and took him to the clinic. There was someone sitting at the desk, so not sure why they didn’t answer. We were told that the doctor was in all-night surgery and was unavailable, so we worked have to just wait until the next day. I understand they a doctor in surgery can’t step out, but they offered no other assistance or compassion, no recommendations for somewhere else to go, or anything.

Our cat Prim had a foreign object in his stomach and Butler Veterinary Associates was able to get us in right away. They were incredibly nice and professional and got our boy Prim into surgery right away. They took amazing care of him and kept us updated every step of the way. Best part was it was affordable compared to some other quotes we had from other veterinary offices. I would recommend everyone I know to go here they will take great care of your furry family members! Thanks again Butler Veterinary Associates you guys were amazing!

The Butler Vet Association had always been so nice to my dogs. Sadly some of them did not come home because of how sick they were. The staff worked diligently to help our animals. They were very profession and caring for my dogs during visits.The ER section is great! They have diagnosed both my dogs. One had a bite that reacted badly and they cared quickly for the treatment and gave Boots good care and explanation of treatments. Max came home with a cancer diagnosis and the staff was great! They gave us all the options and the probability of success in each choice. I would highly recommend them. Thank you BVA for all that you have done from my past to my current dogs!

We had to have our 6 month old kitten euthanized this morning because of an illness. The staff were all wonderful, especially Dr. Berry and Cassie. They were petting him with me as the shots were being administered. They were so kind and empathetic and I will be forever grateful.

I recently had my dog at BVA after a scary episode where he had a seizure in the water and almost drowned. Every person we came in contact with was so kind. My dog received excellent care and in a timely manner considering it was a holiday, and he wasn’t the most urgent case at the time. The techs and the vet spent time with us explaining all possibilities, their findings after his exam and bloodwork and what to watch for. I’m very thankful for this local emergency clinic.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE FROM INITIAL CALL TO FOLLOW UPHad an emergency with my dog and they took me as a new client within 10 mins and gave me and my pup the royal treatment AND the bill was a pleasant surprise as well! PLUS they called the following day to check in on Blizzard! I couldn’t give them a higher review ! I am now a going to bring all 6 dogs to them from now on even though they are MUCH further away from my local vet ! A++++++++Well done folks !

I gave one star because they have neglected to tell me my cats results on a test when I spent over 300$ there. I have called them multiple times and they tell me the vet will call me back but hasn't, and they get annoyed when I call them. He was there 4 days ago, got the results 2 days ago. At first someone put my number wrong in the system and I had that fixed but it's still been 2 days and no one has gotten back to me and my cat has been sick for a whole week.

All of the staff that assisted with our visit were comforting and patient. We were in a room within 2 minutes of arrival and had an expense report within 5 minutes of their initial exam of our dog. The expense report was detailed and explained and we were asked if we were comfortable with the costs and if we wanted to move forward. The ER vet explained what they would be doing and why and that the results of bloodwork and X-rays would take about 20 mins. She returned within that timeframe and displayed and thoroughly went over the X-rays and bloodwork. She shared a personal story of one of her pets that went through the same thing-being honest and forthright while being extremely sensitive and compassionate. We lucked into getting in for this emergency appointment only 2 hours after learning our dog had fluid in his abdomen and was told he needed emergency surgery-and I might add that we had never been here before. Our vet wanted to send us to a place on 279 South-about an hour and 20 mins away. I knew there had to be a better option in our area. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and overall atmosphere of this clinic! When in need, don’t hesitate to come here. 😊

BVAEC is a rare find for emergency care. They have ALWAYS been able to accommodate our pets in an urgent situation, without crazy long wait times. They are professional and caring when dealing with stressful situations with pets and owners. The vet techs and docs are friendly and do not rush through the appointment.

Thank you so much to all the staff that helped Sophie and worked Memorial Day to help out my furbaby! Even with a full schedule they made us feel so welcome and calmed us about the treatment! They went over pricing first in case we had any financial concerns and welcomed Sophie with open arms even though she didn't want to go far from mom and dad! It means so much you took such great care of our very much loved family pet!

Exceptional care! We were the first ones there on a Sunday morning. Checked in and there taken right back to a room. My sweet shih tzu was examined by Dr. Bertin who was patient and kind to both our dog and us. She answered every question and took great care of our fur baby. The tech Dawn was so thoughtful and talked to Max like she had known her forever. It’s so difficult when your pet isn’t feeling well, but the kindness of the staff at Butler Veterinary Associates reassured me that my baby was in good hands.

Called an hour before closing on a Tuesday and explained the symptoms my puppy had. They said to be on my way and they'll stay open until I got there. My puppy ended up having parvo. They admitted him and had him for 4 days. I got at least 2 phone calls a day with updates and they asked my opinion before starting new treatments or adding in new medication. I can't recommend them enough. I have no criticism or suggestions on what they could have done better because they exceeded all expectations I had. Puppy is home and recovering so well! Thank you for helping my boy!

At first I was welcomed into the door with "can we help you with something?" After sitting in the waiting area, the lady at the desk proceeded to start mopping, and mopped right up next to me and my pet, with extremely strong chemicals, Practically hitting my feet and my animals crate with the mop, Causing my eyes to burn. Staff was so rude and inconsiderate of me, while I'm having a crisis with my animal. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. They showed me that the only thing they care about is money, not animals.

They were the only vet within a two hour drive of us that had availability to take an emergency for our dog. Dr. Kennedy and tech Autumn were both amazing! Very kind and caring. Explained everything and showed me the X-rays to ease my mind. So thankful they were able to help us! Mia says thank you for helping me!
