I can't give one star.. because we did receive half our meal. Ordered 2 fish sandwiches n fries. And we got charged for two fish sandwiches n fries. I even tipped. The gal checked the bag .so I assumed the order was correct....got home. One sandwich n fries. I actually called to confirm what should be in the bag.Nope..we didn't get what we ordered. They offered to go back ... 20 minutes roundtrip to complete order ( that's the second star) .... So we eat in shifts???We won't be back. Enjoy the cash n tip. Very disappointed..heard great things.

My boyfriend and I stopped after we did a cleaning job so we could grab lunch but wont stop there again.The Blonde cashier w Tattoos on her arm was very rude and very unprofessional. She snatched my boyfriends money right out of his hand and acted like he was an inconvenience rather then a paying customer. Also there was an older gentleman that wasn't sure how to use the card reader and she was very rude to him as well. Good Customer service is important when your dealing w the public and she did a horrible job doing that today.

Butler Hot Dog Shoppe is a quaint little side shop with an old style feel.The staff were all friendly and helpful, food was served hot and fast, and tasted great!Don't expect anything ritzy here, it's a down home, small town roadside place with great food and great prices.

First time there, will also be our last. The food was nothing spectacular, there was a lack of seasoning overall. The onion rings batter was very bland, didn't seem like there was salt or pepper in it. Fries were also bland. The chili was an ok texture with a lot of pepper mixed in. I do not like a lot of salt, but I know it is needed to help enhance flavors, and this had none. I could tell this place was well liked as they were busy while we were there. Maybe we just don't have the right taste buds.

A quaint hotdog shop in the heart of Butler Pennsylvania. It appears to be in What was at one time or gas station. Their regular dogs come with chili, onions, and a pickle. Very reasonably priced. No indoor seating but there are some picnic tables outside. An added plus, it’s right next-door to beer store.

Friendly mask free business. Decent fries, good hot dogs, and amazing fesh mushrooms!!!! Everything is made to order. Worth the 5 minute wait!

They were having staffing issues when I visited.The hot dogs came out warm on the outside, cold on the inside and were nothing special. The fries were ehh.It’s a takeout only place. Kind of dirty looking. Ate in the parking lot at a table there.

The hot dogs were ok but they were just your run of the mill cheap store bought hot dogs that were smaller than the bun. The sauce was ok. Service was good and order correct. The store was small. Add the few people waiting in line made it a tight situation. Overall it was an ok lunch. Might try something different next time to give the food a better chance.Wheelchair accessibility: This is definitely NOT handicap friendly. The space inside the door to order and pickup is extremely small

Well it's not like it used to be Back in the day. I know things change.too big of a bun for the hot dogs. too big of a pickle for the hot dog ...the chili dog sauce is very good still. And I ordered two fish sandwiches for dinner the buns were a little tough.could not bite through it .the fish was good..

These are NOT fresh cut fries. Also the fish tastes greasy. Oil needs changed. No fork for cole slaw so I didnt try it. BLT had gummy bread and no mayo.Stay away.

Butler Hot Dog Shoppe is one of the restaurants in town that locals love and insist that visitors try their food while in Butler.Its basically summer comfort food...I think it's safe to say that everyone in Butler has memories tied to the Hot Dog Shoppe. The menu is very basic but that's not a negative, its known for hot dogs and fries...I've never ordered anything but those 2 things there in the past 20+ years and I love the place.

We love buying food from our local businesses!The food was great! Had to take it home and warm it up because it sat ,and after poking my head 4 times no one alerted me to the fact that it was ready for 20 mins. The other thing was that we bought a 12 pack of dawgs and a lg fry. It totaled 28 dollars. I thought that was excessive for what we bought. Staff ,other than the one preparing food was chatting w a friend that stopped in. We ❤️ the owners!!! Dnt mis understand my review. I was more upset that after paying 28 for food and tipping 7 ,I was slightly frustrated.

1/21/23 took my husband for the first time, the employees were nice, the chili dogs were good, not greasy, i love the hot dog chili sauce it tasted faintly of cloves, which i like, i have never eaten anything from there besides the chili dogs, so i cannot comment on the rest of the food. I think their winter hours they close at 7pm but normally open until 8/9pm the rest of the year ?
