WOW! Visiting from out of town and trying to figure out how I can get some of these amazing cuts of meat back home with me! My mom and dad used to come here for the ham loaf, so I couldn't resist snagging a couple to bring back with me. Was welcomed as soon as I walked in the door, and it instantly made me feel at home! Great service, friendly workers, and amazing meat. This place makes me never want to buy meat at a grocery store again! I'll be back to visit and will bring a bigger cooler next time!

Outstanding place to buy your Beef, pork and chicken. They also carry many other items. Super professional, friendly and helpful. I love shopping at Brose's every time I visit Butler. I Stop today 03/13/24 and bought the stuffed cabbage and mashed potatoes . They were excellent and brought back memories of my dad's cooking. I can't wait to try their chili, soups and other wonderful dishes. As always the staff were wonderful to talk to and very helpful. I love this place. Semper Fi.

Prices are fair. They don't let you browse for a minute, you walk in and they want to help you and get you out. Employees could be a little friendlier.

I've been having ham loaf from brose's since I was a little girl. I refuse to get it anywhere else. This Easter they saved my butt. We decided to do ham loaf and cheesey potatoes for Easter dinner. Well I waited till last minute to get the frozen hash brown potatoes I needed and I could not find them anywhere!! As a last ditch effort while I was picking up my ham loaf order I checked their freezer and sure enough they had some!! Brose's to the rescue!

Food is great and I love their chicken salad. The owner is great and willing to chip ribeye for me so I can make cheese steaks. Can't wait to order some soon.

Update(2020): As we still do recommend Brose’s, their attitude has really changed. They are extremely short to us with barely any personality, like we are almost bothering them. It’s very uncomfortable to even walk in there. They have never once even acknowledged our daughter when we come in. We like their products but it’s super uncomfortable.(2019)We just moved into the neighborhood and stopped by! They were so friendly to us and welcoming! Wonderful Ham loaf!

I never knew this place existed until I happened to stumble upon it on facebook. I will be coming here for my meats, soups, etc.. The employees are very nice and welcoming. Quality food and great prices!

When you are buying meat in 1-5 lbs. quantities - you are safe and they do have the best ham loafs (I am told - I don't eat the stuff). If you buy in large quantities, be careful if you do not SEE the meat. This is what happened to us - we bought 25-30 lbs. of burger (the hubby likes to cook all kinds of things and freeze them for meals later). When I came home from work, he showed me the bottle filled with grease and liquid residue - disgusting. I presume to have a little of this come from the meat, but this much? No, what they did was most likely add blood and water to add weight. Good luck. I won't go back. I'll go to Farm Market - they have more of a variety anyway. Oh and I did write a letter to Broses, never to be contacted with an explanation or an apology. I should mention that I usually spent about $200 a month in this place.

Unfortunately a few members of my family enjoy your ham loaf, but thanks to the poor treatment of my husband and son upon pickup, I now have an excuse to never serve your ham loaf again! There is zero excuse for horrible customer service. It is not hard to be nice or maintain composure when your organization goes awry.

All I have to say is ham loaf, ham loaf, ham loaf. The rest of the goods in the case are excellent as well. Recomend the pre made bacon cheddar burger patties. The smoked cheese is great as well.

The employees behind the meat and lunchmeat counter are EXTREMELY RUDE! They make you feel like you are an inconvenience! The lady pretty much slams your stuff down with a rude...anything else....this is not the first time! Its,ashame not sure If She is an employee or owner but this lady needs fired she is ignorant!

Won't EVER go back after experiencing the lady that waited on me today!!! Very unprofessional and unless you enjoy being talked about in front of you and having looks exchanged between workers is your type of thing DON'T go there!!! I'll stick to Miller's Meats where I normally go or the Butler Farmers market!!!!

Everything you need and when you add-on that they Butcher Meat, it’s the perfect location for this Superette.The quality and freshness of the meat and poultry is outstanding.
