Friendly staff but the store has poor excuse for a produce section in comparison to its nearest competitors. As an Instacart Shopper, I often times must refund items that are not available. Weis Markets is trying so hard to eliminate man labor by with more self check out. In my neighboring areas, surveillance video and customer surveys will quickly prove that it does not serve the consumer base. Certain consumers are not going to comply or adapt and they are annoyed by such gestures. Corporate greed. Same may be said for their prices. The Zionists are taking over every small town.

Felt so welcoming and had a big variety. I was greeted by a store manager i believe his name was toby. Very kind and friendly and helped me find an item for my mother i was unable to find. Walked me right to it. He made a difference in my trip!!

Very nice store, clean and well-stocked! Prices were a bit high for my taste, but I guess that's pretty much everywhere u go...however, Weis CANNOT b beat when it comes to their meat and bakery departments!!

I love the store but I'm disabled and my tiny support dog had an accident and the cleaning lady was very nasty to me and my grandson. I apologized 10 times! Isn't that her job? I didnt see my dog go or I would have cleaned it myself! Fact!

I always enjoyed shopping here over the years. Nice to see they did some remodeling on the place a few years ago as well. I was also surprised to see that they sell alcohol in the store, as I know they worked really hard to get through a bunch of hurdles in order to do it.Very friendly employees all across the board there too. Even though some of their departments aren't all that big, they know how to make the best use of what they've got. And for that, they should be commended.Sometimes, if you come on the right day, or look around hard enough, you might come across some really fantastic deals that will blow you away!

I put up with the high prices for several years because I appreciated the good selection (including hard to find items) and generally good service. However, since the installation of the "self-checkout" stands, there seems to be consistently fewer standard lines open. The final straw for me was seeing 1 line open while 3 employees stood talking at the customer service counter. If they expect people to scan and bag their own groceries why aren't the prices lower? I go to Aldi's and only come here when I absolutely have to now.

I tried to call the mentioned number but apparently, there is a long waiting list. Whomever answered this review is another "pass the buck" employee. Why doesn't that person take care of the problem? BTW, nice canned response.I agree with the other 2-star review. This store is as or more expensive than some city stores. Management is awful, lines are consistently long in the afternoon when most people are through work. Like the 2 other stores in this ghost town, the selection is abysmal A whole aisle for junkie cereal and junkie snack food and 1/2 aisle for vegetables. Checkers are always begging for MORE money to "donate". Maybe if their prices were lower, they wouldn't have to. Why doesn't Weis donate? It is very harassing. Checkout is slow because each item of produce has to be rung up separately.I cringe every time I have to grocery shop here.As expensive as Weis is, they are constantly out of regular products. Like Perdue chicken. I had to get the Weis brand,, which is gristly. I also have gotten fruit that look fine at the store and ate it the same day and part of it was rotten. I cannot wait to move back to civilization.

Love Weis! Parking is becoming a problem though! I buy a lot of my families food here it can be hard with four kids and sometimes two carts to park near the store and a cart return.

Weis in lewistown usually has decent enough prices and workers, however I advise you to do self checkout because they can just as easily overcharge or refuse to scan your coupons when they check you out, which always happens at this location. They don’t care if you get your clearly discounted items for listed price they will just charge the original price anyway.

Normally the pizza is great but today I had to deal with a woman that didn't want to work and ended up with a disgusting pizza. It was not cooked completely 3 times the normal sauce and all the topping in one spot. For now on I will pass on ordering when this person is working.

Not much different than a standard Weis, but the management was very nice when my son's scout group did the Weis tour a few months ago. They actually put together a fun little tour package with some things for the kids to do (make pizza and a cupcake) as well as some little souvenirs.

The store itself is nice. However, the checkout is always a nightmare. Why is it a nightmare?? Because they NEVER have enough checkout lanes open! Two, maybe 3, lanes will be open with customers 5-6 deep....and management personnel just walking around dippity doo. I have never seen a management personnel take the initiative to open a new lane to ease the congestion.

Prices higher than GIANT nowadays & I stopped buying chicken from there long ago. Local shop Wilson's Meats is a much better option for fresh meats.

Good store, clean, and organized. It just seems there is never enough staff to check everyone out no matter when I am there. There are no self checkout lines at this location. If you are in a hurry go to Giant up the hill they have self check out and correct staffing.

I. Went to weis store becase thats the only place i can get aprim rib roast when i want one and i also got some other good deals with my ecoupons I love Weis because u can find things there that other places donot have .I love there donuts and the different ice cream they have
