I was referred to Hilltop Amimal Hospital by a personal friend who is in the medical supply side of animal medicine. This person has a Tri-state territory that he has serviced for the past 15 years. I took his credited advice and traveled 45 minutes to visit this vet practice. Just as I was told, I found staff and Doctors to be friendly, knowledgeable, easygoing and welcoming. Covid-19 protocol was being practiced. I was anxious about not being able to go in with my new pup. However, that faded fast as my dog was so excited to get out of the car and go with the kind and playful staff (pictured hyper pup at Hilltop). The Doctor was so friendly! She spoke with me honestly and cleared treatment options with me before treating. My Pup left Hilltop Animal Hospital happier and healthier! I am a big fan!!

Very happy they accepted a new patient since 2 other vets were not. The care my dog received was timely, professional, and compassionate. The treatment is working well, so I would say they are knowledgeable and skilled. The environment was clean and comfortable.

I love this place. My daughter dog was in very bad shape. This place gave care to her puppy like no other vet I have ever been to. This vet is top notch. I loved the ladys they didn't leave you in the dark they left you know every thing they was doing. Best vet ever.

The staff here is friendly and caring, they show true love for the animals. Our puppy is shy toward strangers, but the girls here took extra steps to make her more comfortable and to feel less scared. The doctor even sat on the floor with our Ellie to clip her nails and check her out since she was so nervous at first. The care we've seen here is impeccable...by far the best animal clinic we've found in the Pittsburgh area. Thank you for what you do.

We switched over to this vets office after feeling like just another number at another office.The entire staff is great with my animals, and my kids when we go in. They were very helpful when we had issues with our Corgi, giving all options and trying everything that they could to help him.They know our animals by name, everyone is friendly and full of knowledge, there is plenty of parking and a large waiting room too. They host events throughout the year and have a lot of information about pets on screens throughout the office.We love Hilltop!

Went for my two pups yearly check ups. As always, excellent care and customer service. We will continue to go here as my pups don't seem as nervous as they were at our old vet hospital. Staff is wonderful!

The staff and doctor I saw today were very friendly! I came to them looking for a second opinion about a possible heart murmur from a previous vet who only berated me like a child for having a German Shepherd. The staff here at Hilltop, loves my puppy! They were kind to me, sweet to the little guy, understanding of the situation and knowledgeable about the condition and his breed. She (the vet) even went to get a free third opinion from the other veterinarian in the office to give me peace of mind that it was only a grade 2 murmur that my pup would grow out of. Definitely coming back here!

Everyone is kind and pleasant. Very good and prompt customer service. I had previously had a miscommunication with a bill for my dog’s recent surgery and the issue was resolved in less than 24 hours, which was a much welcomed and needed surprise (I don’t think this would have happened with a larger company). Not happy with my experience with this vet hospital. Month wait times for a simple health check appointment for a rabbit and another month or more if your pet needs to be neutered? Be upfront and just tell people it will take 2 - 3 months to have the pet neutered if you visit this office.

After seeing so many great reviews about these guys I thought it would be ok to bring my cat to them after he was hit by a car. That was a mistake to say the least. They told us they were all booked up and wouldn't even look at him. They were not willing to help my poor cat. We live so close but I would rather travel with my animals if that is how they feel about helping them. I would rate ZERO if I could!!!

I really like the Veterinarians at Hilltop Animal Hospital.. The great care they give my pups and how they take the time to answer all my questions and concerns. The staff are all so kind caring and very helpful. I would highly recommend this office for the best quality care to all your beautiful pets.

Hilltop is wonderful! They take very great care of our fur baby and understand that he isn’t just a pet, he is our family. They are always available to answer questions and reassure me that my pet is in good hands. Their recent addition of Dr. Betlem makes Hilltop even more desirable and he is a great addition to Dr. Stetter. All staff here deserve a pat on the back for their continuous care of our animals and also their donations to local shelters.

I am so happy with everyone at Hilltop. We were just there today. They fit us in so my dog would not have to suffer from a double ear infection over the long holiday weekend. We have 3 dogs, one has a seriously condition, called Addisons Disease. Everyone has been so great helping us with this and keeping us informed. They are so good with Gracie, that Gracie can’t wait to go see them. I feel so blessed to have them as our vet. 12-29-17

It has been almost 7 mths since we lost our doggie. Hilltop treated me Awesome. I have no complaints. Anytime I needed something. They found a way to get a hold of me. It was hard to even look this address up and seeing the Building .Oreo loved going to visit.. Hilltop saved Oreos life when she was a puppy . They are the most reasonable prices and who even minds paying when these animals are part of our families.Thank you so much Hilltop Animal Hospital.

The team at Hilltop is the best. Every time we are there we not only get excellent care for our pets but they take good care of the humans as well. I came there with my older German shepherd with a skin condition. They diagnosed her right away and with just 2 visits she was so much better. Dakota has more life in her than when we rescued her, and that is all due to hilltop animal hospital. Thank you guys.

they are one of the few vets in this general area who can take exotic pets and actually know what they’re talking about. my lizard passed away a few months ago and they sent their apologies through a card, which was very thoughtful for them to go through, and everybody in the office signed it. Dr. Bentlem (i don’t know if i spelled it correctly) is very knowledgeable about exotic pets and is very honest. the office workers have gotten me in on a very short notice, almost the day of, & they take matters very seriously and it’s always appreciated.

Re-rating this joke of a vet. 2 weeks before Christmas these people gave my family an ultimatum about one of our pets - wanting hundreds of dollars from us or they wouldn’t refill our pet’s medicine. When we explained that we could not afford this during the holidays, they closed our account and are refusing service/to continue our pet’s necessary meds. Clearly this vet does not care about the health and well-being of your pets, they are all about the money. Horrible!!______________________________________________Every person at this vet is rude, disconnected, and lacking empathy when dealing with pet owners. They also lack the understanding of people who are low-income and on a fixed budget. It is $50 to walk through the door. Which is coincidental as WV is one of the poorest states in the nation. If they up the empathy and make their care more affordable to those who need it, then I would change my rating.

What kind of "Animal Hospital" is closed on the weekends? we have a time sensitive medical emergency, that could have been treated had these idiots been open on the weekends.Prices are great, and when it's all you can afford it's better than nothing, but the damage was already done, and likely cannot be reversed. Since the situation is worse they might charge MORE to treat it, i would not be surprised at all... If you got the money, go elsewhere. Do your pet a favor and avoid this place if you can. While this "hospital" takes the weekends off, your pet's medical problems sure wont.
