I've experienced several issues at this pharmacy, and I believe there's significant room for improvement. The service often feels slow, which might be due to understaffing or inefficient processes. Additionally, I've observed instances where the staff made errors in medication handling. For example, I witnessed a situation where a pharmacist incorrectly told a patient about her medication quantity, only realizing the mistake after reviewing their records. This raises concerns about accuracy and reliability. Enhancing staff training and reviewing operational procedures could greatly benefit the pharmacy's service quality and customer trust.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at the CVS in Bryn Mawr. Their consistent failure to answer the phone and apparent disregard for customer time and needs is unacceptable. The slow pace of the staff, including both the pharmacists and the checkout personnel, contributes to unnecessary delays. Pharmacy work, while important, should be handled more efficiently. The staff's attitude often comes across as unhelpful, giving the impression that customers are an inconvenience. I strongly suggest that management takes immediate action to address these issues, potentially reevaluating staff performance and customer service protocols to ensure a better experience for all customers.

One of your store associates after saying multiple times I do not need assistance consistently haggle me for assistance. I had to switch to another self checkout machine. It was nothing wrong with the machine. It was my payment method, but she kept haggling me and forced me out-of-the-way after I went to the new machine to pay because she was wasting my time and entirely, she then put her hands on me, tapping me on the shoulder with medium force, which is extremely rude. You can watch this video playback footage on your surveillance cameras in store if you’d like it was about the time that I’m posting this review within the last 15 minutes.

Terrible pharmacy. Lots of time spent every month to get my monthly prescriptions filled--they are nothing unusual. The app is never correct. Every month the pharmacy has to re-input my GOODRX savings, which takes an extra 30 min at the pharmacy. They never answer the phone--I have to go in to the pharmacy in person. It's just awful.

I cannot say worse things about this pharmacy. I’d rather drive to a better one further away than deal with this location again. It’s so frustrating, this is medication. I need to be able to trust my pharmacy

Didn’t have medication for my daughter they were supposed to. After a long wait, told me to go to another window to see why they didn’t have it. Stood at that window for a long time with staff constantly walking by. Eventually told the window was not staffed and I needed to go somewhere else.

They're the slowest CVS I've ever been to even though they aren't normally busy. Every time I've called them about a prescription I've been put on hold for AT LEAST 30 minutes with no exageration. I'm writing this review while on hold for the past 43 minutes.

Wish there were zero stars. Unfortunately, CVS is a preferred pharmacy on my plan. I tried to call to make sure they had my updated insurance information, and just could not stay on hold any longer. Went to the store to pick up my medication, a refrigerated medication, and it was not refrigerated,m They wanted to charge me when the medication should have been zero dollars. When I asked about making sure my insurance info was updated the person mumbled something and walked away. Another technician started helping someone else, and I asked about the guy that was helping me. She told me it had to be approved, and that they were waiting for the pharmacist to come back. The original guy couldn’t have told me that? Then I had to go to drop off and wait in that line. This pharmacy has been going downhill for years, and is hitting rock-bottom. Staff is worse and worse. If it wasn’t a preferred pharmacy, I would not set foot in there. In general, they are over priced and inefficient. Awful company. As much as I can, I support my local independent pharmacy. Better prices, faster service, and nicer people.

The customer service at this pharmacy is some of the worst I have ever seen. If you have a question that can't be answered using the automated phone system, plan to drive over to ask it because they never answer the phone. My son needed a prescription that his doctor called in Monday. After MANY attempts to contact the pharmacy by phone, I drove over on Thursday and was told it was out of stock and was ordered that morning. Not only was I not notified of this, I'm not sure why it took a full 3 days for them to order his medication. We are switching to Rite Aid for our pharmacy needs from now on.

This pharmacy does not answer their phone and it is so frustrating. I needed to transfer my prescription since moving, which can't be done on the app. After countless times calling and being put on hold forever, I had to drive over an hour there and back to do it in person.

Are negative stars an option? I’m a stage 4 cancer patient who was discharged from the hospital today. My oncologist called in a prescription while I was inpatient 48 hours in advance of my discharge. This location has had two business days to fill the prescription and either can’t, won’t, or doesn’t know how. The gross negligence at this location is appalling.The final straw was the Pharmacist I spoke to in the phone now. Flat out refused to help me find another local that had the prescription in stock and only kept repeating that “it would be in tomorrow” while providing zero assurances that tomorrow would be any different than the last two days they’ve had to fill it. Then without trying to provide any solution or the slightest bit of empathy decided to hang up on me.This location has been going down hill for a long, long time and I couldn’t recommend it to anyone in good faith. Please don’t make the mistake I did and ever use this pharmacy for anything.

Today I purchased items at CVS in Bryn Mawr but when I got home they forgot to put one of my items in the bag. I had to go back again and they did not give me a receipt. Not sure how you could return anything without one. They told me i had to ask for a re eipt. Never had that happen before. Someone had to go to another area to print out a receipt. I asked them for a coupon for my aggravation and just got sorry. Riteaid has my business now.

I needed an urgent tetanus shot and rearranged my Saturday to make the MinuteClinic appointment. Even though I scheduled/selected that I needed the tetanus shot specifically, once I arrived I was told they did not have the booster and to try the ER or the pharmacy. I was rushed out of the room so I walked over to the pharmacy who told me to book another appointment. I told them the situation and they had me sit down while they checked for a vaccine. After 20-30min of waiting, and seeing that they were closing up, I went back over to the counter. The pharmacist forgot I was waiting until I mentioned it again and then told me they didn't have it.After CVS wasted my entire day I didn't have many options to find the tetanus booster and they were not willing/interested in helping me locate it at another store. In the future I will be driving twice as far to avoid this location at all costs.

Their covid testing is weird. So its a small box as big as a small uhaul truck. The door has traditional handles which means to get inside and get tested, you have to touch the handle that pretty much only suspected positives have touched. So even if you get a negative, you might've just caught it while getting tested. You can't make this stuff up.

If I could give Zero I would. Stay away. Pharmacy is an absolute wreck. Call in my prescription and am told it is in and will be filled same day. Go in the NEXT day and it’s not filled. Oh they have the meds but they just decided not to fill it. Three times in under six months. Then I have to go in, place the order and wait nearly an hour. Don’t call the pharmacy they don’t pick up the phone. Called national complaints and THEY couldn’t get through.Update; spoke with regional director on the phone and was told ‘ there are educational opportunities with the staff.’ I now go to Parvins.

Do not go here. They are so overcrowded they regularly make mistakes like not running prescriptions through insurance, not refilling the correct amount, and messing up order status. You typically cannot get a prescription filled same day here. The line for prescriptions is regularly 10 or more minutes long. The hold times if you call are 30 minutes or more. The staff are sometimes rude. I'm sure they are overwhelmed, but they need to cap the number of customers they allow to fill with their pharmacy, because it's creating too many problems.

After an hour on hold for the pharmacy, the pharmacy tech was very rude and placed me back on hold in mid-sentence when providing the information she asked for. When I was able to get another tech on the phone, I could hear the previous tech mocking me in the background. I asked for the manager's name and they refused to provide saying they don't have a manager at that store. I have moved my prescriptions to a customer friendly pharmacy. Very disappointing, I can see why it is so poorly rated.

Sloppy and careless stuff at the pharmacy. Who cares if you have shiny makeup stands... if you can't handle prescription and insurance properly.There is always something wrong, something missing... they forgot to put in a detail, they give the wrong information, and not even curious about it. Script was called in Friday was not ready. Spotted in Saturday I was told they never received it. Received text on Saturday pm that it was ready. Went to pick up Sunday at 5:08, was told pharmacy was closed. I explained that I was sick and needed medication, WE ARE CLOSED., even though there were two people in line and no one behind me. Person who was rude and uninterested in hearing my dilemma should not be working with the public. He refused to give me his last name and told me that call corporate. I am done with CVS

The young staffs who looked like college students were polite. When I visited here at 10:53 PM to buy a CR2025 battery, they told me that the store will close at 11 PM. I bought the battery but could not open it without scissors, so I went back to the store at 10:58 PM and the staffs unboxed the battery for me. At 11:00 PM, all the lights went out, but they just laughed and continued to unbox my battery. Then they told me “Good Night” and I successfully changed my car key’s battery.

I have never in my life had such terrible customer service. My daughter is a student at a college near this CVS. Being 1500 miles from home, it is really important to me that she get her medications accurately and promptly. Every time I have a prescription called in for her there, there is some sort of problem. And as frustrating as that already is, the staff there have consistently been unhelpful and rude. She has left there twice in tears. After the last issue I called myself to speak to them, and by the end of the conversation they nearly had me in tears, too. It is amazing how unhelpful, unpleasant, disagreeable, abrupt, discourteous, and uncivil the pharmacy department is. Anyone can have a bad day, but this has happened every single time. I've moved her prescriptions to a different pharmacy and warn everyone to beware of this place. It is just shameful how little they care about people.

I really love the pharmacists here, they are really concerned that you are safe and taking the right meds/vitamins for your needs and I always appreciate their care. There is also this really nice man Joseph who oversees the new HUB and he is just so friendly! I've also had many good experiences with their minute clinic clinicians. It's an especially nice CVS to visit since their recent renovation!

You are better off getting prescriptions delivered from another CVS than you are walking to this one. Regardless of convenience, these people pay little mind to their customers. If you try to call to discuss an insurance problem, they don’t pick up the phone. They pay little mind to the nature of prescriptions, chucking them out like a monotonous factory rather than investing in a client’s care. I learned far more about my own prescriptions and their potential effects from the CVS in Newtown Square than I ever could have here.In addition, this monotonous factory of a CVS is its own monster within the arena of the health insurance system. You have even the slightest frustration in their presence, their face of a particularly large man with a beard makes the excuse of “people have died, people are losing their relatives.” As if that is an excuse for their own attitudes and their lackluster service. Take any and all prescription-based business elsewhere. We already have enough of a bungle to deal with in this nightmarish healthcare system. This CVS consistently makes it worse.

There is an issue between this CVS and another CVS pharmacy and they want me to resolve the issue. I keep calling back and forth because they refuse to do it and I dont have the answers as to why my prescription was transfered to another CVS. This is something they should be doing. They created the problem, why am I supposed to fix their Internal problem. It is really making me more upset when the pharmacist keeps telling me he did not create the problem and is taking no responsibility for someone else at CVS who created the problem.

If i could give this place negative stars, I would. The staff is rude, the pharmacy is unprofessional and unreliable. It will randomly close outside of their hours, they will “forget”to fill your prescription for several days, they will lose your scripts, which is digital so I don’t know how you even do that. Horrible. Every single time i go there, I leave frustrated.

Nothing against the employees here (though the extra star is due to the availability of self-checkouts), but as a corporation CVS with Caremark has pulled off the unenviable feat of becoming so monopolistic its pharmacy is no longer functional. Rite Aid and the coupla mom-and-pops still around never have much of a wait.

Store Manager, Joan, is just a doll! I saw her across the store lifting heavy boxes. I dropped something off the shelf. Don’t you know that young manager dropped what she was doing to come over n help me pick up my item. She went out of her way! That young lady is just a doll like I said. She’s always there working hard. I couldn’t be any happier with the level of service she provided. As a retail worker myself, her store is always neat and organized. Very impressed with the sales volume how she handles herself and her minimal staff. Miss Joan deserves a raise! I’d give her 7 stars!

Terrible experience everytime I have went. Staff is not organized and does not care. Everytime I pick up a prescription it was not there or there was no communication from them I need a consultation. The voice machine online is inaccurate. Will not be coming here again.
