Our dog came down with an eye infection on Friday night after my Vet closed for the long New Years weekend. We couldn't ignore it for 4 days so on Saturday morning we frantically searched for someone who would help. After numerous refusals, we reached out to Bryn Mawr Vet. Not only were we relieved to find they were open, but estatic that they were happy to squeeze us in. Again, this was the Saturday before New Years Eve! The entire staff was extremely kind and caring. The office was spacious, clean and welcoming. Doctor Greenamyer was wonderful. She gently and thoroughly examined our dog's eye, immediately identified the issue and explained to us what it was, much to our relief. With the meds she perscribed, our dog's eye began to clear up nicely. We can't expres how grateful we are to the Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital (my dog's new Vets, BTW), Dr. Greenamyer and the staff.

I had been avoiding going to the vet I had used for decades because the old owners were gone. Dr Munden was highly recommended. I had several issues I was concerned about and felt guilty that I hadn’t gone sooner. I was also concerned about the bill. My old vet was 250 just to walk in . I’m serious. Dr.Munden and her associates were unbelievable. Knowledgeable, kind , understanding, kind , compassionate and let me decide how, when and what I wanted to do about my girls care and follow up. The price for the visit and believe me - they went the extra mile ~ was a bill I could pay and do it easily. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you 🙏

Wow!! This place is absolutely amazing! Everyone was so very friendly and helpful, my guinea pigs were treated with care, and the doctor listened to the reason for their visit. I was anxious myself during the visit, and the staff even helped calm me down. :) It was an AMAZING experience and I am sooo happy to have found Bryn Mawr Vet!! Thank you so much!!

My poor young dog woke up limping (very badly) on the day after Thanksgiving. I am so grateful they squeezed us in and diagnosed him immediately with LYME disease !Amazingly, after one dose of medicine, he was practically his old self. The next day he was running around perfectly !!! Yay !!!!We have used this practice for multiple pets over many years, and they’re always professional and responsive. My dog Henry has been a patient at Bryn Mawr for 3 years, we are so sad to leave due to moving. We have loved every provider we have seen! They are always fast and able to get me in a lot of times same day for sick visit or within the next day which has been a lifesaver. We have been so pleased with the care our pet has received from Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital, and in particular Dr. West. We always get such thoughtful and thorough analysis of symptoms, and I think the pricing is very fair. Our dog has had everything from vaccines and routine visits to major surgery through Bryn Mawr Vet, and each and every time I felt like he was in the best hands. The front desk staff is so friendly and warm, too.

Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital called two days after a sick visit to follow up on the condition of my pup. I appreciate so much that they took the time to see Mandy's care through. I move a lot, about every 1–2 years and this is the only vet (out of five), and the only medical practice, human or vet (out of 30+), that has made this a part of the practice. This veterinarian truly is a health care center. They have boarding, grooming, bathing, and day care too which makes me feel very comfortable about dropping my dog off for other needs knowing it's part of a thorough veterinary practice.

Avoid this place at all costs.They had my very good friend on a 2 month long waiting list to get his dog neutered, and the day before his appointment quoted him 1200$. Keep in mind, this a perfectly healthy dog, no complications what so ever. They also offered no payment plan at all. I called every single vet and animal hospital in the nearby area and the highest I got quoted was 600$. From my perspective it seems like they are taking advantage of the fact that my friend had already waited 2 months for this appointment. I am sorry my friend got played by this animal hospital, I hope this message saves somebody else from making the same mistake.

I have so much confidence in the care that Brynn Mawr has for my cat. Dr. Bebee is just truly an animal lover as well as the entire staff. The best part is that you can tell they are super collaborative, I see Dr. Bebee but I got test results from another doctor since they came in on a day she was out and he wanted to call ASAP even though it was just to let me know that everything was okay. Price really is not bad at all for the smaller things I’ve had done for my best friend.

This place has been a godsend for us. We have a mini schnauzer with a number of health issues, not the least of which is diabetes. Finding someone to take care of him when we go away used to be a very stressful process. Then we started using the medical boarding here and it has been such a relief. We’ve boarded him at Bryn Mawr three or four times so far, and each time it’s been great. Our dog has a pretty complicated schedule of eating and getting medication, but they always seem to make it work. They bathe him when he’s there longer than three or four days and they send picture updates via texts during his stay. We do not use Bryn Mawr as our vet so I cannot speak to that experience, but boarding our dog here has been phenomenal.

My puppy Vinny loves going to Doggy Daycare here. The price is very competitive with other local options, and I have peace of mind knowing he's in a vet's office if anything were to happen. The staff is always friendly and attentive. When I pick Vinny up, he's happy and tired out from playing all day.

I take my Dog Suri to daycare on a regular basis. She has a great time and is treated very well. Rock who runs the daycare is great with the dogs along with the rest of the staff. I also use the vet side as well for Suri and Dr. GallagherDeals with her even though she is very challenging at the vet. Dr. Gallagher is fantastic. The front office staff are great too, I am very satisfied with my overall experiences here and recommend it to anyone looking for a full service vet to take care of their family pet. Oh yeah, Boarding is great too. MY Dog is very protective (German Shepherd) and since she is treated like family there, she feels comfortable when I have to leave her.Thanks, Bryn Mawr Vet.

Fabulous Job- First of all the place is spotless and odorless, and I have been in many vet practices over the past 20 years. Second, the level of expertise appears excellent and very logical. Third, in surgery, the team took some proactive steps that I didn't ask for but were fabulous- cleaning infected ears and cutting nails that would be difficult on this dog when alert. Last, I have found the poor hospitals and the good ones charge about the same, so pick wisely!

I was referred to Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital by a neighbor and so happy I was. I saw Dr. Chambers and she couldn't have been nicer. My 15 1/2 year old westie was very sick and she took a lot of time diagnosing what she thought was the problem. We saw her 3 days in a row and she did everything we asked and had some very good advice. I used my permanent vet in Florida for over 40 years and I would say that I felt equally comfortable with Dr. Chambers. The front desk staff was also top notch. These girls that I dealt with were very accommodating on very short notice. I am extremely happy and will always use them when I am in the Havertown area.Nancy Heyman

In the past 3 months, Bryn Mawr Vet has changed dramatically for the worse. First of all all the vets left the practice but one. All the reception area staff left and there are a few new people learning as they go along. My call are not answered. My veterinary appointments are registered incorrectly as “routine” for a medical concern (a lump in my poodles mammary gland), “routine exam” for a booster; they seem to out of medications which the single remaining veterinarian recommends, then says, oops, we don’t have that, but you can use this instead??? I have taken all of my pets here for decades and after today’s incident, I am shopping for a new vet; my poodle’s heart medication was supposed to be refilled, I called to make sure and was told we will call you when it is ready and was never accredited. I just got off the phone with the receptionist after being told, oops, another mix up, the med had been put on the list to refill, but hadn’t been. The remaining vet is still excellent and I appreciate the practice of giving vaccines in my presence (other vets take the animal to another room what is that all about???). Sad, but looks like this excellent practice is another COVID victim.

My Boxer had a nasty problem that I won't go into, but I called Bryn Mawr Vet. They got me an appointment that morning and Dr. Cantner explained the problem with my Dog. They had to operate and keep her for a few days, so I asked how much it would cost. They took the time to explain the options and I did not think it was more expensive than my previous vet, especially considering that they bathed her and babysat her for 2 days. They also had a really nice staff, a clean facility, and they called to confirm my follow up appointment. My physician could learn a few things from them.
