I suggest don't ever go to this place if you want to buy just alcohol cuz you will wait a very long time because they don't enforce any limits for people bringing food into the alcohol line. I sat behind two customers with full carts of food 40 plus items or more easily and I sit there and wait for them just to buy two drinks and there were two people ahead of me full carts to something they don't enforce because they don't care about people who buy alcohol they just care about their food customers.side note: I must be a glutton for punishment because I went back to this location and they had signs in their beer section that said two of these tallboy seltzer cans were "2 for $10". But after checking each can individually is 5.00 anyways. Do they assume people cant count? Seems like a shady marketing Ploy tactic. This is already the second strike against this location.

This Acme is big than some others. The isles are bigger. Staff is helpful. They don't have things that my favorite Acme has, but they do have other things.The staff seem happy to be here.I'm not a fan at all of the parking lot. Idk what they can do about it. I think the best thing to do is not to go after work, during rush hour. Otherwise, I'd either avoid it or park at the side lot, further from the entrance. There's more room there.

Why do some cashiers at the Bryn Mawr ACME decide they don’t want to wait on customers with a lot of items?(47 for me on this trip). Since I spend plenty of money here every week, bring my own bags and help bag my own groceries, I didn’t appreciate a scowling older white male I encountered today at the only open non-alcohol checkout aisle. After he first walked away from the register for several minutes, he began checking my items, letting some fall to the floor near him while I picked them up. He started to put some items in paper bags even though there were some of my bags still available. When I asked him if he charged me for the paper bags used, he said ‘what does it matter?’ He was very rude and unpleasant. ACME should discourage this type of behavior by their employees. Customers can shop elsewhere with more courteous service,and I didn’t deserve to be treated this way.

Grocery Pickup is a terrible experience. On multiple occasions I have arrived, clicked the pickup button, and no one has come out with my groceries. Both the number in the app, and the numbers posted on the pickup area, either ring forever or give "full mailbox" messages. When I finally go inside and track someone down to give me my groceries, it is clear that they have, at best, one person in charge of grocery pickup. Apparently if that person disappears, no one picks up the slack - and apparently they like to disappear for 30 minutes at a time. It's incredible that the store can hang a dozen signs touting their pickup service, and then have such an atrocious offering. Don't get me started on their substitutions either - poor on the best of days. It's quite literally faster to drive 15 minutes to the next grocery store than do pickup at ACME.

Conveniently located in midtown Bryn Mawr, this store is vital to this community. Store is on the smaller size of Acmes but manages to include a large selection of products. Produce, deli, dairyand meats departments are super clean and fully stocked. Store layout is logical and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Have shopped here for years and it's still great!!

The atmosphere of this place is very normal and friendly, and I have only had great interactions with the staff. When you need help with something, there is always someone willing to help you as soon as you need it. The layout of the store is very easy to understand, and there are signs everywhere that will tell you the specific location of each item. There is a large variety of items that you can buy, and it is my go-to place to shop if I need groceries. Overall, I would recommend this place to everyone if you need to shop for groceries and such!

Came in only to use the restroom facility. The women’s bathroom smelled as if they took their fragrant cleaning supply for the week, and used it all in one day. A Bruja-looking female, older woman, attempted to block me and my child from exiting the elevator with a shopping cart. An older Caucasian man came charging at myself and my child while we waiting for the elevator to open. He even attempted to act as if he was going for one of the lockers located in that area. The Bruja-looking older woman then stared at myself and my child as if we were her enemy. I gave her a look to let her know that I knew she was staring. It always amazes me how people respond to myself and my child, knowing that they are not the only beings upon this planet.

I go to this Acme because it's two minutes from my house. I have never liked it. I like it less now that they put beer and wine in it instead of expanding the already crowded aisles. No one ever seems willing to help and the deli people are downright RUDE. I purposefully go out of my way to either go to Giant or BJs if I need deli meat. I try to shop in it as little as possible but as I said it's convenient.

So unhappy with this store . The pharmacy staff, and grocery store associates create are unhelpful, unwelcoming and unfriendly even though they are one of the most expensive grocery chains. Every time I shop there, I feel as if they are doing me a favor for allowing me to spend my money.

Although the rest of the staff were pretty helpful, the one man behind the deli counter was pretty rude. When he asked my sister what he could get for her, she asked him to get her a half a pound of Swiss cheese. He asked her what kind and she responded, "Whatever is on sale." He snapped pretty rudely, "I DON'T KNOW PRICES!"We were really taken back.

The worst store. Avoid if possible. Staff is rude. The “deals” are a joke and impossible to actually take advantage of, and the digital coupons are not easy to use. Giant is a much better option.

Compared to the ACME's in Center City, this is a nice one. Granted, I was there after 9PM and it was peaceful. The produce area looked nice, full and organized. Looking for a fresh vegetable in a Center City ACME is an exercise in futility. Still, there was not a large selection of Organic produce and what they do have is much higher priced compared to their conventional produ e and much higher priced compared to Organic produce in stores such as Mom's Organic Market.

It's a great place not too crowded in the afternoon as much. Reasonable prices on food, about 10 cent difference between Walmart and them. Heard from the grape vine that they're hiring for 15 an hour particularly if you got cashier experience.

Simply put their prepared mango habanero chicken, dry as hell! That prepare chicken was drier than a desert any Desert very disappointed! It was dry. I purchased two packages of their eight piece. Dry as hell dry as hell. I threw it out! Waste of money

So crowded, all the plants were dead and inexplicably placed in the middle of the store. Everything was dirty & picked over, and it took like 10 min to find an employee who could point me to the greeting cards. Finally had to ask someone who was just clocking in; the place is so hectic & understaffed. Pay better to hire/retain enough workers to actually run this place… It’s like the Wild West and by far the worst, most stressful grocery store I’ve ever been to.

I visit this store several times each week. Stopped by today to buy some 16/20 Shrimp advertised in their weekly ad as on sale through today's date. The sale price didn't register at the self checkout kiosk. The manager brought me a sign showing the full price and didn't honor the advertised price. Bait and switch is getting bad at this location.

half of the deli and check out staff are good and the other half have been there forever and are unpleasant and unprofessional. A great variety of items once you learn the store layout but tedious and counter intuitive if you don't shop this location often.

I'll never figure out how Acme can always be priced so much higher than other local stores while also having mediocre offerings and shabby interiors. Of the Acme locations in my area, this one's middle of the pack.

The black girl manager there has a mental problem. I was doing door dash and she literally took her time helping the cashier to ring me up. Then she finally comes and say thanks for your patience and hello, hello forcing me to say something to her, I have never been treated like that in a store, my fiance said I should file a complaint on her, but I decided to give that acme a bad review because they need to do better in there.

Nothing super great, nothing super poor. It's a small store, the prices are high to me, selection is good, organic produce section is well stocked, healthy food section is also good, prepared food section has your staples and smells great, but I haven't used it (though I did want to buy a whole ice cream cake and eat it about an hour ago). The store is definitely "cozy", expect to bump into carts and people a lot but it's not a huge deal. If you drive there's plenty of parking and easy to get to. Checkout lines move along nicely, self checkout lanes are appreciated and operational. If you need a run of the mill trip to the store, you'll do fine here.

Cashier wouldn't let me leave until I gave her my phone number to prove that my card payment went through even though at the self checkout even though I told her I could show her on the receipt and my phone that it did. That is just ridiculous!

This is one of my local grocery stores that I frequent in the area. They always have a great selection of fresh produce, meats, and cooked food. There are weekly deals you can find online or in the circular. The flower department is good too if you need last-minute gifts. The only thing they need is a pharmacy

I wish I could give 0 start .Today I tried to purchase lose garlic and it clearly says 79 cents per Lb - I have the picture but their website doesn't give me an option to upload. At the register the associate said that it should have been "each" not per pound. I showed the picture, she went to go check herself and came back she said she will correct. And what she did? She corrected to each! I asked if she was joking and said I won't be paying by each. We called the store manager, he argued the same.Not only argued but he was rude. I never had this experience in any grocery store and certainly will not be going to that store.BTW I went to the store's website and among the topics to contact them, there were 10 options but non of them was "Complaints". I wonder if it's to deter the customers who didn't have a pleasant experience in the store. But it didn't stop me, provided the name of the manager to the corporate.

Don't depend on these folks!!! I finally was asked to help out for Easter dinner. I ordered online. I get there a half hour early and no one knew what I was talking about. Fast forward a manger is called. No one had a clue. So I showed the order receipt still...crickets...so the offer was to have them prep and then fry the chicken. So of course im panicking....soooo I gotta figure this out...so I call GIANT in king of Prussia near my home and by the time I got there my food was cooked, put in tins and I was supplied with place setting for 6!! Day saved by GIANT...ACME..never to be trusted with online order. Oh yea NATE the manager said he would send my "something" for the "error." Haven't heard from him. Shop elsewhere...
