Reviews from 5 years ago are no longer relevant to this store. Every front-end associate is rude. The distorted facial expressions, judgmental head shakes, and general lack of compassion for their community is astounding, and above all, disturbing. I’ve never been treated worse by a multitude of staff before. Not only has this been an ongoing issue for 2 years, it only seems to haven gotten worse the more I’ve shopped here and I’m very disappointed to call this my local store. Please review your staff and express how important being respectful towards the community is during their shift as it is a “customer service” job. You would think people working there for 10+ years would have that down pat by now.

The woman at Customer Service was beyond rude and not helpful by any means. Going in there and getting the treatment I got today reminds me why I do Walmart delivery. People wonder why everything is automated now...well it's because no one wants to deal with rude workers. I've worked almost my entire adult life in retail and there's no reason to treat people so poorly.

Recently remodeled. Items moved so it took a little time to find what I was looking for. Improved lay outThe store was clean and well stocked. Staff were busy with arriving merchandise. Some isles were blocked or cramped.Check out was pretty quick. The cashier was nice, polite and did her job wellThe store has improved.

I have been in this Walmart multiple times allow me to elaborate.My first visit here was many years back when I was out riding motorcycles with my friends.We stopped in to get something to drink and use the facilities.This was the cleanest Walmart that I've ever been in.No joking around, I have never seen such a clean Walmart ever.Take note that I have been in hundreds of Walmarts around the tri state area.Since then I have frequent this establishment on occasion over my local Walmart.Now mind you this drive is well over an hour in comparison to my local Walmart.That's how much I enjoy this Walmart.I actually adopted a puppy out that way a couple years ago.The person who had the puppy was from Uniontown area and I decided to meet them out here at this Walmart.I figured while we were there we could stop in and buy some puppy supplies.Which we did and I made a video on our family YouTube channel of our puppy in Walmart.Here is the link if you're interested...https://youtu.be/fBOhEo77zQg?feature=sharedAnytime nowadays when I plan a motorcycle ride I plan on passing this place.There is beautiful country out that way as well.

This walmart in Brownsville is by far better than the one closest to me in Belle Vernon, Don't mind driving the 25 minutes to get there versus 7 minutes!! This is cleaner, neater and friendlier! Some of the prices are lower too! It seems the customers are also nicer here! They are recently redoing the store so some shelves are empty but the store is coming along nicely!

I know that this is happening everywhere but it’s very annoying that the last two times I shopped here there were no human cashiers, only self serve. Why spend the money installing check out aisles if they are never open? I know some people don’t mind self checkouts, but I don’t like them. I have a business and I don’t expect my customers to come to my place and work for me.I would be okay with it if they offered a discount for doing it, but they should still have at least one cashier open at all times.The signs they have up say they’re making a better Walmart. Remains to be seen.

Yuck! Hubby making purchase so I went to the front restroom. 2 stalls had toilet bowls filled with TP, so I don't know if what was stuck in the bin in the first stall had anything to do with it. Can't imagine cleaning checks being done properly....

Renovation going on. Boy was this place confusing. Moving aisles around so you have to look more for your items instead walking straight path to look down aisles. Maybe next time it will be more convenient to shop vs right now.

I wanted to give 1 star, but I realized that is not completely fair. Most of the time they are great, but later at night it seems as though nobody wants to answer the phone. I normally don't do this kind of thing, but I ended up trying to call the online grocery pickup department 3 or 4 different times trying to let them know that I got a flat tire on my way to pick up my order (this was close to time for the department to close). I was checked in on my phone already and couldn't un-check myself, so I knew I needed to make sure that someone knew I couldn't pick up the order tonight. However, I ended up waiting about 20 to 30 minutes total (I'm not exaggerating) while calling multiple times to try and speak to someone. The last call I was finally able to make contact with a very nice lady I presume to be in customer service. She transferred me to the online grocery department again, and I waited for about 5 of those 20-30 minutes previously mentioned... Still no answer. I gave up. This is not the first time I've had issues trying to contact the department.

It's truly perplexing that Walmart hasn't taken more proactive steps to address this issue, given the potential impact on their customer base and overall reputation. Neglecting these concerns could have far-reaching consequences.The transition from smaller local grocery stores to larger chains like Walmart has been evident, but it's disconcerting when such transitions compromise the quality of products. Selling subpar food, particularly to vulnerable elderly individuals, is deeply troubling and disappointing.Ultimately, this comes down to responsibility and accountability. It's Walmart. However i will say that the kids that bring out our groceries when I do pickup are all great, hardworking, pleasant, kids. I always get out to help load my car and have probably met them all but I'm horrible with names or I'd give them the recognition. However I'm not lying by saying everyone of them has been great, known their stuff and were able to answer product availability questions. They're the reason i continue to chip at this Walmart and don't pick my stuff up at the one less than a minute from work.

Like this Wal-Mart. It's a little smaller, but has a good selection, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Only downside is the garden area, not much to choose from. Otherwise, great place

This Walmart would be better if it were a Super. Considering this is the only store in this area we deserve better.The store is always stocking. They never have the same stuff consistently. And the clothing should be better. They provide cheap things that look like it emphasizes low income areas.

Good selection of merchandise. Reasonably priced. Very convenient for folks who live in Brownsville and California and do not want to pay tolls on the turnpike. Self scan registers also make for relatively painless shopping trips if you only need a few items. Update: February 10, 2022. Still five stars - Walmart is adjusting to the times by offering contact free pick up of grocery orders. You just place the order online, park your vehicle, and they will unload your groceries into your vehicle for you. Thanks, Walmart. Update for April 2022 - Different day, same excellent service. Started shopping at the store again with the pandemic waning. Good selection of merchandise and the self scan registers make it very easy to go in and out. Update for August 2022 - different day, same excellent service. I normally use the Walmart Plus membership since I like getting my groceries delivered at no charge. On this occasion, I was just getting a few thing so I used the hand scan and pay on my cell phone. Made for an easy in and out process.

Customer service will come up with anything not to return your merchandise, even when ur standing there with a receipt purchased 2 hours earlier. Take it to any other Walmart no problem.

I got to Walmart at 7am the sign states they open at 6am no one was there. I had to stand waiting for someone to get to their post. This is ridiculous. If you open at at 6am you should be there at 6am, not 7:08 am.

I was checking out at the only human check out line and STILL…..one of their employees ask the cashier about scanning a few of my items. The cashier didn’t get to it yet!! This employee makes you feel uncomfortable any which they can. That was main reason why I go to a actual person check line to not uncomfortable as they did in self check out. They would breathe down my back checking out. I don’t know this employees name but it’s a older blond very thin woman. The sad thing is when you really need a employee for help they are never there but when you check out they are bunch of vultures.
