North Fork has been taking care of our golden puppies (now 4 & 2) and elderly Pomeranian (just turned 16) since they opened their doors. The front desk, techs, and vets are kind, caring, personable, understanding, and so knowledgeable. Our dogs get so excited and love going to the vet! They’ve done so much for our animals over the years; we wouldn’t trust them with anyone else. We are so thankful for Dr. Dan, Dr. Sara, and the NFVC staff!

Unfortunately my in-laws dog Tazz was very ill and needed to be put to sleep back in December and I must say the veterinary, Tech and staff were very compassionate and did what they could to help under the circumstances. Would recommend!RIP little man!

They are just nice and don't treat you like an imbecile. People are hurting when their animals are hurting. The vets and techs here are very empathetic. It's a nice change.

They’ve been very caring, responsive and helpful. My dog went into the first phase of dog labor on Friday and after 24hrs I called the emergency line to make sure it was ok it was taking so long. The doctor returned my message right away and reassured me that it’s ok for it to take that long to enter the second phase of whelping. She also let me know what to expect and watch for moving forward from there. It was so helpful to me to be able to hear from the doctor and not to worry about her process.

We just found our new vet !!!!Our Rottie got into a porcupine last night and "our" vet said they couldn't take him today. This made the 3rd emergency in 2 years that we've been blown off by the guy we've seen for 8 years.North Fork took us in. An absolutely PERFECT experience from the time I made the phone call until we walked out with a quill-free dog.The receptionists are AWESOME !!! The vet techs are AWESOME !!! The doctor was AWESOME !!!!Thank you SO MUCH to everyone at North Fork !!!!!

We have been taking our cats here for several years. The vets are wonderful. However, we are extremely disappointed that we have made several calls & left messages, with no one ever responding. Our son needed a vet for his cat over a year ago. I highly recommended Northfork. He called and left two different messages. No one ever returned his call. He then called the Jefferson Vet on 28 & they returned his call within a couple of hours. He went there for help with his cat. Northfork never did return his call. A friend of ours needed her pet neutered. Once again, I recommended Northfork. Same thing. She called and never received a call back. This is not good. I also just recently had a friend that had her pet there for surgery. She told me she was disappointed that she never got a call checking on her cat. I am very happy with the vets, but what is going on with the answering system? Once again, very pleased with the vets and the care they show, but not getting why their answering system is so bad?

I LOVE THIS PLACE!When our bloodhound was hit by a car they gave us top notch, service. Even at the end of the day as an emergency. It wasn't just their job, they showed an unprecedented level of care . They treated our beat up k9 kid like family, and at a time of high stress and anxiousness, we really needed that.

I have found my new vets! I had an emergency with a pregnant dog who had been in labor all night long and I knew needed a c-section! My regular vet that I had been using would not take her till later that evening since I didn’t have an appointment! North Fork told me to bring her right in even though I wasn’t a regular client. Sarah did the surgery right away and her kindness saved my girl and her 7 puppies! I HIGHLY recommend this vet clinic and I’m sure they will be seeing a lot of me in future!

this place is awesome. they took us without an appointment and the staff is amazing helping us with our pet. we are from greensburg pa and have a camp in leeper. we will travel from home to go to them again. very courteous and helpful.

This place is incredible. They talk you through everything and clearly really care for your animals. We came for an emergency surgery as they were the only ones offering a price we could afford.So glad me did because once they did their own once over on my boxer, they concluded she didn’t need surgery at all!!! Just some medicine. Forever grateful for the staff there today.

North Fork took great care of my new little kitten when I brought her in for her first checkup. They went out of their way to fit us in same-day when the other vets in the area were booked out two and three weeks, and they got her all fixed up with all of the testing and vaccinations and preventatives that she needed to get a healthy start in her new home. They were very loving and gentle with her, and they answered all of my questions too. Her exam was very thorough, and they even trimmed her nails for me. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this vet!

This place is all around amazing. I am so impressed with them it's unbelievable. They took care of two of our pets one an emergency visit and another an urgent visit and I am blown away by the service. Doctor was honest and gave his opinion with no punches, he wasn't about the money but more about the care he was giving to the animal and the animals family. I will not be going back to another vet and plan on using them for my future litters of puppies as well ! Thank you all for your hard work !

We took our new puppy Poppy there today, and it was great! The office was so clean, everyone was super friendly and very willing to help us with our nervous pup. Dr. Dan also does our farm calls and always does a great job. Would recommend to anyone!

This place is amazing. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful. The vet saw my pup for an emergency at 1030 pm which is 30 minutes past his emergency cut off time to pull quills from his face and for my cat they got me in the same day for an abscess on his face. I can't say one bad thing about this place. Google does have the building wrong though, it is actually right before the Adult Store.

They are an awesome vet with great customer service. I take my cat Piper there. She is 10 years old and has issues with diabetes. I also had an emergency where my sister's dog needed to be euthanized due to a serious health issue that was unexpected. Even though my sister was not a client the doctor stayed after hours so I could bring the dog in, did a complete exam. Even though the outcome was not what we hoped, the kindness and compassion showed was bar none. I would highly recommend those in the Brookville Community to utilize this veterinary hospital.

I took my dog here after a recommendation from a friend when he was super depressed after the loss of his 13 year old canine " brother" They seemed very nice but my dog did not feel comfortable. He barked and made a mess in the room. Great vet but my dog did not like it there. Give it a try you might like it.

Our vet currently retired and we have been wondering what we were going to do. Our dog started limping and after watching him for 24 hours we decided we needed to get him seen. Called North Fork, got a call back quickly and and appointment that same day! Was very impressed with the facility and the staff that we met! Wonderful care! Very informative! We found our new vet!!!

This is honestly the best vet practice in Brookville. Everyone is very friendly, they are VERY thorough, and they catch things that other vets miss. The caught our dog's cancer that a previous vet missed, they helped my cat's mouth issues (former vet said it was mouth ulcers, it was really that his tooth was rotting), and they were extremely helpful when a different cat got covid. They referred us to other vets further away who were better equipped to deal with our one cat's congestive heart failure as well (he was the one who got covid). Their prices can get a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it to know your pets are in good hands.

I just moved to the area and was referred to Dr. Dan and North Fork Vet clinic. He was very professional, caring, and knowledgeable. We got to share the intimate moment of the passing of our family dog this morning and they made it very comfortable. I’m so thankful to have this clinic nearby.
