This place deserves sooo many more stars than FIVE!!! They are absolutely amazing. They work miracles…they work holidays…weekends…you name it. They saved my dogs life. They were able to get us in the SAME day I called.:.may I also note..this was a Saturday…and also New Years Weekend. Their pricing is also great. They were much better priced than many others…! They are also very very friendly..they were waiting at the door with welcoming hands when I arrived and they were immediately ready to take my dog in. They were very kind to both my dog and myself. Amazing place. I will continue to use this veterinary and I will also keep recommending it!!!

Our Mr. Frehley had his very first vet appointment today. He's six months old. Everyone was so kind and compassionate, I was worried because he doesn't take kindly to people as a general rule lol They made him feel comfortable and nobody got scratched 😁 Everybody answered all our questions without making us feel dumb. I'm very happy I chose this place to care for our furbaby!

My current vet was out of town and my senior dog had a health crisis. This clinic is fantastic , from the receptionist to the assistants and of course the vet. They treated my dog like he had been going there for a while . It's not easy finding a vet when your regular is out of town. But this place got my dog right in I would highly recommend them. They are first rate. I will be back.

I can't thank y'all enough, I could cry about it!! We moved to upper state NY and could not find a single vet that could 1. get our dog in within 6 months to get his remaining teeth pulled or 2. not cause us to file for bankruptcy to pay for teeth extraction. We got a consult here immediately, then got the surgery scheduled three days out THE MORNING AFTER CHRISTMAS!!!! And it only cost $400. The vet we saw in NY gave us an estimate for $7,000 to do the same exact procedure. This clinic literally saved our life and was able to get us in so quickly! It was a literal miracle but judging by all these great reviews-- it appears that this clinic makes miracles happen every day!!! I cannot thank the vets and staff here enough. Seriously! I also left your contact info and address on my one star review for the place in NY that we went to....

Staff is professional and Dr's knowledgeable. Unfortunately we had to put Julie to sleep after he explained all the complications. It was the compassionate choice. Dr. T explained well. I was sobbing and the tech hugged me. She really cared. Dr. McLaine was always very caring to my girl!!I will go there if I ever have another dog.

I brought my cat in for a check up today and had such a great experience! All of the staff members were welcoming and friendly. My cat is skittish and did end up needing sedated for her visit. The staff members were considerate and compassionate when providing care. Even once she was asleep, the doctor was soothing and pet her throughout the exam. They spent plenty of time answering my questions and addressing my concerns. After the visit, I was sent home with reading material to go over regarding the information we discussed. I will absolutely be going back the next time my pet needs care.

Everyone is so friendly and patient! The place always seems to be busy, animals, people, phone ringing.... They are always patient and don't rush you in person or on the phone. The Drs and techs are very thorough and compassionate. Me & the kitties have been going there since they opened!

The whole vet clinic is full of amazing techs and vets. I refuse to take my fur babies anywhere else. They always go above and beyond. I truly wouldn’t recommend anyone else to take your fur babies to.

The staff are the nicest people I have ever met. My dog Mac has been there 7 times just for porcupine quills in his face. My dad had him there last week for throat surgery due to the quills! They're so loving and gentle. We also bring our new pupps Cleatus and Claudia there. They are so quick to greet the puppies and one of the nurses gave my son a stuffed puppy that he now sleeps with! Thank you to all the wonderful girls at Jefferson Animal clinic for being so sweet and kind to my whole Family! You're the best! I couldn't ask for a better animal clinic!!

The Dr's and staff here did everything they could for my puppy. She had been attacked by a bear and needed extensive work done. They helped me with expenses, and went out of their way to ensure she was comfortable. If you want a vet office who actually cares about your pet, this is the place.

This place is a really great place. Very friendly caring staff. Gave great relief for my Izzy getting her teeth extracted. They make sure your animal is good after a procedure before they send them home. I highly recommend this place. I'm so glad I switched vets.

This is a decent veterinary clinic. They are quite busy, so often there is a considerable wait to be seen. They do have emergency visits at an added cost. They have done well for our cats and dog. We had a cat misdiagnosed here, but he had a rare cancer of the spleen that was difficult to detect. But we did loose close to 60 days with treatment that was not going to correct the issue. I do not believe in this case a 60 day earlier diagnosis would have made a life altering difference, but it would have allowed a few more treatment options sooner. By the time we got a correct diagnosis it was to late to try chemotherapy. They are limited with some services compared to clinics closer to Pittsburgh or other major cities, but they do their best for the services available.

Our cat nearly died from a urinary blockage, when I called The Animal Clinic they got me right in that afternoon. I arrived an hour early, and said I do t think my cat has an hour to live. They got him right in. He had to stay the weekend, but made a full recovery!!! All the Doctors and nurses where SUPER!!! EVERYONE IVE TALKED TO RECOMMENDS THE ANIMAL CLINIC!!!

My cat has been there multiple times over the past few years and every experience has been professional, welcoming and gentle with my pet. She is a disabled animal so I take her a little more often than most and the prices are very reasonable. The cheapest place around to get a rabies shot if that's what you're looking for.

Fixed my puppy up the same day she cut her foot. Also they casted her knee when she broke it even though they didn't know if it was gonna work but they wanted to do everything so it didn't get amputated and she healed perfect.

They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They gave detailed instructions after my cats ear amputation surgery. He healed great and they didn't even charge me when we had to return to get the stitches removed 2 weeks later. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their pets to receive great care. I thought the pricing was very reasonable compared to the Clarion Animal Hospital where we had been going previously out of location convenience. The Jefferson Animal Clinic is worth the 30 minute drive for us!

Dr. Trofin was always great when taking care of my cat and my friend’s dog. When it came to euthanizing my pet though I’m glad I went with the Brookville Veterinary Clinic because where they were compassionate and understanding, Dr. McClaine was cold and disregarding. I didn’t have to suffer more than necessary but my friend was further traumatized by an already distressing event because McClaine sedated her dog and left her for 20+ min with her tongue hanging out of her mouth, a memory that haunts her. When she should have been left with an image of her dog that she could remember fondly, she was left with this sad decrepit version because McClaine was careless and unempathetic.

We've been going here for 2 years now and I have 0 major complaints. The staff is friendly and considerate for the most part. Our dog has a case of separation anxiety if you ask me and he isn't the best when he has to leave us for bloodwork or shots.

I love this veterinary office, they've taken care of all of my animals for a decade, even when they handled large animals they treated my cattle and even my horses. Were ready to come to my home to put down my senior cat as well due to transportation issues. He passed naturally before they left the office, but the founding vet actually sat in my field and cried with me when he had to come euthanize my 30+ year old senior gelding. I've rushed cats hit by cars before and had my pet treated like a human in a standard ER. They've even treated feral kittens like loved pets, despite the many scratches. I'd travel counties, honestly.

These people were absolutely amazing. I was frantic to get my puppy in somewhere to be seen for an emergency and they put me on a list for the next day and called me an hour later and said that they got him in same day. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. If he lived closer we would come here for primary vet care.

Took my Dad's puppy here and the staff was absolutely amazing! Caring and very sweet to the animals. They listened to all of our concerns and answered all our questions. The vet was very knowledgeable and spent time with the pup during his exam. Wonderful place with great people!!
