Watch all shelving units here when you pull a product from them especially the top shelf. They use products to hold up their shelves instead of proper support. Products from the shelves they keep extra stock in will fall on you with the products also. Risk management will not answer their phone when you call. Be careful shopping here!!!

Very nice staff and an easy place to find. No problem finding a spot to park. The store had a lot of the things I was looking for. The store had carts, ladders extra in the way which always makes shopping more difficult. The store has to stock but bring out one cart at a time until it is done, then bring the next cart.

This atore has a wonderful staff and large selection of products including an expanded perishable and frozen section. Situated near Cook Forest between Dubois and Clarion this is the local one stop shop.

I go here on occasion when I need something but never buy food here. Prices are outrageous, you'd be better off going to Walmart for your groceries. I'd only go here when you need something desperately but besides that, unless you like throwing away your cash, buy elsewhere.

Never what I need at this store and stock Never put on shelves so you can see what they do have carts boxes and totes are always in the way you have to move them to get what you want if they do have it and Never more than 2 people working so things can get stocked and absolutely filthy inside and outside and marienneville and Leeper is not much better

This place is busy!.. they do their best to get you checked out as quickly as possible. Always 2 people at the register, sometimes 3. There are also several employees working LOTS of new stock in the ailses and freight on the floors. Overall the store is clean, they are in-stock with any item I have needed.

Went into this store in December of 2021 and it was so filthy with trash and merchandise askewed on shelves and floors, dirt on everything. I'm pretty sure it hadn't been cleaned in a year or more. Must have some pretty lazy employees or they just don't care. Won't shop there again. I'd give the zero stars if I could.

You can't get through the isles because there's CONSTANTLY stock carts EVERYWHERE. I long ago stopped buying refrigerated items here when there was a cart full of MILK sitting in the isle the entire time I was there (over half an hour) and God knows how long it'd been there before I got there. I understand they may be understaffed, but if they can't get it put away, why drag them out all over the entire store?? I couldn't be happier that another dollar store has opened up just a few miles away.

If I could give less than one star, I would. This store is always cluttered and dirty. There are always boxes and totes everywhere, you have to move racks and carts to actually get to the shelves and more often than not, the shelves are a cluttered mess and items not stocked. I really like Dollar General but this is, by far, the worst one I've been in.

Classic dollar general. Has what I want and usually at a fair price. Relating to the entirety of the dollar general brand, i wont buy any of their cooler ground meat products due to incredibly low quality of product. Everything else is fine. Easy to get in to, parking is a bit iffy due to the way it is set up.

I am not a person who writes many reviews, or when I do, I am not typically critical. However, the Brookville Dollar General is simply the most frustrating retail store I have ever been in. The aisles are always packed with carts full of merchandise that need to be unpacked and placed on shelves. Today, four store aisles were completely unnavigable due to these merchandise carts. Many shelves of basic supplies (vitamins/medicines, dishwash detergent, soaps, cleansers, etc.) were completely empty. The store is obviously short-staffed, and clerks say they are often the only ones who "showed up to work." When I commented on the condition of the store and the lack of products on the shelf, the clerk stated that corporate won't give them the hours to stock shelves. Earlier this week I stopped at the Oliveburg Dollar General; it was a significantly better experience. DG, you have set your marketing plan for small towns, perhaps because your competition is limited. However, with DGs popping up everywhere, customers can easily drive to one that is managed better than the one on Allegheny Blvd.

This has got to be one of the nicest Dollar General stores in North Central Pennsylvania. They have a little bit of everything and the staff are super helpful. If you need some essentials or a place to grab something quick for your travels, this store is a good place to stop. It's easy in and easy out.

This is my go to store in the Cooks Forest Area. We camp in Sigel and are about 15/20 minutes away. I love that this store has a frozen food section as well. You can get anything and everything you need (within reason) you would need at a decent price. We usually pay much more in those little shops "in the woods" so we try to hit this up before we get that far.

The service wasn't bad. I feel like the store is set up in such a confusing way there doesn't seem to be much order to things. Had trouble finding everything I was looking for. It also seems DG's only work one person at a time, even on days they seem to be busy. Probably could use having two employees.

I don't know why, but this is one of the larger Dollar General stores I've ever seen. The place was a bit of a mess but had so many great things I don't often see in a Dollar General. Definitely worth popping into if you are in the area!

The gentleman manager all of the Brookville Dollar General is always a wonderful help a nice person very polite courteous and the store always looks so good not like others disorganized this man should be commended for the job that he does thank you

Great little store. I was camping at Clear Creek and it was so helpful. I was easier then driving all the way to Ridgway to get a store. It helped my family a lot and I hope it helps yours.

It's a dollar general. Generally cluttered yet always lacking in certain items. Staff is normally pretty friendly, but every now and again not so much. Again... it's a dollar store, what do you expect?

Some pretty good prices are popping up everywhere we play a game kind of like we used to do with the one headlight out called padiddle now it's Dollar General especially down through the South
